I purchased a ingersoll watch as a special birthday present but when it arrived the watch looked lovely but I couldn't change the time so I took it back to the shop thinking I could exchange it for another but was told they would refund me and I would have to reorder which I reluctantly I had to do so this left me 10 days to get refund and a replacement sent in time for a special birthday well the replacement arrived and I opened it up to a disappointing surprise of a ladies Gucci bracelet no receipt or returns included so I angrily contacted the store and it seemed they didn't care and told me to again return it but I told them it's your problem so send a courier to collect and replaced but so far nothing,I'm angry I had nothing to give at the 70th birthday party or the useless tkmaxx did give a toss even though the Gucci bracelet cost £300 and the watch £100 so I'm disgusted by how I was treated and never again will I order from the Norwich store

I order from TJ Maxx online all the time. I like it because it's really easy to find what's available in my size. If I don't like it, I can return it to my local store, don't have to ship it back. And shipping is super fast.

Twice in all the years I've been ordering from them, the items that were in the packages were different than what they said they were (for example, I ordered a top, and the package said "top," but contained the matching pants). I had no problem returning them, and customer service was very helpful

I like to shop there, you can find a lot of good stuff on sale, it is really convenient.

TJX Rewards Master Card coerced me to sign up for a credit card when I was checking out - they offered a discount on my large purchase. In the subsequent months they proceeded to make it impossible for me to access the account online due to a horrible verification process. They had me do a video of my face and scan my ID. It never worked. They stated multiple times that they would verify my account with a letter, it never came. I demanded the account be closed, but they were charging me $34 on a $0 balance. I wanted to know what that charge was for before I paid it. They refused to tell me anything because I couldn't pass their verification process. They had ALL of my personal information and they were more than happy to take my payment WITHOUT being able to tell me what it was for. After a few hours of trying to resolve this, I closed the account but they demanded payment on the bogus fees and interest charges.

It seems to me that TJX rewards bad credit behavior. I had a $8000 credit and it waw almost maxed out due to a small business startup. I recently paid off a big chunk of $6000. Instead of encouraging me to keep paying down the card, they dropped my credit limit to $1900 and hit my credit because I am almost maxed out. This type of credit decisions are wrong and it hurts their reputation. I wish I never had opened an account with them. If I close the account it will hurt my credit even more. Too bad! These financial institutions have too much control and can easily damage or destroy people's credits.

It’s hit or miss as we all know but the store seems to be understaffed in Johnson City. Way too many people walking around with headphones on but no one to help check out the super long line of people.

I use to work here so my opinions may be different but trying to be non bias i can tell the managers at least at the saginaw michigan tj max are very on customers service. I loved this store and it’s so well organized and kept up with in every department and never had any issues with the store itself. I do believe it’s a great store to shop at!

I made a purchase online at TJMaxx.com. The form of payment I used was Paypal. I opted to keep part of the purchase and to return the rest to a store for a refund of $70. After waiting in line for more than 10 minutes, I was told that because I used PayPal to make the purchase, I could ONLY be issued a Gift Card/Merchandise Credit for the $70 return. When I pushed back, they attempted to contact the Manager several times who couldn't be found. I was then informed that my only option to get a Refund back to my card was to box up the purchase (at my own expense) and mail the Return to TJMaxx. This whole process is amazingly inconvenient for me, but even worse, is that it comes across as deceitful as TJMaxx isn't upfront about not making store refunds available if PayPal is used to make an online purchase and forcing customers to accept Gift Cards, thus, ensuring them a coerced purchase. I called TJMaxx Customer Service and waited on hold for more than 15 minutes for the CS Representative to return to the call. When she returned, she informed me that I could drop off my return at FedEx and that I would be charged for the cost of the Return. However, I could then call TJ Maxx AGAIN and request a refund for the shipping. I used to LOVE shopping at TJMaxx. Now, no matter how good the deals they have, I won't shop there anymore due to their p*ss poor customer service and deceitful online return policy.

The two people at the registers were very mean. They were closing the store early and wanted us gone. They closed the jewelry department right in front of us. That's the store here in Abilene TX.

Being a petite it’s very hard to find pants to fit. But several women that I asked, that are petite, said they bought their pants at TJ Maxx. I was pleasantly surprised that I found 3 pairs of pants that fit and at a great price. Thank you for always having a good selection to choose from.

The online experience I just had was HORRIBLE! My purchase was packaged and shipped in a plastic bag with no protective packaging material. Needless to say, it was damaged and unusable. Customer service wouldn’t make it right. Item is no longer available, I have to now find a store to try to return the trashed item and go through the whole explanation again. Even after going through their ridiculous request of multiple photos clearly showing the item crushed! Not so much as an apology for the careless packaging! Never again. I’ve shopped here for years and won’t deal with this type of treatment . UPDATE 11/18 - customer service reconsidered their position and decided it was appropriate to help me with this problem. They have now made it right and I am appreciative of their assistance.

I recently had a very uncomfortable experience at the Marshall's in Lawrenceburg, TN. While shopping with my husband, I noticed a known employee peeking around the corner, watching us as if we were doing something wrong. Not only that, but I felt followed throughout the store. This kind of treatment is unsettling and disappointing, especially considering that we are loyal customers with store credit cards. Is this how Marshall's treats its loyal customers? I hope management addresses this behavior, as it discourages us from wanting to shop here in the future.

I have always loved TJ Maxx stores but try calling customer service with an issue and it is a nightmare. I have to call them about an issue with my cards and everytime I called and tried to explain I got someone who could barely speak English and I could not understand them at all. I know we have many cultures in our country and that is fine, however I think TJ just hires anyone the can to man the phones and that person has got to be able to understand the customr and the customer needs to understand them.So I believe I talked to over 5 people and all of them had such bad english and did not understand my issue so I gave up. My frustration was over a 10 after going through this. I would say just give up their credit card. I will pay mine off and shread the card.

I went in today to TJ Maxx with my family and Mrs.Mirna had took care of me and my family she was so nice she's such a sweetheart she took care of me and my family she's always nice and she's always has a smile on her face I love the way she works

I think Tj Max and their many brands are a great opportunity to buy items that one could not normally afford at more expensive stores. That are usually close out items but I've found some real treasures on their website. TJ Max does not respond to reviews on Trustpilot which likely leads to their bad review (it's hard to know when the scoring process is not transparent on Trustpilot) but if you have a problem at the the store they help you. They likely would have to raise their prices and hire more staff to respond to negative reviews here. If you have a problem consider first trying the store. I know this is easier but in order for them to offer low prices I don't think they can afford staffing to monitor all the review website. Their website has great deals and shipping at $89 plus for free and I have seen somethings there that cost 3 times the normal price at other stores for the identical item. We need stores like TJ Max Marshalls and Home Goods. Is the customer service top tier, no. It isn't Neiman Marcus or Saks 5th Ave - but guess what they sell some of their products.

Worst company to work in US, Due to highly discriminated, especially the foreigners they use you and abuse you

Do not trust their online stores. They’ll say they mailed your order and give you a partial tracking number then will not send you your merchandise. They are next to impossible to get ahold of on the phone or through their chat. It will take hours of trying. I tried both Marshall’s and TJMaxx online stores hoping one would be better than the other, nope. You’ll wait 2 weeks to get your money back. Then if you send a reviewyoull get an insincere reply about how your feedback is important and they’ll send it to the right people. Save your time and money and do not trust them because you’ll never get what you ordered.

WHEN THE GEARS OF THIS MACHINE WORK WELL! This Review is in regard to the lovely store manager in Canton, GA and all of our co-workers there. Yes, I am an associate and have been for ten months!
I am on Social Security and was in need of a part-time job. I could not be happier than to have been accepted to become a part of the team I work with. As a member, I have enjoyed the diverse communication of my fellow-employees which is refreshing to me.
I am turning seventy five in four days, and I must say just how richly blessed I am working here. In other places I have worked, can not compare to the peace and tranquil experience I find. Contentment with equal respect is what we do one to another.
I will often hear Ms Keesha's endearing laughter while working. It is a tell-tale sign of her incredible communication with all who enter our store and work for her. It is obvious to me that our customers know her and ask for her. Due to our store manager, our management staff works well together.
And now for the co-workers I have not mentioned until now...to give "Kudos' for everyone. They greet me when coming to work and such a blessing to feel, genuinely wanted and respected. The greeting - what force that is!
We laugh, empathize and enjoy each other's company. We work hard while in a great multitude of diversive kin-ship. Well, is that not what makes our TJX go round? It is here that I belong - where I love to go to work - and where I am not afraid to share! This is home to me - where Nana feels that her space is special! Thank you all for that awesome feeling.
I am one of others, who work the dressing room. I love my customers and having a good bit of fashion design under my belt, enjoy sharing with my ladies. It is special to me when one comes to see me again.
Sometimes I work the back-room and enjoy my hours there as well. Why? Because I have wonderful management and co-workers regardless where I am needed.
We are a diverse and culteral make-up of great employees; young, middle-of-the-road and not so middle-of-the-road any more, therefore I am proud to share just what I feel about our store, and yes! our DM Chris, is SUPER too, as I have great respect for him! I have shopped at TJ maxx for years and this used to be my favorite location, however on my visit yesterday service was terrible! I found an item I liked that said it was part of a set but one of the pieces was missing, I proceeded to the register to pay and asked if the price would be different since half of it was missing and a nearby worker assured me it would. however the cashier I got refused to answer me when I asked her about it several times and did not adjust the price. she was very unfriendly and merely stared at me until I payed and left…. later on I went to Slidell location and was double charged for a shirt I bought for my husband that I didn’t notice until I got home. I called the store to verify if I needed to come all the way back to Slidell to correct this and was told I could go to any location as long as I brought the items and reciept with me. After going to mandeville location earlier and having issues I didn’t really want to return there but it’s so much closer to my home so I did anyways. upon entry I asked a woman that was by the door if i was in the right place for this and she very gruffly said ‘ there’s one line for everything’ after ignoring my attempts to get her attention for several minutes. after waiting in line and getting to the register I noticed she had been watching me with a sour expression on her face the whole time I was in line. and once I got the the register she was glaring at me and rushed over to stop the employees from helping me with my refund. Having realized she was the manager I asked why she stopped them and was told they need to see the digital reciept … I had already given the paper one and the items and asked why and was told that she needed to see the cameras before issuing the refund. she was incredibly rude about this whole process and completely unprofessional! she was scolding employees in font of customers and you could tell they were so uncomfortable!! they were just doing their job! it’s so sad to see workers treated so badly and that the company doesn’t care enough to get management that cares about the customers at all! I will also note that the woman in front of me in line had a similar issue and this terrible woman didn’t even glance her way! I was merely singled out because I asked her if i was in the right line! will not be returning!!
