Great service from Waylands Newbury. The pickup/dropoff service is particularly helpful and Harius the driver is always on time and friendly!

I recently purchased a used Volvo XC40 plug-in hybrid from Waylands in Reading, and Jed was an outstanding salesperson. I was looking for a very specific specification, and he managed to source exactly the model I needed.
He was not pushy at all, but rather helped and guided me through the entire buying process. He has also been incredibly supportive with follow-up assistance, offering continued guidance should I have any questions. Waylands must be delighted with the level of service he gives their customers, as he is clearly a massive asset to their business. Highly recommended!

Madison was very helpful and always communicating which really helps when distance buying. Unfortunately after a day of owning the car (EV9), an alert started showing about low coolant it was empty and not something I could refill myself, so I contacted Waylands Kia Reading. Within an hour, David had arranged a flat bed to get it back to them to fix and a courtesy car delivered to me. The issue was resolved and I had got my car back very quickly. It was just one of those things that happens and I cannot fault the after sales service here, top class.

Dale in Reading helped me with my EV6, he was very helpful went above and beyond to ensure a smooth delivery and got a great deal for me, he made the whole process really easy.

Super friendly Marios collected and dropped our car today. Excellent service and fingers crossed the mechanics solved the musty air-con issue with a full Volvo air con service.

Highly disappointed with the recent service experiences at Volvo Waylands Newbury. During the last two services, the complimentary vehicle cleaning was not carried out, despite it being a standard part of the service. More concerning is that after I provided this feedback, I did not receive any apology, acknowledgment, or courtesy call from the dealership.

Customer feedback should be taken seriously, and a simple follow-up would have demonstrated that my concerns were valued. Unfortunately, the lack of both service delivery and customer care has left me dissatisfied with the overall experience.

EDIT (to response): site management hasn't worked with me and treated pretty badly when this was raised! I'm going to make a complaint to the Motor Ombudsman today as 8 WEEKS GONE after my formal complaint and I've been treated badly since and no solution was proposed!
This can give a good insight of how they treat customers and how they lie even here to suggest it's been handled. IT HAS NOT!!

THEY LIES CUSTOMERS!! That's unacceptable!I definitely don't recommend using them at all! Huge issues with customer service, they expected from me to manage their internal processes. They even didn't fix what they've been saying for months they'll do and after a year of postponing they said they don't know anything about it and that person doesn't work here anymore. They propose to do unnecessary fixes and only when challenged they said it's not needed. No way of handling complaints in the rjght way. During call I was promised compensation what was refused when arrived!! It looks like they lies just to use their service and get more than they should!!!

The Team at Waylands Volvo Oxford were amazing. Corban test drove the car with us and was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The Branch Manager welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. We dealt with Tim the Sales person who was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept us communicated with and supported us every step of the way to getting our beautiful new car. Thank you so much, highly recommend.

Bought our car in summer 2024 from Waylands Reading. We’ve since been dealing with Waylands Oxford as it’s the closest branch to us. The first winter we notice our heating wasn’t working properly. Since then, we’ve had the car in on 5 separate occasions and it’s still not working. Each time they reassure us that it will be fixed. We’ve now notice the air conditioning isn’t working properly (similar issue as the heating). We have a 21 month old which makes no heating/air con even worse. We’ve got the car booked in for the 6th time to have it looked at. My partner also said he wants to raise a complaint. He was told the manager would ring him back on Tuesday this week, nothing. Rang again on Thursday, again told the manager would be in contact, nothing. Rang again today and told the same thing and still didn’t hear back.

Awful experience with them in the Oxford branch with my Volvo XC40!

We bought a 3 year old Volvo and the heating and air con has never worked despite being in warranty and looked at 5 times (booked for a 6th).

It’s also a nightmare to get in touch with them. You sit on hold for a minute before then getting through to a switch board which is infuriating when you have to call so often. The reason for ringing so many times is because they promise to call you back or email and never do. I’ve phoned 3 different days this week all with that promise and no returned call.

When they eventually look at the car they do the bare minimum and never actually fix the issue as well. They’ve tried on 4 occasions out of 5 by doing a ‘calibration’ which clearly didn’t work the other times.

Dreadful all round! Please go somewhere else to get a car or for servicing!!

Harry who picked up and returned our car was on time, extremely helpful, polite and a delight to chat to. Our main contact at Waylands kept us up to date on progress at all times and took his time explaining all that was needed. All told a good experience.
