We like Traveltime insurance as we have medical conditions and they don’t charge the earth for our cover, meaning we can still holiday abroad. So far we haven’t needed to make a claim so can’t comment on the processes. Our multi trip cover is nearing renewal and so far traveltime are coming up as our best option for the 3rd year running

Good competitive prices. I have used TravelTime Travel Insurance for all of our annual holidays since 2021

I have arranged insurance through travel time a few times (family annual policy for myself, wife and children as well as single policies for my brother and elderly mother).

The prices are very competitive and are a UK based company which adds value, for me.

I have not claimed but find the prices excellent and like to support UK companies where possible.

Omg! Where do I start!! These people (TravelTime insurance, IMG, underwritten by AWP P&C SA) are incompetent and unprofessional.

I have a claim outstanding for a cancelled holiday due to none preexisting medical issue. Total of £571.73.

Also a valid complaint ongoing due to extremely poor customer service.

You never get one person dealing with your claim. Managers do not call you back. Never anyone senior to speak to.

You have until 9th Jan 2025 to resolve my complaint and claim. If not, I'm contacting the Financial Ombudsmen.

Never have I experienced such dismal service.

Complaint continuation. Travel Time insurance.

Today, 23rd Dec, I called the claims line (14:35pm) as i noticed my claim had been closed on the IMG online system.

The operator sounded disinterested and unable to put me through to a line manager or senior person. She said all she could do was to put a task to the claims handler.

The operator told me that I was paid out on the 2nd Oct!! Wrong! It was date of my claim submission. Mistake after mistake.

Then the operator went on to say the £75 was for the claim!! What!! It's compensation for my complaint!! As of present time, I have not received the £75 into my bank account.

What about my £571.73 holiday cancellation claim? Valid medical reason, all documentation provided?! Not preexisting issue!
No excess due as paid an excess waiver !!

It looks like the claims handler has seen the £75 complaint compensation payment and closed my whole claim!!

I'm absolutely frustrated by this predicament.

The complaint handler said on 18th Dec email that he was marking my claim as a priority. This gentleman, who dealt with my complaint, was extremely thorough and admitted that I haven't received the service I should have. He's the only one who seems to have grasped the situation. I thank him for his investigation.

If I don't have a conclusion to my claim by 5pm on 9th January 2025, I'll be contacting the Financial Ombudsmen.

Absolutely avoid this company. I've had travel insurance for 30+ years, never claimed. Used this firm and couldn't travel due to a health issue. They outsource their claim handling to imglobal. Awful experience. Once you provide all the required docs they just keep asking for more and more. Both I and my GP have been worn down which I suspect is exactly their tactic

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! They have failed to cover expenses for a claim, citing small print clauses that exempt them from paying anything. Honestly, it was pointless having this insurance. Avoid and pay the extra to get piece of mind with a better company that will actually pay out on reasonable claims.

All great until you need to make a claim. Their claims company actually fear mongers and tells lies in their claim forms in attempt to scare you out of making legitimate claims. They base this on assuming people know nothing about technology and telling them that devices are capable of things they aren't. Furthermore, they suggest that most claims are fraud when they are not.
So most people putting in legit claims will likely stop and be afraid to because of the literal lies on their claims forms. It's disgusting.

Travel time travel insurance is so easy to use when filling out the forms. I have been using their services for the last four years and find them very competitive, especially as I always take out their annual multiple trip cover. I have a few medical issues and they cover these which is really reassuring.

Got a very competitive quote and then policy from TravelTime. The website is intuitive and straightforward to use, the level of cover is great and knowing you're supporting a UK company is just icing on the cake. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I really hope I don't need to speak to you again before or during my trip, TravelTime, but if I do, I know I'll be in good hands.

I went to Croatia for one week and stupidly left my Apple AirPods at my sunbed at the Hotel beach. This was on my last day before returning. Not to worry I thought, I have read many good reviews for this company hence why i used them for my holiday insurance. Made my claim, fairly straightforward i thought as there really wasn't many circumstances just simply lost them. Stupid of me but hey, that's what insurance is for, right? WRONG. I have been asked to jump through hoops and explain this again and again, emails not always answered. Did speak to Margo who was pleasant and assured me it was just procedure and would be ok. I think she was just being nice to get rid of me. Today, more than a week later i have been bumped onto another company, Bastian Davies Group and have had to provide all the details again including proof of purchase which i had already supplied to Traveltime or IMG Global, lost track of different names involved. Been warned that ware and tare would be involved and the excess. I expect to pay the excess but it seems to be implying that both travellers. myself and partner would have to pay the excess for the item although it is mine. Surely you don't have to take out an insurance each? who knows?? I think by the time they have taken two excesses and ware and tare i will be paying them for them. lol .. sorry It's turned into a bit of a rant but the point is be very careful as if the unexpected does happen you are not necessarily going to get the support you expect. The doors close in your face. forget defacto, ratings in future i will either go with a big name company or not bother. At the very least this is terrible customer service, I think it took minutes for them to take payment for the insurance but now i am spending a lot of my time battling to get the service i have paid for.

Very personable and regular contact from the owner is more refreshing than dealing with a multi million faceless entity
