Easy process and good communication when needing edits. Pictures turn out amazing! So amazing I have 7 of them and will continue to get more as my family grows. Highly recommend.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! The revisions are not free, as advertised. I tried to let them know what I wanted changed after they sent me the first draft and they stated they would only do the changes for $15.00 more! Bunch of crooks, especially since I paid top price already for 4 people, 2 dogs and full bodies. Truly disgusted with this site. AGAIN DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, THEY ARE SCAM “ARTISTS” (though it’s all really just digital) AND DO NOT PUT NEARLY AS MUCH DETAIL AS THE PICTURES THEY ADVERTISE WITH!

This company did amazing!!! My son grew up on The Simpsons. The picture turned out wonderful!!! He loved it!!! Great quality and affordable too. I'm thourouly impressed!

A little confusing to pick a size portrait. It seemed like there were more charges and higher price than I thought. The mug was so not good. The image was stretched & distorted so it doesn’t look great. But the printed & framed image was fine. I had asked if somewhere they could have put a “happy 55th birthday” but that never happened. I also felt rushed to approve the proof. Shipping was fast though.

The entire process of using turned Yellow to create a unique gift for my Simpsons obsessed son in law was very simple. They understood the brief perfectly. We were extremely happy.

The photo turned out good. My issue was the ordering process. I clearly tried to order a canvas picture frame with a specific size. I also wrote that I would like a bigger size and would pay extra for that in the notes. This is what I selected and thought I was paying for. During the last stage of ordering there was an option to have a free digital copy and of course I selected yes not knowing this is how they screwed me. Even though my order was for a canvas picture frame of a certain size and when I selected the free digital option, I only got that. I emailed them several times after I waited for my cans as to arrive and no canvas. They kept focusing on me selecting the free digital copy with my order. I kept emailing and trying to resolve this issue but they were not trying to fix my issue. I ended up paying $150 for just a digital copy of the picture and they said that I have to place another order and pay more to now get that picture on a canvas frame. In my opinion this is fraud and I just want my money back. I couldn’t even download and save the picture to my phone. From my experience I will suggest not to do business with this company and if you do, do not select anything free they have to offer or anything that says digital copy or if you want your item faster. This is when the deception comes.

I requested a portrait from Turned Yellow based on photos I provided. The characters in the portrait looked nothing like the subjects of the photos. I requested changes. The amended work looked nothing like the subjects of the photos. I politely responded that while I appreciated the work, and would pay for the labor, I did not want to the print I ordered. The company responded by telling me that was too bad since they already sent the unapproved draft to the printing agent. Do not use this service.

I used turned yellow in 2019 for a wedding picture with my hisband and 2 kids and at that time they were fast to respond and prompt with any changes i wanted made with no issues whatsoever. At that time I said I would definitely use them again, however this time around has been a very different, difficult and negative experience. I wanted a picture of my brother-in-law, his dog and his car outside the Simpson's house. In the original order form it asks how many people including pets? (So, 2. A man and a dog in this case), there was no disclaimer or option on adding vehicles. When I stated what I wanted they said the addition of the car would be $8. I thought that was arbitrary but also not much extra so I agreed. After a week of them allegedly repeatedly sending an invoice that I never received and running out of time to gift my brother-in-law for his 40th, I got frustrated and asked for a refund which they refused. I have in fact paid at least for my brother-in-law and his dog but haven't received that either. No additional invoice for the car and no picture of what I did pay for nor a refund. They even refused to answer my question on how there is an option to add a car when making the original order (for future reference) and they seem to be making up bills and rules as they go along. They also take at least 24 hours to respond to 1 message with no picture or resolution in sight. As I said in the title.. they used to be fantastic but I would steer well clear of them now!

I’m glad they messaged me to ask about the picture and for more details. It made the picture come out perfect.

I cannot get over the attention to detail this company took to make my commission piece. They even went above and beyond and did things that I didn't even ask for that look incredible. This is my second time ordering from them and it definitely won't be the last. Highly recommend getting a piece done by them. You won't regret it 😊

It may have taken a little while to arrive, (not your fault) but the recipient was blown away by the portrait. You company did a phenomenal job. Thanks for taking on the project.

Awful experience with the artist! Took over 6 edits. Did not come in time-Ordered in November for a Christmas present and it didn't even arrive til almost new years!!!! Will not recommend and will not purchase again

Y'all nailed it! I sent in my pictures and filled out some brief descriptions and within a couple of days I was sent a proof to approve. My wife and son were BLOWN AWAY! The likenesses and detail were so awesome that we ordered another for my son to have for his own!

I don't know what prompted the add to come up on my Facebook, but I'm glad it did. It was the perfect gift for my nephew and his girlfriend! It turned out absolutely perfect the first time, no editing needed. And now my husband wants one done with our family! Thank you so much! I highly recommend

Of course when you see ads like this on social, you fear the worst, but Turned Yellow is real, has artists behind it, and is not a foreign or domestic scam. I bought two files from the company to surprise my hubby and friends. They laughed hysterically, and the images were a hit! Try it, you'll love it. I kept the files, printed 8x10s at Walgreens and framed them as gifts. Perfect gift!!

When I first saw the advertisement, I laughed and asked myself, who would want their family to resemble the Simpsons? Then I wondered what I would look like as a Simpsons character, and that made me laugh even harder. So, I decided to try it as a small holiday gift for my wife and kids. Perhaps I would get a mug or a small picture of the family as a gag gift. But as I started selecting pictures of family, then added pets, then a beloved location, I got the idea of making this a large canvas to be hung in our family room. The old family portrait was over ten years old; the kids had grown a lot. It was very traditional and boring, and did not include pets or a special location. Once I shared my ideas with the artists at Turned Yellow, they created a draft of my vision that was almost exactly what I wanted. They encouraged modifications and changes to my original idea until I got exactly what I wanted. When I saw the final product, I laughed, I cheered, and I knew it was perfect. I didn’t tell anyone in the family about it. At our holiday celebration, I gave them framed copies of the picture and a puzzle of the portrait. Everyone loved it. They were surprised, shocked, and excited about the gift and couldn’t wait to begin building the puzzle. Since then, we have added a large canvas portrait of my family, including pets, on the main wall in our family room. Guests love looking at it and think it is brilliant. I would highly recommend the artists at Turned Yellow to create a unique, timeless, and captivating portrayal.
