Wickes - Basingstoke Anmeldelser 

One member of staff Liam Easton went above & beyond to help me in the Basingstoke branch today. I had a problem with the trolley situation in store due to a lack of flat bed trolleys, so reluctantly I had to use a normal store trolley for my purchase of slate & edging materials. Not ideal.
Then when I went ro return the trolley, they were all snarled up and I was unable to return it to get my trolley token back.
This was now a matter of principle as every time I use the store, there are never enough trolleys, so I complained to Liam Easton.
Throughout he was professional, courteous, calm and incredibly helpful, despite him being very busy and constantly being radioed.
We sorted the problem & I have to say, Liam did a superb job with his customer service.
I've coached customer service for over 40 years & his professional attitude was great & restored my faith in using the store again.

Upon arrival I asked for some assistance with products. I met Billal who sorted everything. First class service, very knowledgeable, courteous and carried my purchases to the car. Great experience, thank you.

Ordered online as our local branch did not have the quantities of items we wanted. Half was sent from our local branch the remaining was from a branch 10 miles away. Only local was delivered the other they have tried to deliver twice now awaiting a thurd attempt but as with most businesses we open at 8 and close at 5. On both attempts they tried to deliver was after 6pm despite telling them our opening hours. Their delivery slot is 7am to 7pm. Fine if you are having delivered to home but not good as a business. Also timber was bent like a bananna.

Following your re booking of our delivery supposedly for Thursday 2nd I got a message at 18.23 on that Thursday saying my order was on its way.
When I’m tracked the order and it said it would be with us by 1900. 7 pm. So from Basingstoke to us within just over half hour. Then I got a red note show up saying I had cancelled the order.

I went into Wickes Winchester on Friday. They called Basingstoke and Basingstoke called me to tell me my order had left on Thursday and was in progress of being delivered.

I was offered to cancel my order which I did not want to do so they said they would speak to the delivery guys Monday and get back to me.

They have not and we still have no delivery.

We have been told that deliveries have been attempted but we have CCTV and know that they have not come to us.

This is getting beyond a joke and we expect better form such a large company.

Still have not received our order in full after nearly two weeks and a lot of frustration. We have been told that several deliveries have been attempted.

We had agreed the goods could be left secure and had put a note on our door reconfirming where they should leave the order.

We do not believe they have come to us at all and we are being misled.

Sarah Baxter from Wickes Basingstoke designed our new kitchen. Sarah did a fab job and was there every step of the way to answer queries quickly. We are very happy with our new kitchen and Wickes Basingstoke offer superb value for money. Thank you

Visited the store today for various items and was in a hurry I spoke to Sam M who was excellent she was able to find all what I needed plus helped with some advice on another product … great service thank you

Excellent service from manager at Basingstoke branch. No problem swopping damaged laminate flooring.

All the staff and fitters that were involved in the kitchen / utility fit out were very helpful and sorted any problems quickly and efficiently

Able to help with all my queries with a smile and Chris also came out to the car park after I’d left to check I hadn’t forgotten an item - which I had!!!! Great experience.

The sales processs was good and the salesperson Sarah helped me through the trauma of my wife’s illness and death . The bathroom she designed changed over several iterations, and Iam pleased with the end result.
I was less pleased with deliveries, disruption in just about every room and the errors made by the central support team

All staff were most helpful getting an out of stock item. Sam L led the team and the items arrived on time.

Denise was supremely helpful and knowledgeable right from the moment we sat down to discuss a new kitchen. She guided us when choosing everything from appliances to colour schemes, without being overbearing, only offering help when it was requested. Denise is normally in the Alton store, I guess we were lucky to walk into the Basingstoke branch when she happened to be there.

Our kitchen is now complete and we are delighted. Incidentally, the fitter Denise recommended was superb too, ask her and I'm sure she will be able to hook you up.

Wickes products suited our needs perfectly and at very reasonable prices too.

Delivery made on time. Shame the driver was unable to lift the flooring packs which I had to help bring into my house.

High quality of workmanship and professionalism shown throughout all the trades, planning and execution stages. I cannot rate my experience Red Dragon high enough.
From my initial (pre)appointment with Simon I was fully reassured of the work activities, schedule and when trades were expected to arrive to execute respective activities, likewise additional works were explained in full. Simon provides you with a peace of mind as well as a strong professional experience to ensure that you (as the customer) are also engaged with final ex- design decisions to elevate your final product.
All Trades personnel were also exceptional, high levels of professionalism, courteous, punctual, neat and tidy etc.
Alex (main fitter) was excellent throughout the works his levels of skill and standards of quality of work were outstanding. Likewise, Jon ((Ele), Max (Plumbing) and Alex (Painter) were also high-class and couldn’t help enough ensuring that you (as the customer) were included in any ongoing decisions as well as ensuring that you are kept informed.
I fully recommend that if you are in need of high quality trades, well organised planning and project management Red Dragon should definitely be the first number you dial.Amazing.
