Avoid! Purchased a 7k car from here and like many other reviews, an engine management light appeared on the way home. After delving into the 1 star cohort of reviews I had the vehicle inspected independently by a trusted garage who deemed the vehicle "beyond economical repair" due to engine issues that presented when cold. I returned the car and had to put up with 34 days of being ignored and without a car until they refunded me, despite a 14 day law for an agreed refund.
After reading some of the other reviews I feel I'm perhaps one of the lucky ones.
Steer clear!

I went and saw the car, mokka to be specific and really it wasn’t in a good state, the agent I worked with is Paul. I took the car for a test drive and the car started beeping making funny sounds and an engine overheating alert popped so we drove back. We spoke to Paul and he assured us (me and my brother) that the car is yet to be serviced so it will be fine , they will communicate the next day as I was ready to collect it on Wednesday, I left the deposit to secure the car . On Wednesday before 48hrs I told Paul I had a change of heart and he refused to refund then when I went with my dad he said, Greg was at court but he had promised to reach out to us and talk to us and if he was to refund the funds would reflect on Friday , today is Monday and both Paul and Greg have not reached out , atleast the decency to even call and apologise and then let me know that I won’t be getting my money , indeed I had my suspicions after I read the review now I’ve learnt it the hard way , not happy at all , fraudulent people 🙌 , how do they even sleep at night ? It’s sad may the good Lord never give you peace or any success for mistreating people.

people who work at Vision Motor are fraudsters and thieves. Last year I was in st.helens because I was interested in Reno Grand Scenic. It turned out that you couldn't see it because it was in some workshop being repaired. I needed a car after a week. I still didn't have a car, so I gave up. purchase and I asked for a refund of the deposit, they said that they would not refund the deposit, it turned out that the car was already available, but I no longer needed the deposit. To this day, the fraudsters have not returned the car and they have already sold the car to someone else and the financing company is chasing me saying that I have to pay in installments. I do not recommend this company. I recommend it. give a wide berth

Bought a car from the Leeds lot, Jamie was very helpful when it came to choosing the right car and helping with finance! Came away with a Hyundai ix35 a really nice car. Couple of minor problem the car had were dealt with the next day after calling!

Having had a few bad experiences buying a car we were reluctant to buy again. Contacted vision motors told them of my wifes bad experience. We were assured that we would be looked after. Bought a vauxhall astra for my wife without viewing, delivered as promised on the Monday. Developed an issue,car was picked up, courtesy car was left for my wife. Car came back good as new. Special mention to phil for all his help from day one. Would not hesitate to recommend vision motors to anyone looking for a used car. Honest and reliable car dealer. I will be using them for my next vehicle and my wifes, although she is over the moon with hers!! Thanks guys for restoring our faith in used car buying 👍

NEVER EVER EVER buy a car from these plonkers!!!! When I initially arrived to buy a car last year the car park had a load of cars sitting there burnt, when I asked they said it was because a car had an electrical fault and had set fire causing the other cars to set fire too, THIS ALONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG FOR ME!!!! Anyway I was dumb enough to still get a car, i bought one that I only kept for a day as it was already showing problems when driving it home from vision motors. I then after that one stupidly from the same plonkers, this next car had several problems within the first few days, they claimed they fixed which they clearly didn’t as almost a year later I was still having the SAME problems, turns out it was a wiring issue the whole time!!! The car could have set fire or anything! They wouldn't accept taking it back even though the issue had been there since I bought the car!!! Thankfully it was partly on finance and the broker had to take it in and rightfully return my money. I’d also like to mention too, one one occasion on taking the car back for “repairs” they told me to turn up at a certain time on a certain day, when I did however, NOONE WAS THERE, it was myself and a poor lad stood outside in the car park for around half an hour waiting for a staff member to turn up, when I rang them the next day they claimed someone should have been there but must have gone home early, how very professional!!! Please don’t ever bother with this rubbish company you’ll only be wasting your hard earned money. The other reviews will also prove my point too. Another thing I would like to add is, when the car was in for so called “repairs” they lent me car to get to and from work, which they claimed had full MOT and Tax however I was pulled over by the police who said the car was in fact not taxed at all, when I rang the company they claimed it was and took no responsibility. As you can imagine this was a very traumatic experience as I have never been pulled over by the police before.

If I could give less than 1 star I would these people are a joke should not be allowed to trade, they are liars, obnoxious and cheats, my complaint is still ongoing as I got the car through car money, car has still got fault even though they have had it for 2 weeks for the same fault, never got fixed they just used it to run around for themselves so took the car back off them as they put over 125miles on clock using my diesel as well.STEER CLEAR OF THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!

Never buys from these muppets. Bought a cheap run around ford focus and within a day, had an engine light warning come on. Had a busy week at work so didn’t have chance to go back then I had an issue with the brake lights that didn’t work when I put the car lights on. So dangerous to drive and couldn’t drive in the dark - only knew this when an unmarked police car also rear ended me!! Took to a mechanic who then couldn’t get in the bonnet as the lock to open it wasn’t there so clearly they never checked the car over before selling as you can’t access the engine - how do you add water or oil!?!?! Emailed to complain and still no call after 5 days…..all reviews here are the same, poor service and avoiding any responsibility. Shambles and clearly selling vehicles not checked over. Ombudsman complain made and will be ask in for a refund.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Awful company that is run by and employs liars and crooks. My 73-year-old father-in-law purchased a car from this company in October, taking out an expensive loan to do so. The vehicle picked up a puncture 4 days later and we realised there was no locking wheel nut kit in the vehicle so had to pay a Landrover dealer to get a new kit at our own expense. The landrover dealer ran an independent diagnostic on the car and found £3,000 worth of faults with the vehicle, saying it was not roadworthy, faults we were not aware of at point of sale. Car was sent back to Vision who said they would repair. 3 weeks later, no car and just kept getting excuse after excuse on when we would get it back. No courtesy car provided. Under the consumer rights act 2015, the law states you can legally reject a vehicle within 30 days and get a full refund if goods are faulty or have pre-existing faults that were not advised at point of sale. We decided to invoke our legal rights and informed Vision in November. Thus began several weeks backwards and forwards of Vision trying to get out of their legal responsibility and refund. The managing director is a cowardly spineless excuse of a man. He was conveniently out of the office on holiday or at a meeting, every time we made contact. One of his colleagues, Sinead regularly answered our emails to the MD. She was a very nasty piece of work who kept on stringing us along. We finally got a refund of around 90% of the balance in mid-January after waiting nearly 2 months from the refund request date. All this time we were without a vehicle and had no money to buy a replacement, while paying a monthly loan for something we did not have. Vision even decided to keep over £1000 of the remaining balance we were owed for admin fees as well as extended warranties for the vehicle we no longer had, despite the law being very clear the consumer should be returned to the same financial position they were in prior to purchase. We are now having to involve solicitors and go through the courts to recoup our remaining balance. Vision seems to think they are above the law and can do what they want. They are the very definition of a rogue trader and I would urge anyone considering buying a car from these people to do you homework, read the reviews and go elsewhere.

I was scammed by these con artists. I was told a refundable withholding fee of £100 would be taken so they wouldn’t show the car which was at their Leeds garage until I’d seen and decided. If I didn’t want it the money would be returned no problem. Only it wasn’t. And they do tgus all the time to satisfy their scamming little thieving minds.

I saw a Range Rover online and wanted to upgrade my partners car as a push gift, I went to see the vehicle test drove it it looked clean but was showing service engine, they claimed they would take it in for servicing al all that, they inspected and valued my car for 10,000 on the spot and even tho an online company valued same car for 11,500 they were able to convince me to trade it in which I did and left. It took weeks before they were able to process it even though the finance company claimed they had finished from their end. The weekend I was to come pick up the car Omar claimed he was off and when I asked why I couldn’t pick it up in his absence even when all the paperwork had been done he just said it was his sale and his to finalise. Long story short, they picked a date I personally told them I would be away at work and delivered the car to my home picked up the same car they inspected and valued at £10,000 and told my wife what they could pay was £9,000 only and my wife being excited seeing a Range Rover gift parted away with £1,000 to them in my absence. I called them and asked same day and asked them to refund the money I paid for warranty they lied they would refund it and never did till date, on getting the car it wasn’t serviced, the central lock wasn’t working and there was a dent on the back bumper which wasn’t there when I went to see the car cause I did a video of the car the first day I saw it. I drove the car to them at St Helens, saw the manager who gave me a contact of a garage to take the car to in Warrington which I did, the mechanic checked everything and said I should go that he’ll need to speak to the manager at vision motors and get back to me to book an appointment to bring the car in. After leaving the mechanic never picked my calls again till date, I called Omar the sales person who was so sweet when we spoke on phone before the purchase and he was bold to tell me I was disturbing him. So guys if you want to buy a car with peace of mind please and please avoid these lots. I’m also going to report them to auto trader as well.

They never do the promise, once you pay any money or deposit, just like what others said, it is totally a scam, they would not pay you back, and just made story whatever they want. They even don't care any bad comments, since not every one will read the comments before viewing a car, still have someone will suffer.

Avoid this company forever, even all car dealers closed in the world, still do not pay £1 to them, to help less people suffer.

Turned Saturday for test drive car wasn't ready some excuse about gears tried to say they would deliver the car I had not said I was going to buy I wanted a test drive and I had an engineer with me to check it over told me to come back later, after checking the MOT online found it needed new shocks on front new tyres and tracking then read the reviews on here glad I did. I've since learned that they don't have to give a deposit back so a word to the wise don't give one to any garage.

Well where to start wife saw the car on website liked it they said it was all ready to go so went to Leeds to go see it. then for them to say it’s not ready needs MOT and wanted to refurbish the wheels went week after there was another problem with it so went to a specialist after we paid a £10.000 deposit 3 months later we recieved the car wheels not refurbished mot failed on brakes apparently had brakes done week later needed new brakes work what was done at specialist apparently cost them over £3000 fought for the receipts to finally get them that totally about £400 all the work he said needed has not been done absolute appalling company I would recommend staying well clear of this firm

Absolute joke of car dealership.
Put a deposit on a 330d m-sport.
Viewed the car and said it wants a timing chain, they rang me back up and said there garage had identified it wanted its turbos rebuilt.
So had a 400 deposit down on the car, Took 2 weeks for them too complete the turbos.
They rang me up on a Thursday 3 weeks after initial deposit (29.12.2023) to then say the next day the car wasn't ready.
Then the following Monday I'd had enough, and demanded an answer as too why the car had taken 4 weeks to be ready, they then informed me the timing chain needed doing and demanded more money off me to cover the costs, after there garage had misdiagnosed the car and still was the issue I'd said the day I viewed the car.
I asked for a refund and still to this date havent received the 400 deposit back.
Absolute set of cowboys.
Omar doesn't have a clue about cars at all so don't trust a word he says.
And Greg and stu are a set of wetwipes only interested in mugging people off with no customer care at all.
Will be looking at small claims court to recover money lost.
Don't buy the bmw with reg AD15 TKT it's f***cked.

Bought a vehicle from these tramps with a different engine to what’s on the logbook, the car should have failed the MOT with the problems it had but it passed! Because they have a dodgy car wash/garage at the side ‘fixing’ cars and badly ‘fixed’ at that.
I’ll see you in court soon and I’ll be sure to tell them EVERYTHING!

Let me just start by saying! if i could give no stars for this cowboy company then i would have, i went to look at a car after paying £100 holding deposit (which i was assured i would receive back as long as i turned up and viewed the car) i went and viewed the car and was not happy with the condition it was in, i went back the next day because they assured me that the issues would be fixed (they weren't) i asked for my deposit to be refunded and was assured that it would be.
After a number of phone calls assuring me that the deposit had been processed i have now been informed that my deposit will not, now be refunded because the salesman said that i was happy with the car but had decided that i didn't want it now, which was not the case.
Please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere when viewing vehicles, a lot of the cars on they're site are not even ready to go! flat tyres is a sure sign that these vehicles have been there for a good while, along with other issues you will find when you view these cars.

We bought a Lexus when was bought after taking it home we realised the mileage they had put online was the complete opposite to what was on the veichle we hadn’t even been driving the car for more than one day and we could smell diesel fumes through the radiators they said that this wasn’t the case when it clearly was we had a newborn baby at this stage and we only realised after the fumes could of really affected him. Vision motors refused to give a refund and stated we wasn’t aloud any money back numerous times we rang the haydock store and numerous times we was told we would get a phone call back that phone call never happened after going down and refusing to move unless money wasn’t refunded and kicking off on the phone going to the ombudsman and nearly to court they agreed to refund the money 28 days later the veichle cost £2570 but they stated as they give us a courtesy car which was a load of rubbish too they refused to give the full amount back and only refunded £2000 absolute shocking company KEEP AWAY!!!!

Pressured me to test drive a car up and down the motorway without showing proof of tax and without providing dealer plates. Almost certainly wasn't taxed even though they assured me it was. Then they took a "refundable" deposit in order to take it off sale. I was very clear that I was 50/50 on it and had another one to look at later the same day. They said this was no problem. However they then refused to return the deposit because they claimed they had prepped and serviced the car by the next morning. Even though I hadn't requested this and even though I had never confirmed to them that I definitely wanted it. In hindsight it felt like a well rehearsed con trick of theirs. I should have known better. But perhaps I had a lucky escape. I dread to think what might have happened if I had actually bought it. You try to support local dealers instead of funnelling even more money to the car supermarkets. But cowboys like this spoil it for all the small businesses trying to make an honest living. One star review is one star too many.
