Very easy booking process and extremely responsive customer service — highly recommended. I booked two separate train journeys through them. For the first one, the original train was cancelled, and they contacted me very quickly to offer seats on the next available departure the same day. Once I confirmed, the booking was processed almost immediately. The second booking went perfectly smoothly from start to finish.

I organised train from X'ian to Beijing through China highlights service. There was an issue over a double payment but they sorted it super quick.
They also explained how the train ticket system works in China and the whole process was made very easy. I would recommend for sure.

The train is cleaned. It was not full with many empty seats so one passenger from second class decided to occupy one of the empty seats. The announcement in English is clear. We are very happy with our experience riding the train.

Tout a parfaitement fonctionné. J’ai commandé par Highlights les billets en décembre pour mon voyage en Chine en Avril. Le site m’a envoyé les billets 15 jours avant les départs prévus et je n’ai eu aucun souci en Chine pour entrer en gare avec mon passeport et trouver mon train. Je recommande le site car les trains étaient tous complets et j’étais bien contente d’avoir les billets aux horaires qui m’intéressaient

I booked a train with soft sleeper with them and everything was excellent. They helped me to understand the difference between solutions and answer very quickly every question. Also the assistance with WhatsApp was quick and perfect.

We started to arrange our train trips in China with this company several months before we travelled. It was easier to provide the preferred dates, train numbers and times and they quickly replied, providing information about the timeline and overall booking process. After tickets were released for sale, they were very efficient in keeping in touch and when our first choices of travel times were not available, they provided completely satisfactory, viable alternatives. The trick is to not be too tight with your travel arrangements on the day, giving yourself some room to move when first options aren't possible. Fortunately, there were multiple trains running every day from all the cities we visited. After confirmation by us of the alternative travel option, we received the train e-ticket number, coach number and seat numbers very quickly. Would not hesitate to use this service again on our next trip to China.
