Wickes - Cheltenham Anmeldelser 

This is my second bad review on the same problem. Faulty lawn mower, sent back well within the warranty timeline, now being charged by Genpower to fix a problem on the device that was non existent when I sent it.

Wickes responded to my initial complaint asking for additional details, then nothing...

Absolutely sick of that company and its customer service, will avoid at all cost in the future.

Curtis Tew was very helpful, from his visit to the house, plans made and appointment in the store. He was calm, knowledgeable and understood what I wanted from both the kitchen and bathroom. Did not feel rushed. Took his time. Could not recommend him enough

Ellie at the Cheltenham store was fantastic, she helped with our query and suggested a few good option. Good service with a smile too.

Appears that Wicks have started farming out delivery's. What's going on? Second order I've placed that's now being delivered by currier company's. This is not made clear when you order. Still waiting on delivery, and now had an obscure message from two different and obscure company's, informing me that although they have received the order, as yet, no date given. Needless to say I'm not happy, as I'm in the middle of a job. I need to know now, and hopefully in a couple of days as advertised, and not a week or more. Last delivery arrived with one bloke and his van. I then had to help him unload 8 sheets of plasterboard. Wicks, get it together. This is not acceptable. Let's not forget I paid extra for this.

Hi thank you for your email thanking me for attending my design appointment. Unfortunately the contact in store went home due to being in early, so the appointment never happened. I called the store and asked them to call me today to place my order no call was made. I have been in the Cheltenham store 3 times and called multiple times and still left without being able to place my order. I have spent a significant amount with you in the last few years so this is beyond disappointing. I will try your Gloucester store tomorrow and hope someone is there to take my order

I would give 0 stars if I could. Our experience with Wickes Cheltehnam has been nothing short of a nightmare.

We had our kitchen design appointment back in January, and now it’s May and we still don’t have a worktop. The entire process has been plagued by delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability.

Trying to get hold of anyone to resolve issues has been incredibly frustrating. Calls go unanswered, and when we do manage to speak to someone, nothing actually gets sorted.

To make matters worse, our initial delivery was missing several cabinets, including a crucial unit needed for our oven and hob. This left us unable to properly cook for weeks. When the missing cabinets finally arrived, every single one was damaged. Despite this, we felt forced to assemble them anyway because we simply couldn’t face any more delays.

This has been a stressful, exhausting experience from start to finish. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Wickes for a kitchen.

Visited Wickes in Cheltenham to buy a Bosch battery and had a really poor experience. I asked a staff member on the shop floor (Kristen Cameron) who said they didn’t know if they had any and told me to check outside. To do that, I was sent to the front desk, but when I got there, they pointed me straight back to the same person I’d just spoken to.

Both staff members seemed completely uninterested in helping and I ended up going in circles with no assistance at all. Really frustrating and not the level of service you’d expect.”

We were assisted by the lovely Aiden at the Cheltenham branch. He helped us with our purchase, giving good knowledgeable advice. He also helped to transport to our car.

Had some help from Aidyn in the Cheltenham store - there was some damage to some skirting board and he went above and beyond - even helped carry it to the till.

Great experience shopping at wickes today. The staff couldn’t have been more patient in helping me to get my items and it was such a quick turnaround experience getting my click and collect. Will definitely be shopping there again.

The site was closing in about 10 minutes, and the kind man helped us find them and sell them in about a minute, wonderful customer service!

All the staff at Wickes have been helpful & courteous. A special note to Shannon, Operations Manager, who was particularly patient.
Going the extra mile in solving the loose bolts problem, on the cutting blade mechanism.
Also a special mention to Mack, who was very reassuring, initially, on the telephone, Then also in the Store.

Went to a few places when looking to install a new kitchen for a large renovation project. Found Wickes in Cheltenham to have very helpful staff and a good range of quality units and appliances. We did need a fair bit of advice when choosing both the units and the worktop and found our kitchen designer Curtis, to be exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and with a real flair for design. Would certainly use Wickes again.
