Great communication with Keith and he was very helpful and informative we are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend, there was no pressure to buy just a really friendly chat and all the information was genuine would definitely buy again off Vospers.

ECU or not ECU, that is the question!
On 24th Nov my car breaks down in car park 300 meters away from Fiat dealership. Walked over to ask for assistance and was told to get breakdown to bring it over.
Got to garage, told rather curtly "probably wont get to it until 8th Dec at earliest" told will call me by Wednesday. No call received.
Tried calling but no reply. Tried calling Thursday. No answer.
Got my sister to go to Fiat Fri 28th. Apparently had done the diagnostic on Thursday, but forgot to call me. It needed a new part, an ECU, which they would order and would be in Tuesday/Wed. Car would be done by Friday 5th December.
Tuesday 2nd Dec.No part had come in.No courtesy car available. Will keep in touch. Wed 3rd - No part arrived
Thur 4th - No call
Fri 5th - Still no part. Again asked for courtesy car but was told nothing available that day, but one would be available Saturday 6th morning. I was told by Lauren to go to the dealership with my driving licence.
Saturday got to Fiat, told no car booked for me. Eventually when I started to get very upset, and explained I worked full time in a school, had grandchildren to pick up and things to do as it was literally a couple of weeks until xmas and needed a car, one was eventually found. The part took forever to come in with little to no contact from Fiat. I was the one always trying to call during lunch break.
I had the car until Wed 17th December when I eventually got a call saying it should be ready to pick up later that day.
Picked up the car at 4pm and drove home. Thursday 18th December morning 7.30am start car and the exact warning lights are back on. Drove to Fiat as soon as opened and had to leave the car. Paris arranged a taxi to take me to work, which I was late for.
Got my car back later that afternoon. Cost £739.43
Customer service was totally lacking and at times quite rude by Lauren. Paris was always pleasant when I spoke with her but overall the lack of contact, updates and information regarding my vehicle was totally unacceptable.
Friday 23rd Jan 2026, just 1 month later, the warning lights return. Dropped the car to the garage, booked in today 26th Jan. Waited all day but no call. After work went to garage to be told they were looking at it now, 4pm. Was then told its the battery and I need a new one £380 inc fitting!! Would not be able to do it till Wednesday.!!When I said its the exact same warning lights when I first brought it inback in December and the battery was never mentioned only the ECU. He then said that can happen. So if thats the case why was the battery not mentioned at the first visit and replaced first?? No answer.
Decided to go to Halfords who fitted a new battery straight away for £190.
Now I'm wondering if it was only ever the battery!!! Will never trust them again.

The salesperson who helped me with my purchase was John May. He exceeded my expectations in that he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to point of meticulous. I'm very grateful as I believe he went out of his way to deliver a smooth, stress-free transaction.

Pleasant staff to deal with at Vospers…
Pleasant staff to deal with at Vospers Ford Exeter , the only thing that it wasn't so Pleasant it was being promised a Diamond Bright coating for free and I ended up having to pay £125.00 for it , this is very wrong from a big company like Vospers.
So far am Pleased with the car

Fantastic service and excellent care
Myself and my husband had an appointment with Neil. When we arrived Neil was with another customer so a really lovely young woman called Maya came over to us and asked if she could help.
Maya showed us the car we were interested in and took us both through the controls, what the car was like to drive etc. The service we received from Maya was exceptional and we felt throughly looked after.
Neil finished with the other customer and came to see us and apologised profusely for not being available when we arrived. We discussed what we wanted and Neil sorted out some figures.
Maya then sorted out the finalising of the sale.
All I can say is I highly recommend the Vauxhall part of Vospers.

Very positive experience
From the first time I saw my new car on the Vospers website my experience has been a very positive experience. Particular note for the Salesman Ethan Hancock who was very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole purchasing processes. All of my questions were answered and I felt confident that my new car was a good purchase. I will be recommending Vospers as a good place to get a new car.

We purchased a Vauxhall Crossland on the21st January 2026. The lady who handle the transaction was Susan Kennedy, we found her extremly pleasant, very helpful and understanding. She explained to us all of the various features of the car and arranged for a test drive. During our discussions with Susan she explained about various finances available to us. It was a very pleasant experience to to speak to Susan whose attitude was excellent and at no time put us under pressure to purchase the car. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vospers and especially Susan for her excellent service.
It was a very pleasant experience to deal with such a delightful lady, many many thanks Susan, well done.

The salesman Tom was very good and explained the working of the car very well. I was a little bit disappointed seats are bit bit stained and not very clean, and on the way home after picking up the car the tire pressure warning came on when checking the tire pressures were different in all the tires where different 35, 32.5 and 2 tires were only 28. I would have thought that this would have been part of the prehandover. Other than that it was a smooth good experience buying from Vospers

Highly recommend Daniel Kayes at Vospers Plymouth
Daniel Kayes at Vospers Plymouth made buying my van easy, no stress and quick. Was able to contact a company to fit a roof rack before I picked the van up and made sure everything was clean. Kept in contact regularly to ensure I was happy and kept in the loop about the finance etc side of things.
Highly recommend.

Very helpful staff. Always return your calls and keep you updated on progress of your new car. Chloe explained all the features of the car and how to set up the features with the app for the inbuilt computer etc. She made the transition experience from being a manual car driver into full hybrid automatic one very simple for me. Chloe took her time and I never felt rushed upon pick-up.
Excellent Service
I have been taking both our vehicles (currently a Mazda CX5 and a Fiat Ducato-based motorhome) over many years to Vospers Exeter for servicing and have always found them to be friendly, helpful, honest, responsive and knowledgeable. As an example, the latest (Ducato) problem required a complete new software download which was completed free of charge.

Perfect buying experience
Bought a car sight unseen and could not fault the purchasing experience. Kieran Chivers went out of his way to make sure the car was perfect for me when I arrived. Kieran put my mind to rest by sending me walk round videos and detailed photos of the car. Cannot fault. 100% satisfied.
