I enjoyed the study materials from LIBF for my CeMAP exams. The study materials were very helpful and easy to understand. I also love the availability of an online version of the study materials as it could be used on the go.
I would say it is good value for the price.

If you are looking to study the online MBA course part-time, please do not choose this university! The support is abysmal, every sales pitch of being able to arrange time with tutors is a lie and all they will ever do is pass any issue on to someone else to handle (it will not be resolved). This place outright lied to me before I signed up as a student; when I asked if study breaks were possible due to my job, I was told you could take a break of six months and then continue your studies when ready. When I chose to do that very same thing due to my work life being hectic, I was told that wouldn’t be possible. No ownership, no apology, nothing. They blamed me and told me I would have misunderstood. You will only be able to speak to your module tutor once a month, if you can’t make it, you can’t make it. This whole course is sold to people who work full-time, as a way to study for an MBA alongside your career, but the entire system is built backwards. You’ll be left to do everything alone, and when you ask for guidance they’ll pass you over to someone else instead of helping you, all the while taking your money every month. I am begging you, DO NOT STUDY HERE.

I successfully completed both the CeMAP and CertPRO qualifications with Walbrook Institute (formerly LIBF), where I received excellent support throughout my studies to help me achieve these results.

Amazing course materials, Very easy to understand and easy to book and cancel test days

Walbrook failed to deliver my course as promised, despite students raising concerns about the extremely poor academic, administrative, and pastoral support.

Despite promising changes, halfway through my second year (May 2025), they announced that all online undergraduate programmes were being withdrawn as they couldn’t guarantee service delivery. It is now the end of August, and my student loan hasn’t been refunded as agreed.

The whole withdrawal process has been chaotic and disorganised. I had a formal complaint mishandled, which resulted in me being paid compensation.

The delays and disruption to my life and the lives of other students have been significant. In many cases, students have found their academic careers and graduation delayed by years, as they are unable to or are struggling to transfer to different institutions.

I am extremely disappointed with my whole experience at Walbrook, and I can only describe the service I received as shambolic.

I studied with them before they were acquired by IU, and they used to be excellent.

Many of the positive reviews you will see relate to their on-campus degrees and professional qualifications, which are delivered in a completely different way to their online courses.

If you are thinking of studying for an online degree with Walbrook, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. My experience has been genuinely dreadful, and for much of it, I felt isolated, unsupported, and alone.

Do yourself a favour and sign up with the Open University or an institution that actually cares for and supports its students.

I recently completed my Level 6 Diploma in Advanced Financial Advice with Walbrook )London Institute of Banking & Finance) and found the whole experience to be excellent. The study support was clear, straightforward and very easy to follow, which made the process smooth and manageable throughout. The resources provided were intuitive and well-structured. Overall, a very positive experience which I would highly recommend.

Over the course of my career, I have completed most of my financial services qualifications through LIBF/Wallbrook. From the very first module, I found their learning materials to be exceptionally clear, practical, and easy to engage with. Complex topics were broken down into manageable sections, supported by examples that made the content feel directly relevant to day-to-day client work.

Their exam process is equally impressive – well-structured, fair, and designed to test not just theoretical knowledge but how it can be applied in real-world scenarios. This approach made the study process feel genuinely valuable, and I could see the direct benefit in my professional advice work.

As a footnote I started out with CII but I found LIBF to be an easy way to learn and I switched the remainder of my qualifications to LIBF.

I recently completed the Certificate in International Trade Risk (CITR) with LIBF, part of Walbrook Institute London, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. The course content was comprehensive, practical, and highly relevant to today’s global trade environment. The learning support and resources provided were excellent and easy to navigate. I would highly recommend LIBF to anyone looking to advance their expertise in trade and transaction banking.

My experience has been really good. The content was very informative, to the point related to topics and with good user interface.

My experience with Walbrook (formerly LIBF) has been deeply disappointing and frustrating. I was withdrawn from my course without any clear or fair reason, despite fulfilling my academic responsibilities. Afterward, I was promised a refund in writing — but to this day, I’ve received nothing.

What’s worse is that they now ignore all communication. I’ve sent multiple emails, tried to call, and followed up for weeks — with no reply, no explanation, and no refund. Their phone line often doesn’t work, and no one replies to emails. This is unacceptable behavior from any institution, especially one involved in financial education.

This situation has wasted my time, disrupted my academic path, and caused financial stress, as I now need the refund to pay for another university. I also still haven’t received my Certificate of Higher Education, which I’m fully entitled to.

Sat Financial Planning in Retirement exam. Easy study material, good structure and interesting way to be examined. The tech behind it also worked, which is great.

Really pleased with the course. Even though it was challenging I'm glad I was able to push myself to get over the line.
Course material all came very promptly

Recently took LIBF's Pay Cert course, it's well designed for someone who's new to the payments world. Probably, more designed for Product Managers, Product Owners and someone in seniority roles.

CITF was an amazing learning experience, and it will not be the last one with Walbrook

My learning journey with Walbrook has been inspirational. Despite having several setbacks that sometimes threatened to derail my progress, I have had great support from my tutor Wendy Chowne, and the Walbrook team. Would definitely recommend them as a learning provider.
