Came up to the Vitamin Shoppe, that I have been shopping at for years now, about 4, in the state of texas, with some products that did not work well for me. I called before I came, and came up to the store hopeful that the store manager Josh could do something for me concerning the issue since when he and I spoke he said to me he would see what he can do. I hauled these items in to the store only to be turned away with no assistance or willingness to assist whatsoever. It became clear to me that at the end of the day the store and policies are more important to the vitamin shoppe than the customer and customer retention. To that I say honestly think twice before shopping at this store location. Now if your of the Caucasian persuasion you may have better luck than this African American Woman Had as I have witnessed first hand exceptions being made to their policies by Josh. Aside from that I believe that he reached out to his district manager ahead of me to give his input to blatantly stop me from getting any additional assistance. That became evident when the corporate office also reached out to the district manager who went solely off of what the manager Josh messaged to her. Jan the district manager did not try to reach me or discuss this issue with me at all. My initial assumption of the fact that I felt Josh had reached out while I was also in the process of reaching out, was confirmed when I went back into the store and asked Josh if he got a chance to speak to his district manager. He first said no. As if he had no communication with said person, then as I mentioned the conversation with corporate then proceeds to tell me that he messaged Jan about the situation. Josh basically is picky and choosy about who and when he is going to help someone or make an exception because as I mentioned before they have made exceptions regarding similar issues that I personally witnessed first hand. I’ll be filing additional complaints regarding this since Josh took it upon himself to reach out to his district manager after the fact instead of reaching her while I was in his presence right then and there. I would look at this situation differently if he had chose to say hey let me check with my district manager to see what they say because I want to help you, but no, he was sneaky and underhanded about reaching out and so now I’m forced to never shop here or any vitamin shoppe ever again. Great Job Josh! & Jan. Great way to treat a loyal customer.

Store 001 57th Street New York, Raj, Lilly,Amber & Astor. Excellent customer service received yesterday and every visit I’ve ever made. Friendly knowledgeable and exceeds expectations. Real credit to Vitamin Shoppe…..

Terrible company. Ordered my first order from this company and never received my package. I didn’t even want a refund just my package. Robbed for $48 and change and customer service is terrible. The worst company. I just want my package.

My husband ordered several hundred $ of supplements in November 2022. We noticed in December that some of them seemed to b disintegrating in the bottle.
When we checked the expiry, several were expired in 12/2022 and several others were very close to expiry.
Do not buy from this store. When I wrote to them to return the items, they said they were over 90 day ( they were not) and they could not accept a return.

So I signed up for a reoccurring order with the vitamin Shoppe for our vitamins and some teas that we wanted to try because they were not available at our local store and they gave you a nice discount if you signed up for the subscribe and save. Well, the only time I get on is for those vitamins or if I wanna find a new tea I just received an email stating that my order has been processed and is being shipped and I never got any email prior reminding me of the subscribe and save. I feel like most companies are fully on board now with giving their customers reminders and letting them know hey you have 24 more hours to get this order correct. So I was pretty disappointed that I did not receive any order notice until it was being shipped out! Now the good news is, they said I can take whatever I don’t want back in return it but most people live check to check what about the people who are trying to be healthy and we know how expensive that can be to begin with and they just had $100 order placed on their card and were not properly notified prior to those charges being placed!
Just really bad for business and I hope the vitamin Shoppe fixes that! It is just a simple email reminder the week before the shipment is supposed to go out

This place is a Joke with there insane prices and to top it off they charge you to bag what ever you buy if not you literally have to walk out with everything in your hands. Never again will l shop there !!!!!!!!!!

I emailed the company twice, first time they lost my case of energy drink, second they replaced the shipment with a janky brown box with the cans flying around. To top it off, it wasn't even the correct amount I ordered and it had leaked and became dis formed. I emailed customer service and they said "my products were not damaged." I can not open the cans to even drink as they are so damaged. Customer service hung up on me when I called to address the issue as well.

Loyale Vitamin store shopper and while at ask clerk to bathroom. He stated they were out of order. It seems very odd for a facility that focuses on health to not have place wash hands / other personal. How are the employees functioning. I spend about 120.00 per month in this store but may now turn to GNC as there bathroons are working

Terrible company. Ordered some pre workout powder. Sent it to me all congealed and hard in the tub. Sent photos and asked for my money back. Refused and would only offer a gift card. Now ignoring me after I asked them to use this to send me a replacement item. I have even emailed their CEO Sharon Leite at her email sleite @ vitaminshoppe.com and been ignored.

i know not all locations r the same but staff need better training and even then items are overpriced

This is specifically for the Vitamin Shoppe located at 15131 S LaGrange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60462.
I looked online for Himalaya Amla and Black Castor Oil Argan and Amla. Both products were shown as being available at Vitamin Shoppe stores. I went into the local store in Orland Park, IL to buy them. Almost immediately upon entering the store, a woman asked if she could help me find anything. Unfortunately, she said that Himalaya Amla is no longer carried by Vitamin Shoppe. She suggested that I try a local mom-and-pop store (My Vitality) down the street. She was able to order the other product for me and was kind enough to waive the shipping charges. The lady's name is Colleen S. (on her name tag). She said I would have the item in a few days. She was absolutely wonderful and very nice.
I was really impressed by her desire to help me find what I was looking for, suggest a competitor as a possible source, her willingness to research how to get me what I wanted and putting in an order for me. This is my second visit to this particular Vitamin Shoppe. I am impressed by the level of service offered. The first visit was also rewarding, as the middle aged gentleman who waited on me was very helpful. Unfortunately, the product I wanted was not carried by Vitamin Shoppe. The staff there is top notch.

I love vitamin shop but the website tricked me into doing a survey. It said I would get $100 if I took the survey and after I wasted my time it says I can chose from these magazines that are worth $100. I am like WTH I don’t want magazines I want $100 or a gift card to vitamin shop worth $100. Very disappointed!!!

Placed an order totaling 26 items which were said to be shipped within 48 hours. 72 hours later, 1 received, 7 have shipped and the remaining 18 items still nothing. Stores are low on stock and online is even worse as far as delivering on standards set by themselves. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Shocked to see so many bad reviews. I have always been happy with my order. I was so shocked to find my box on our doorstep just 48 hours after I ordered. All my faves well packaged and in the box. I order supplements from a couple vitamin companies but always return to the Vitamin Shoppe for free shipping and products I love.

I’ve been an auto-ship customer for many months. Every month I receive five cases of Celsius beverages. Last month I received a bad lot. I tried cans from 3/5 cases and all were flat and bad. My husband called customer service to return or exchange only the unopened cases. The agent told him that “we don’t process refunds for buyer’s remorse.” We’ve been a customer for MONTHS for the SAME PRODUCT!! We were told that we couldn’t return unless we drove 1.5 hours to a brick and mortar location. The next day FedEx showed up, unanticipated, to take our return. It’s been over two weeks and no refund. When we called customer service today we were told that they hadn’t received the return and would NOT be processing any refund. I would never recommend doing business with this company!

Vitamin Shoppe for me has one of the best overall brand selection/flavors/specialty items that other supplement shops simply do NOT.

I'm confused by the reviews of people taking out their poor protein powder experiences on the shop that sells them. They are not the manufacturer.

I've not dealt with their customer service line, but all of the workers and cashier's I've dealt with have made my visits a wonderful experience.

BEWARE....HORRIBLE customer service.

Every basic level, front line telephone rep is as rude as can be. When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor I was told that everybody answering the phone is considered a supervisor. That's laughable.
It's almost as if they get rewarded to be A-holes. I called corporate level 2 and got the same bad attitude. I will take 100% of my business to Bodybuilding.com The Vitamin Shoppe has earned a big fat grade F.

Top shop I really like it and it is cheap

I ordered 4 deodorants and 4 bars of soap. They came in 6 shipments over the course of 10 days. Talk about an affront to any sustainability efforts. And yes, they did all come from one location. What a waste of money on their part! And what a responsibility for me to have to watch for that many mailings on my front porch. I will never order from them again.
