As a tradesman, always in and out of all suppliers.
I'd walked to the materials I needed with a board trolley... within 2 mins Wickes employee "Dan" had approached asking what more I needed.
I explained the 9 rolls of loft insulation was short by 2 rolls.
He immediately radio the team outside dealing with a delivery.
By the time Dan helped me out to the van to load up the 9, entered the store again..the forklift had removed stock on the delivery truck to access the new delivery of insulation.
I paid for 11 then
Dan and I then took one each to the van.
Job done...no waiting, no fuss.
Exceptional service compared to other branches.

This is only the start of our bathroom journey but so far the discussion, design and help offered by consultant Julie Barrett of Dorking branch is five-star. We spent a good three hours yesterday on the project. There's a way to go and I'll let Trustpilot know

Early last year ,We had our bathroom refitted ,new shower, tiling and decorating .This was Wickes in Dorking who undertook the contract .After a short time we realised the electrics were at fault ,and managed to have the electrician and bathroom fitter return to stop the issue of the shower cutting out . Should not have happened on the first place .
I became aware of a damp issue in the adjoining bedroom and hall ceiling , I did not think it was related to the work undertaken in the bathroom ,as We have had a damp issue before in the bedroom .I called in damp experts who quickly found that the bath had not been sealed properly with silicon and the water from the shower was dripping down the sides and onto the floor . Along with this ,the pipes under the bath had not been sealed professionally and this was also a major issue under the bath which was damp as a result of the shoddy workmanship . It cost £400.00 on the day from the damp company who did a detailed report .
This was two weeks ago and all we are still waiting ,after countless emails to customer relations, for action on this
Our bathroom is a mess, and this company is hiding behind their computers.I would not recommend Wickes to anyone ,especially The Dorking office which is completely failing in their obligations to their customers.
We wait for a proper response.
One month later and the situation continues ,doubtless the company is taking on new contracts whilst being unable to honour existing ones . We have visited The Dorking shop, spoken with a no. of people and still nothing . The bathroom is a mess and the shower unusable . No one wants to solve a simple issue . Stay clear of this company, yep, go elsewhere .

A big thanks to Wickes for their incredible generosity when the Dorking Area Foodbank were moving into their new premises. They were a pleasure to deal with and we are very grateful for their help and support with decorating equipment and fixtures.

Excellent welcoming staff and very efficient service. As a comminuity benefit society, Energy Action Redhill & Reigate Ltd. has used Wickes Dorking to source and deliver insulation and energy saving items to 2-300 homes over the past year which have all been done without any problems and at very competitive prices, as well as donating items to us. The mangement team have been very supportive throughout. I highly recommend them

Always helpful staff here and I’m in and out 3/4 times a week. Sean served me today and was as usual cheerful and polite. Got what I needed which is usually the case here and most things are easy to find too. Occasionally have to ask where something is but usually because I’m looking “like a bloke”!

I brought a kitchen from the Dorking store and I had a great experience. This was my first time buying a kitchen and I was doing it on a budget and was nervous about choosing the right one. Emily the design consultant put me straight at ease. She showed me different options and designed it on screen for me too see and change different things. The process was so much easier than I thought. The kitchen has now been fitted and I am over the moon with the result.
