I needed a vehicle whilst mine was undergoing some work - the booking process for getting a rent-a-car was so easy! It was very stress free and I would recommend it to anyone. Liam was especially helpful!

The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and hassle-free, making the whole experience convenient. I had no idea VW rented cars until I had the advert on the radio and frankly it couldn’t have been easier or better. Liam at the Cambridge branch was great and hiring the T-roc allowed us to try out a ‘higher up ‘ car for a week away in Norfolk (climbing in and out of an A1 is getting harder!). In cost terms only fractionally more than the regular car hire companies where you don’t know what car you’ll get and we did!! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would 100% recommend.

I had no idea that VWFS did car rental, but I found out with a google search after I was let down by my regular rental co.

The transaction from start to finish could not have been easier. One quick confirmation and nothing else. I even rang in to check everything was ok as it seemed too simple to be true!

I have rented may vehicles using the usual local companies, and almost every time there has been an issue. So this was very refreshing indeed.

The customer service from Stuart was second to none. I had an injury which prevented me from picking the car up on the day, so Stuart arranged delivery to my home at a time that suited me. This is not the standard offering, but at that point in time he had drivers available, and helped me out. This was way beyond going the extra mile and was much appreciated at a difficult time.

Another major plus was that the vehicle I chose online was the vehicle I got, with no “or equivalent” disclaimer.

Next time I need to rent a vehicle this will be my first port of call, no question.

Although located in Cambridge it is easy to get to either by road or the Guided Busway stop round the corner. Stuart very helpful and took the time to run through the vehicle controls. Škoda Superb Estate was a great choice for the week we needed it for - comfortable, quiet, great mpg (64!), relaxing to drive. Would definitely look to hire from VWFS if we need to in future.

Happy with the service, communication and the hire vehicle. Only slight criticism was the car wasn't valeted.

Thank you for your excellence service.. the condition of the car is good and having up to date facility. However, It would have been better if the method of payment could easily be accessed by the international bank card (in my case I needed to transfer the fee to my son's UK bank card). Anyway.. impressive

My experience with the staff to collect and drop off the vehicle was excellent. Well done.

However, this was an electric vehicle and these need to be charged. Since I do not have a smart phone that process was made discouraging unlikely. Now this may not have anything to do with VWFS but what can be done is include a service that gives customers like me the option of plugging in somewhere to charge the vehicle. After all, I should not have to own an expensive intrusive phone to participate in looking out for our planet.

Friendly staff who made the whole experience very pleasant and stress-free from start to finish. I was shown around all the controls of the van as I'd not driving one like it before - and all my questions were answered. It was a new van in very good condition. Not a single hitch. When I asked if it would be ok if I brought the van back later than the booked return time, this wasn't a problem, as there wasn't a booking right after mine. All round very impressed. I won't think twice about using their service again. Highly recommended. Competitively priced.

Rented a new van for a week and picked it up 3pm it had under 300 miles on the clock, within 40 miles the engine light came on, returned it the next morning at 9am.
No one there, the dealership said someone will call, no one has called!.

Sent an email about the problem, no one has replied!.

They've taken my money for the weekly rental and I got less than a day out of it.
