Too much effort to make a return
This Customer is in the United States
Tracking number: Only the UK tracking number was sent. I needed to find an online universal tracking aggregator to find the United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking number.
Return experience: The customer support person replied via email which had a link to an online return label generator. The website did not find my United States address. I chose the website option to manually enter an address and it was rejected due to the website inability to recognize a United States postal code (aka. zip code). Had to email again with a request for the return address in the United States.
In summary, there were too many "touches" required by the Customer, both to find the tracking number and return the item.

Hilly brand socks smaller than expected.
Hilly brand socks sized by Hilly as U.K. 3-5 1/2 were too small. I am U.K. 4.
On contacting The Socks Emporium they promptly replied to tell me that there was no need to return the socks and they issued a refund.
Good customer service.
