I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ticket Lords.

I wanted to book flights for my parents and four other family members with Air France. The salesperson, told me that to secure the seats I needed to pay a £300 deposit, then pay the remaining balance the following day. I was also assured that I would be issued a PNR before making the final payment so I could verify the booking with the airline.

The next day, nobody contacted me as promised, so I had to chase them myself. I was told the sales person who took the payment wasn’t in the office and was passed to his manager. They informed me that the original fare had disappeared and the price had doubled, despite the fact that I had already paid a deposit specifically to secure those seats.

When I questioned why the seats had not been reserved as promised, I received no proper explanation. Instead, I was offered an alternative Lufthansa itinerary with two stopovers and a much longer journey, which was completely unsuitable for my elderly parents.

After numerous emails and phone calls, communication became very poor. Initially, I was told they would charge £50 per passenger as a cancellation fee. After I challenged this, they changed their position and offered to refund £150 of my £300 deposit. Later they increased this to £240 (claiming a £10 cancellation fee per passenger), only to then send a final response stating they would only refund £150, relying on their terms and conditions.

The problem with that argument is simple: I did not cancel the booking. Their own terms state that cancellation charges apply when the customer cancels the reservation. In this case, Ticket Lords failed to honour the agreement by not reserving the flights after taking my deposit. It was their failure to provide what was promised—not my decision to cancel. Applying cancellation fees in these circumstances is completely unjustified.

I will now be pursuing a Visa chargeback through my bank and reporting Ticket Lords to Trading Standards and the relevant regulators for what I believe are misleading business practices and unfair charges.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering using Ticket Lords to think twice. Be very careful before paying them any money.

The booking process and the staff Furqan Ahmed was superb. Taking me through the booking process, searching and explaining the advantages of all the available options to me. It was credible.

I really wanted to give them '0' star. They gave me a quote, collected deposit, told me price has gone up by 50% when I tried to pay the remaining balance the week after, they never notify me. I asked for my refund, they said they wouldn't pay me full refund but will take adm fee. I am not happy at all.

Abeera was prompt and helpful at resolving my issue and managed to find me alternative flights for the same price. This is a trusted website and helpful. Initially I did not have a great experience with another helper as the flight ticket reserved for some reason fell through and then I was recommend flights for higher prices which was ridiculous. However The second agent was prompt at resolving this and sorted out my flight tickets. Initially I thought it was a scam after the first experience but that's not the case.

Always had good service and communication from the team so we book every year with this company.

Do not trust Ticket Lords. They are currently holding my £90 deposit hostage after failing to provide the flight I booked.When I contacted them to pay my remaining balance, they refused to honor the original agreement. Instead, they tried to force a completely different flight itinerary on me that cost £500 more. When I rejected this outrageous price hike, they refused to refund my £90 deposit. This is theft and a total scam. They lock you in with a low deposit, try to price-gouge you later, and pocket your money when you say no. I am reporting them to Action Fraud and launching a chargeback with my bank. Avoid this company at all costs!
