I enjoyed the Design Consultant, Navdeep's company. He was friendly and enthusiastic for the product, Wickes, Solar Heating systems.
Unfortunately, he was unable to provide me with technical advice, which was what I was keen to receive. He did provide a price and information provided by the company for which I was grateful, but I learned little about the system and whether it could facilitate the intended internal heating provision I was hoping to support. I'm still fairly clueless about the output that would serve as key information.

Tunay at Wickes Brentwood was great from start to finish, helping us to design our new kitchen. He was particular helpful and patient during the design phase and offered helpful suggestions that we great appreciate. Thankyou for all your help

I purchased a kitchen from Wickes Brentwood Essex including installation before the school summer holidays. Installation was programmed for October. Navdeep at Wickes was our kitchen designer- His honesty, support and advice and the facility to be able to communicate with him both before and during the process is something which we really valued especially since this was our first major project on our house. We were assigned River Birch Landscapes now River Birch Installations overseen by their owner and project manager Andrey.
Following the survey, delivery of units took place on a Saturday of Half term holidays- This was carried out excellently by Wickes Distribution staff.
We were also suggested some additional works by Andrey due to the age of our kitchen which included a new ceiling and plastering- Not part of the Wickes build but very necessary works which I was later to understand integral to the kitchen finish,
The works took place over a number of weeks since we had the additional works.
We had pre installation visits by electricians, gas safe fitters which were all excellent and led an overseen by Andrey of River Birch Installations.
At all times Andrey and his team on behalf of Wickes were professional, punctual, maintained a high level of communication and also what is important to mention is Andrey's attention to detail with regard to every aspect of the installation, from the removal of the old kitchen to the construction of the cabinets to the final finish- Andrey and his team are highly competent and skilled- from the electricians to the gas safe engineer to the plumbing and heating engineer. Wickes are fortunate to have such top class professionals working on their behalf- and at base in the store, they are fortunate to have Navdeep to go through and explain how the whole process works-
Also impressive was Wickes Customer service- When we had to have an additional unit sourced and delivered as part of a design update mid installation ( an additional cabinet) both Navdeep and customer services ensured that the item got to the installer on time.
We now have an absolutely fantastic kitchen- It really has transformed our home and in reality cost wise it was a relatively moderate cost for what is definitely a top end kitchen-
I had never really used Wickes before - now if I have any further projects Wickes and Andrey at River Birch Installations are my absolute preferred professionals,

I am writing to formally commend Navdeep Bhandal for the exceptional, continuous support he provided while helping me finalize my kitchen project.

The completion of the kitchen became a very stressful period due to significant issues with an awful builder. However, Navdeep's assistance was invaluable. Despite the frequency of my calls and visits to the showroom, he was outstandingly patient, helpful, and supportive, consistently operating above and beyond his standard role, I am sure, and provided effective solutions for every challenge.

During my multiple visits to the store, I also observed Navdeep extending the same high level of courtesy and problem-solving skills to other customers. He is truly a great asset to the Brentwood Wickes and Wickes team. I honestly believe I could not have successfully completed this project without his dedication and support.

Finally, I also wish to acknowledge the broader Customer Services team, who were exemplary throughout the process. They were always helpful, delivered on their promises, and ensured I was never let down.

Thank you for fostering a team that provides such a high standard of care.

Tunay in the Brentwood store is excellent. He designed our kitchen and was with us every step of the way and we still feel we can go to him now after installation.
We had a few issues with actual products themselves, which are getting resolved, but the initial design process was a good experience.

Very pleased with the company and the services staff very helpfull and explain things very well. And the manager mindy is extremely good and very helpful and am very pleased with the products that are supplied there at wicks

I've been here a couple of times and mindy has always provided outstanding customer service, whether I needed stuff for flooring or general building materials. She is ever so knowledgeable, such a pleasant manager very astute and very quick to resolve any problems or general queries. Highly recommend getting advice from her about anything in general - thanks mindy for your help and wonderful service!

I had the order number but not the PIN number and I was not happy that they could not provide me with my click and pick up service. I could not get back to the shop the next day and I was a tricky customer who wanted their item. The guys that served me were Nav and Austin and they were polite and done their very best to calm me down to explain my options and the reasons why the processes were in place. They went through my order and I had put the wrong details in for my email but they did not make me feel embarrassed or that I was making a fuss and helped me as much as they could. They were a credit to Wicks and customer service. Thank you Jane

I made my purchase some time ago, but forgot to send a review. I needed some advice on tiles in your Brentwood store back in April and Adrian was so helpful and a great asset to the company. Apologies for taking so long to get in touch :)

Really disappointed. Booked a bathroom appointment for 3.30 with Leanne - turned up to Wickes Brentwood after receiving email confirmation.

Bang on 3.30 I got a call on my mobile but nobody spoke so I assumed it was a sales call or something - still unsure as to whether this was Leanne.

At 3.45 someone in the store approached us (and I have to say he was ultra helpful but I'm afraid I didnt get his name).

He told us that the woman I was meeting had been in a different store and he would do his best to track her down - he tried calling her but she didn't answer.

He then spoke to another man, a different design consultant I believe, who asked me some questions about my appointment and design etc said they didn't know where this Leanne was but he could sit down with me, but in a manner that said to me he was fitting us in rather than wanting to help, it felt like an inconvenience - this was now closer to 4pm (half an hour after my appointment time).
He told us to take a seat and then disappeared for another 10 minutes - in the end I just got up and walked out. Well that's 10 grand that they won't be getting from me.

I would like to point out that I made the appointment online, and chose 3.30 out of the available appointments shown to me - which were specified by Wickes and not by me.

I also gave my email address and phone number so if there was a problem they had 2 ways to contact me.

I understand that things happen, people get held up etc but nobody had a clue what was going on.

Not only did she not turn up, she did not contact me, the people in the store had no idea where she was either.
I still am not sure if the 3.30 phone call was from her, however, she could've tried again, sent a message or an email but an hour and a half later (as I'm writing this) I still haven't heard from anyone at Wickes.

I'm so annoyed. If it was me, and I couldn't make a scheduled meeting for whatever reason I wouldn't stop contacting the person until I got hold of them, explained and apologised.
I would also call ahead and explain to my team so that they could either contact the customer for me, apologise on my behalf and find a solution.

To say I am annoyed is an understatement. I arranged my day off around this appointment to stand around like lemon in the store and get ignored by everyone (except for the nice man who tried to help in the beginning).

I recently ordered a kitchen from Wren Kitchens, and the experience was entirely different. Extremely good customer service, they couldn't do enough - what a contrast.

I'll be taking my business and my budget elsewhere - somewhere with decent customer service.

What a waste of time.

Its been 3 weeks since my last review, when they said "sorry, AGAIN, AF would seek answers for the 8 month delay in finishing my kitchen"
As usual, more lies, nothing has happened, other than more stock been delivered, I will be charging storage fees, for the time my dining room has looked like a warehouse. Cannot for the life of me understand what is taking so long, Keep seeing the glossy ads "proud as a peacock" well have NOTHING to be proud of, totally useless customer experience team, DON'T USE WICKES FOR YOUR KITCHEN.

Nav designed our kitchen for us and we couldn’t be happier! Very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process.

Austin was great! I came into the store looking to buy a new hedge trimmer. I asked Austin where i would find the tool and he showed me. He read out the specifications and the benefits of the tool and helped me massively to decide what one to buy. He was very polite, patient and caring and was a overall lovely young man. I will be back again and hopefully will be served by Austin

Tunay Karaman is extremely helpful and an experienced Designer 👌 he is patient and always polite, as we have changed our minds so many times. He has designed the kitchen much better than what we had in mind. We are so honoured to have him as a kitchen designer. Thank you a million times, satisfied customers

Anthony was amazing! Great customer service and he made the full purchase enjoyable.

We used Isobel for our kitchen design and she was absolutely fantastic. She listened to what we wanted and designed a kitchen with our needs in mind. We were having structural work done and Isobel worked diligently and professionally around that, pointing out considerations and offering advice where needed. Even when we made a major change in our design she worked with us to come up with effective and practical solutions offering a “no problems, only solutions” attitude. If you are looking for a kitchen designer we cannot recommend Isobel enough.

Tunay the kitchen designer was amazing. He helped me shape my order into a clear structure and walked me through each line clearly so that I am confident that the order is correct.
Tunay then helped me to achieve an excellent price, which my husband and I are delighted with.
Speaking directly with Tunay has made ordering components for our kitchen so easy, he was fabulous at every stage. Thank you Tunay.

I just wanted to write a review as Anthony was so helpful and gave us great customer service. He said that that 'we put a smile on his face' and he in turn, put a big smile on ours ☺️ Great experience!
