VWFS Rent-a-Car - Watford Anmeldelser

I have been renting with them for years now. Once I started renting with them, I stopped checking other possibilities. They are just so friendly, helpful and the cars are so convenient. I feel safe just to go straight to them. On top of this, Richard is really a nice guy, making things simple and easy.

The car worked fine, the pickup process was straightforward and the return process equally so. The most complicated part was the online booking process, as I had no prior experience of driving the makes of car I was choosing between. Altogether, though, it was painless.

staff were very helpful and car good- had to extend the lease and this was also dealt with efficiently.

I had the car as I requested early afternoon

Excellent service; car selected available and was clean and mechanically sound.
Would use again..

Hands down the best experience I have had renting a car. Very straightforward process, collection and drop off. Richard who looked after us truly an asset for the VW group. We will be back for sure.

★★★★★

Very easy and straightforward to book and reserve a vehicle, whether online or over the telephone.

I initially needed a vehicle for a relatively short period, but my rental was extended several times due to delays with my new vehicle. Each time, the process was handled quickly and without any difficulty.

For longer rentals of two weeks, one month or more, Citygate Volkswagen Car Rental offered excellent rates that Enterprise simply could not match. Unlike Enterprise, they were also far more flexible with long-term rentals and did not impose unnecessary restrictions on the rental period.

The service at VW Citygate Watford provided a much more personal, one-to-one customer experience. I have previously rented from both the Colindale and Bushey branches, and the level of service has always been consistently excellent.

My most recent rental began in the first week of March and ended on 8 July, meaning I had the vehicle for approximately three months. Throughout that time, Richard Scheininger, the Rentals Manager, was outstanding. He made the entire rental process easy, straightforward and completely hassle-free. His professionalism, flexibility and excellent customer service made a real difference, and he was always happy to accommodate any changes to my rental.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in renting from Richard and the Citygate team again. If you are looking for excellent customer service, competitive pricing and genuine flexibility, particularly for long-term rentals, I would highly recommend them.

Great service. Prompt, Efficient, and Very Helpful.

Huge thank you to the team at Rent A Car. I needed a car while mine was being repaired and they made the whole process so easy from start to finish.

I had to extend the hire a few times while waiting for my car to be fixed, and they were always so helpful and made it completely seamless. I was also given a brand new car, which was lovely to drive. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, prompt, helpful and flexible. Highly recommend.

Great service. Have used this company a number of times and they never disappoint. Highly recommend them.

I love hiring cars from Richard at Watford. He’s always helpful and the service is excellent. Best cars to hire from in the UK. Been hiring cars from this group for five years now. Every time I visit from Australia. Wish all hire car companies operated like VWFS.

Nice clean car. Richard Scheininger is obliging and pleasant. Easy pick up and return.

It is always a pleasure to rent a car from Richard at Watford every year I come over from Australia. This is the fourth time now and is always an easy, no fuss experience. I’m actually booked again for hire in another five days.
