Simply put dont go, there was a time this was a place for bargains no more its cheaper to shop anywhere else there is no stock half the time looks as if its closing down in some areas, customer service is so bad they simply do not care, that said though some staff are bad and rude not all of them its the company that does not care, so dont bother.

I went to Liskeard branch last week Never Again!
Staff were rude and unhelpful only 1 till working with a long queue when I got to the till the assistant had a face like thunder and was also rude huffing and puffing.

went to trago for a nice day out. been plenty of times but havent since being diagnosed with coeliac disease! wasnt worried however as Trago has 8 different places to eat at!!! had a great time in the main shop but got hungry. after asking around for 30 minutes, was absolutely appalled to find out the only gluten free options were jacket potato and salad (neither of which i like, regardless disappointing!) my heart sunk. in these 8 different food places, all were using the same fryer for all food!?!? madness!!! Trago seem to have no problem catering for vegan/vegetarian though, doubt they are in the same fryer :/

was forced to eat foods with gluten in, leading to a terrible time after with stomach ache. very upset to see one of my favourite shopping places wont cater for my dietary needs, thought trago was better than that!

I purchased an electrical item (A leaf sucker/blower machine) worth £34.99 from the Merthyr tydfil store on July 23/2020. Anyway eight days later it developed a terminal fault, I packaged it up and returned it on 01/07/2020. I have returned a faulty rug about 12 months previously and had exactly the same trouble, they were steering me towards a credit note, but I knew I was entitled to a full money refund, I am a retired police DCI, and tend to read a lot into law, and know consumer law, and it's a good idea to read the Uk's 2015 consumer rights laws. Anyway going back to my returning the electrical item today. The staff at the returns desk asked me what was the fault and I told them that it had been smelling of smoke and just went dead, I said I replaced the 13 amp plug fuse, he then made a comment that I had tampered with the item, I immediately got my back up at that statement and told this young man that I did that as this is quite normal to replace the plug fuse if something goes dead, to me this was an excuse and a ploy to not give me a cash refund, I read the 2015 consumer act to the five people at the desk and I told them to read it themselves, I say to the owner of this shameful company to obey by the law and STOP fleecing the consumer, just remember, if ANY product is faulty or not fit for purpose, or not as discribed and weather you purchased it in store or online then you returned the product and TELL them you want a full CASH refund. SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR.

A fun unique shopping experience with lots of character and charm. Have been going to liskeard and newton abbot for years. Great for all the family.

Visited the Merthyr Tydfil store today,one way system not being adhered to,when I finally went to the checkout spotted the size of queue unbalevable,not anough staff on tills,had to put items back on shelves,not a good experience😠

Sells absolute rubbish. Staff are miserable. Food outlets sell inedible garbage. The Liskeard branch should never have got planning permission as it causes many of the accidents on the road it is situated. Knowing Robertson's (the owner) numerous run ins with any authority it probably never did! Riverbank is infested with rats. Avoid at all costs.

Newton abbot trago, if I need it they always have it.

Just visited Trago Mills Falmouth and have had fabulous support and service from the member of staff. My husband is not the most practical of men but with the guidance provided we are now on the way up the a30 with an egg chair on the roof rack! We didn't get your name but thank you!

Recently visited Liskeard trago Mills with my husband, while the rest of the world are social distancing would somebody kindly tell the staff there’s a world wide pandemic going on as the biggest problem we found was the constant close encounters with the staff, I really feel like more training with social distancing is needed

What a joke of a store. Single parent not allowed in because his one year old is under 16 despite having to carry him. Then have the audacity to blame it on Covid 19 when we are allowed in any other normal store. Shame on you Trago shame on you.

Visited Falmouth Trago a few days ago, excellent signals and arrows pointing the public in the right direction during the Covid-19 crisis, much better than a lot of garden centres etc where you feel at risk.

Went to look for a fridge today, got in the que and distanced myself as directed by the lines on the floor only to be told by the security guard to remove myself from the que because I wouldn't be allowed in because I had children! No children under 16 are permitted under new covid 19 rules! This is discrimination against parents who have no childcare, single parents or parents with children who have disabilities! How is this allowed to happen? Disgraceful! I will never shop here again.

Fantastic service from John in trago Mills Merthyr ! Our sofa has been stuck in warehouse most of lockdown , so as soon as shop was due to open he rang & even though they were unable to deliver , he said we could collect , so I arranged for a man with a van , John was so helpful in accommodating our pick up , even though I’d been so disappointed I’d had to wait for my sofa , we are thrilled with it now & couldn't fault the service !! Thanks again John !!!

Trago 2 wheels Newton Abbot,
They were to supply and fit a new engine to my son’s motorcycle that we brought from them brand new last year ( less than a year old. Delivered the bike and agreed work on Jan 14th.
After many false starts in getting them to actually start work on the bike, we were given every excuse under the sun...
The bike was done and we went to collect on Feb 21st 😔
My son soon noticed a awful vibration noise coming from the bike , I had a quick look and noticed that they had failed to secure all the electrical/ brake cables to the correct mounted place. Took the bike back. They corrected this and away we went. That night the bike started vibrating again and all the power went. Again took the bike back , this time they discovered that the exhaust was not filled right on its brackets 😔😔😔
And as for the loss of total power say that’s not there problem !!!!!!!
I am currently in talks with a Trago management and hope to get a positive outcome will update as and when

Bought a large hallway carpet in January from Liskeard branch, the staff in the carpet department were fantastic managed to save money as they also had a sale on. Good choice of carpets will be using them again. 👍

Bought a take away portion of chips in Merthyr trago and they were totally inedible.I took them back and demanded a refund which I was given. l have since seen a number of complaints on Facebook.

This week I had occasion to help a neighbour to upgrade their kitchen seeing that Trago Mills in Falmouth were agents for the excellent English Rose kitchen range we duly made an appointment to see the Kitchen Expert who was available at 0900 on Tuesday 28th Jan . Whilst we arrived a few minutes past nine, there was no sign of our proposed host . When he eventually turned up he was angry and rude, criticising his manager for making the appointment at all ...when we sat down to discuss our needs ...which amounted to a 600cm drawer unit and a quantity of eighteen shaker doors ...he smart-mouthed our attempts to convey our needs to a point where as the result of his attitude I eventually felt compelled to leave the area to avoid a head-on conflict. In summary I have never felt so discounted and humiliated when purchasing items before... So far despite his assurance that he would contact us to advise prices,we have heard nothing ......In direct contrast I later visited the Carpet and Lino department, where the service given by them was superb and has of course resulted in a substantial purchase.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. The customer service is absolutely appalling!!!! We have just visited the Merthyr shop and I will never ever visit again. Downright rude and incapable staff, who quite frankly should NOT be working with the public. Disgusting people who I have ever had the misfortune to come across.

What a disgrace!
Went in there with my wife and we were fully researched and prepared to spend around £2000 on a kitchen the wife liked (not a large kitchen) had the exact unit selection and measurements...and bank card ready.
Was told by the person on the PC at the kitchen dept (and felt quite awkward when he intimated that we were disturbing him) that we would have to make an appointment. He reached for the appointment book and quickly asked would a week next Thursday be good for you? !!! But I said I’m trying to tell you that I don’t need an appointment thanks (I am an ex kitchen fitter) I just wish to price up some units and pay for them. The person you wish to speak to is busy until a week next thurs ...And anyway he said, we have run out of price lists and are awaiting them from our printers ????
To which he returned to his vital work on his PC !
I have tried in vain to price and purchase these units online. But I’m afraid Trago Mills must be employing road diggers to run their web (no disrespect to road diggers....salt of the earth. But each to his own as they say) The website is also not able to allow you to make an appointment so there was no alternative than to make the long journey to the store.
To make matters worse a manager (I assume because of white shirt and tie) approached the guy playing solitaire on his PC. My wife asked him could he help us to pay for our kitchen units? Yep sure he said just a couple minutes!
Whilst we had our backs turned we could see him striding back to his office!!!
We were totally ignored! totally humiliated! And were made to feel like we were actually begging for someone to take our money off us.
I am 67 years of age and hand on heart have NEVER witnessed customer service of such a disgrace.
How on earth does Trago Mills think they will be able to sustain their business with such a shockingly low level of respect to customers, along with a rather comical online experience.
Your competitors are circling and have sensed some easy pickings. To be quite honest you thoroughly deserve to lose income if this is the norm (it seems to be as since my experience lots of family and friends have said that I should have told them I was going to Trago Mills and they would have warned me....senior management should be ashamed! Directors should be immediately removed! )
