Visited Wickes Beverley to purchase paint for a bedroom project. Didn't have the paint on the shelf that we wanted. Showed there was 4 tins in stock so we asked Emma on the till who very kindly went to look in the back for us and returned with the paint we wanted. Definitely 5* service - thank you!

I am a regular customer of Wickes at the Beverley store and can honestly say that the staff there are a great team. Always polite and helpful, all the staff are a real asset to the company and deserve credit for being helpful when needed, wether it is for help with lifting or loading a heavy item, or a problem with a purchase. The design service for kitchens is excellent and the staff at the tills are always pleasant. The Management will do their best to sort out a problem, if required. All in all, a good experience in store. ( Can’t say that about Wickes phone in Customer service, but that’s another story. )

Wow! Bradley Webster from the Beverley branch of Wickes provided us with THE best world class customer service from start to finish. His attention to detail and desire to provide the best possible solutions to everything we needed was second to none! His experience and expertise was truly the best and we couldn't have wished for a better service. He really listened to what we wanted and checked on us throughout the process. He made sure we were comfortable with everything we had chosen and provided lots of options to suit our needs. We couldn't have wished for a better service from both Bradley and Wickes. Bradley is an excellent ambassador!

In July this year I purchased 3 AluSplash splashbacks from Wickes, Lava Stone. I underestimated my requirement but when I went to the Beverley branch today they could not locate the item anywhere on their central computer ordering system. I turned into Mr Grumpy but LYNNE the lady who was helping me was very good, phoning other branches (no result) and then looking at the manufacturer website to see if I could approach them direct. She finally came up with a workable solution which I have acted on successfully. So, although I'm hacked-off with Wickes, I was really imressed with and grateful for the help I received from LYNNE. Top customer service, and on the basis of her performance today I'll consider continuing using Wickes as a supplier. Nomination for Beverley branch Employee of the Month, LYNNE. Whatever you're paying her its not enough

We ordered (and paid for) a new kitchen from Wickes Beverley in mid-March 2024. The kitchen designer (Bradley) was excellent, and the kit was delivered as promised. The fitter arrived in mid-May, promising completion in 10 days. Things started to go wrong in the first few days; he was not on top of his sub-contractors (plasterer and electricians), and his mind was clearly not on our kitchen but on another job and his own domestic problems. He lied to us, failed to turn up as promised; promised to work long days to make up time, then proceeded to work half days. He demanded payment before the job was completed, then threatened legal action if we didn't pay up. By the end of the third week, I had asked Wickes to replace him as I couldn't bear having him in the house.

The kitchen was finally completed at the end of July - 2 days work for their trouble-shooter - but only after nearly two months of constant, almost daily, phone calls to their "Customer Experience" and "Customer Relations" teams. The process of trying to communicate with this organisation was frustrating and stressful, and nearly drove me to a mental breakdown. They really need to sort out these customer "service" teams; I had to be really assertive and persistent to persuade them to take my complaint seriously. I hope I won't ever need another fitted kitchen, but if I do I won't be going to Wickes.
