The finished product was everything I had hoped for and more. I have a son, 44 years old with Down Syndrome, who is THE biggest Simpsons fan in the world. This was his favorite Christmas present having himself, his sister and her husband turned into Simpsons characters at Moe's Tavern. When he opened it he kissed it and hugged it. 😀

Turned yellow was such a great experience because they not only deliver a super fun product, but timely and they show their work. We got a video of the whole process of turning my 19 year old, his gf and his orange cat into Simpsons characters. Sooo fun. So professional, and in the age of AI, real work.

Would never use this company again! Ordered an illustration and paid for delivery of a horizontal poster. Ordered in good time for Christmas delivery 28-11-25. According to their website, delivery would be 10-14 days. Hadn’t heard anything regarding shipping after 2 weeks, so emailed to enquiry on ETA. Took a week for a reply and I was sent a tracking link. The link informed me that the parcel was at a hub from the 10-12 but hadn’t moved from there for 2 weeks. I emailed again, twice where I was informed there was a delay and now my print wouldn’t arrive until 20-1-26! I requested a refund as this was a Christmas themed item and had been intended as a Christmas gift. I incurred the extra cost of downloading the original print (the pdf they sent me wouldn’t work so had to do it from screenshot!) I was told I couldn’t claim a refund until 5 days after the item was due to be delivered. Based on my original order date of 28-11-25, the item was long overdue and looks like it had been lost in transit. I received a further notification that the item had been successfully shipped. This was on 23-12-25 after numerous requests for refund. I am not asking for a full refund. I am prepared to pay for the original illustration (£60)but I think I am entitled to a refund for the print and delivery fees (£38) as the item was never received and now it is not required. Despite numerous requests for a refund, this company has been completely unhelpful and what could have been a lovely present turned into stress and expense. I have had to raise a dispute through my bank for the refund. Not at all impressed

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas and it was such a hit! The process was easy, everyone replied quickly to emails and the artists were able to quickly edit the illustrations when asked. It arrived in time for Christmas.

The most frustrating process I have ever been through in ordering through any company in my entire life.
What their website advertises is NOT what I experienced. Aside from them not being able to figure out how to process the credit card used and taking days to tell me, the correspondence with them in letting me know the status of my order was atrocious.
Their mistake with the card at the beginning was NOT refunded, so I placed a new order and downloaded the Shop app as they instruct you to. The Shop app NEVER updated on the status of my order, it just said "waiting for details" the entire time.
The first draft of my picture was awful, but the second draft I accepted.
After this, I received terrible correspondence with the company on the status of my order.
It wasn't until maybe 4 days before Christmas that someone messaged me with a Purolator tracking number to see where my order was.
The order arrived on Christmas Eve, even though I paid for express in all areas ahead of time so it arrived sooner.
The final product (a picture of my wife and myself on cavas) is lovely, but the entirety of the process was an absolute JOKE to deal with and I will never order from Turned Yellow again due to the lack of truth behind their advertising.

Our grandson love his Christmas gift. Thank you turned yellow for creating a long lasting memory.

While I do like the artwork created by TurnedYellow for one of my projects, the other project fell quite short. I paid the extra fees for full body and full animal, but the original artwork used almost stock figures for the body. The mug of the artwork I received was printed such that the top and the bottom of the artwork were cut off. Lastly, the image that was printed on the shirt I received was small(ish) and seemed like lower quality.

This is a scam, I received a note saying the picture I uploaded included more people and would increase the price by double.

Within two hours I responded to cancel my order and refund my money.

Today I received a note saying sorry it’s too late to cancel.

Run from these people!

This company uses AI to make the art and to handle all customer relations. The “art” that was rendered was not recognizable and I tried multiple times to have them make edits but they were nothing more than AI renditions. No actual person is involved. Customer service is equally as frustrating. Wouldn’t issue a refund despite never being able to deliver a remotely reasonable product.

Submitted several pictures via cell but the interface was hardly compatible. They advertise free revisions. Tried to revise and they said it cost $10 because I hadn’t included notes in the original submission. I replicated another submission and there was still no area visible to put notes. They initially told me too bad, but then said they would do the revision free of cost because of a misunderstanding. I waited several days for another picture and only one of the revisions was applied—freckles on the kid. When I pointed out that none of the other revisions have been done they said yeah we told you that was gonna happen. They did not. I’ve requested a refund, but they refuse to do it. Expensive and incredibly frustrating. The picture is nothing like the family looks. I plan to file a claim with my credit card company.

I put in an order on the Turned Yellow website which malfunctioned several times during the process causing me to have to start over each time. After the order finally went through I received an email days later saying the prices on the site were wrong and they needed to charge me more. I noticed the order was incorrect anyway so I replied stating exactly what I wanted and their corrected price was fine. Couple days go by and no response so I followed up…and then a couple more days go by but still no response. So I put in a contact request from the website and still nothing. Then I tried the live chat and it’s just a bot with no useful information whatsoever and no way to chat with a person. Additionally the website has no phone number and the fake live chat bot refused to provide a contact number as well. They had no problem taking my money though. They also refused to refund me and also refused to send the merchandise so I disputed the transaction with my bank and reported to the company to several authorities.

Do not use this company. I ordered first print and it was great. They copied the photo I sent. Encouraged I sent another photo to use the print as a gift. The draft came and it was nothing like the photo I sent. I asked for them to copy the original photo and they asked for $8 dollars to make the changes. There were no changes to be be made other than to follow my initial photo. I asked for a refund and they have ghosted me.

I asked for 7 or 8 alterations-it never got close. Finally just had them send the canvas because they just couldn't get it right and it wouldn't be here by Xmas anyhow. Save your money-I paid over 100 dollars for a present I will never give. Maybe I can use it as a painting canvas. Update: I received it and threw it in the trash.

very confusing and expensive. i ordered and selected options and then when checkedout it wasnt even right and payed a bunch of money for something that i didnt order or according to them i ordered but isnt what i selected either way. feels like just got screwed so frustrating honestly

I have ordered 3 times from Turned Yellow and have not been disappointed. The artists do amazing work. I strongly recommend them for a unique and fun gift. I can't wait to order again.
