We'd also like to explain why our listing moderation process exists. It's there to protect sellers as much as buyers. Before a listing can go live, we verify that it contains all of the information required and meets our listing standards. If a ticket listing is inaccurate or incomplete, the buyer is much more likely to win in the event of a dispute - which are generally out of our own control. By thoroughly checking listings before they're published, we help ensure sellers are in the strongest possible position should any post-sale query arise and we're always available if you need help to set up your listing correctly.

Having reviewed your account, we can see that your listing wasn't approved because the tickets were uploaded in a file format that we aren't able to accept for e-tickets. We know this can be frustrating, but these checks are in place to help protect sellers. We require the original ticket file, rather than screenshots or copied images, as this helps ensure the ticket remains in a format that can be reliably scanned at the venue. Accepting lower-quality files could increase the risk of entry issues for the buyer, which in turn could leave a seller at a disadvantage in the event of a dispute.

Hi Anna,

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear you found the listing process frustrating.

To help verify tickets, we ask sellers to provide their original order confirmation. In most cases this can be done by forwarding the confirmation email to the unique address provided during the listing process. If that's not possible, or you're unable to forward the email successfully, there's also the option to upload a PDF of the confirmation instead. The "Continue" button only becomes available once this verification step has been completed successfully.

We're also sorry you felt it was difficult to contact us. While we don't offer phone support, every FAQ page includes a link at the bottom to submit a support request directly to our customer support team.

Regarding PayPal, Twickets doesn't charge sellers a fee. If you choose to receive payment via PayPal, any seller fees are applied under PayPal's own policies, not by Twickets. These fees are highlighted throughout the listing journey and confirmed again in our emails, so sellers can make an informed choice before listing.

The six-week payment hold you experienced is also managed by PayPal rather than Twickets. Our understanding is that this can occur on an account's first transaction while PayPal completes its own verification processes. As this is determined entirely by PayPal, we'd recommend contacting them directly, as they may be able to advise whether there are steps available to complete verification and release funds sooner.
