The Bedroom Shop is fantastic! I searched and searched online for the perfect (and within budget) wardrobes.. and after a few visits to shops selling "the same old" furniture, I saw The bedroom shop online. Their German bedroom furniture range, Wiemann furniture, is something else! It's stylish, extremely well made and looks fantastic!

What else stands out is the team! We had the fabulous Nathan helping us when we visited the storeroom, and he helped us for a while as there are so many choices within the weimann range. We then went back online and chose what we wanted, and sent to Nathan. He checked it would all fit and look great, and then we ordered! As it's all bespoke to your measurements and made in Germany it does take a few weeks, but it's well worth the wait!

Then Nathan and Callum fitted it for us on the day. They are fantastic and really work hard. You can choose your own way to have the insides of the wardrobes, and Nathan and Callum worked around it with us on the day, showing us different options.

It was a brilliant purchase from start to finish, and we've ordered another couple of items to finish it off!

Brilliant! Highly recommended!

I can't really add photos as we are still to finish painting the ceiling and get a new carpet.. but here's a sneaky peak

Just great service and products.

I can't fault the Bedroom Shop.
I ordered a Sherwood wardrobe on their website, an easy and straightforward process. They kept me informed with expected delivery dates, then confirmed the day and time.
It arrived on schedule, very well packed and protected. The delivery team were polite and helpful, negotiating the stairs expertly. It was placed exactly where I wanted it, and all packaging was removed.
The wardrobe it great - it looks so much better than on the webpage.
I'm so pleased I have just ordered more matching pieces for the room!
As I say - can't fault anything!

Stylish bedroom set

We recently purchased a bedroom set from The Bedroom Shop the customer service received during and after our purchase was excellent. The furniture is beautifully crafted, and the doors have a lovely finish. Two chaps from the store assembled the bank of wardrobes, they all fit together perfectly. Our bedroom looks so much more stylish now! We highly recommend The Bedroom Shop.

Pull Down Murphy Bed

Purchased their Tyne White High Gloss pulldown bed set with side units. Waited for delivery but wow is the quality worth the wait. incredibly well engineered piece of furniture and super high quality. Assembly is not for the faint hearted, and there was a few moments when i wondered why i didn't pay for the fitting service, but that was my choice. Very happy, thank you The Bedroom Shop!

Top quality furniture from a first class company

I cannot praise this company enough. If you want quality furniture at a fair price, this is the shop for you.

Having chosen the Pembroke furniture range I called the sales office to see if it was possible to obtain a double hanging wardrobe which wasn't listed on the website. I spoke to Claire and she was brilliant; very friendly and efficient. The furniture arrived this morning and I am highly delighted. It looks the bee's knees - far more expensive than it actually was!

Thank you to all at The Bedroom Shop. I would not hesitate to buy from you again.

Diepte maten worden niet aangeven. …

Diepte maten van kasten worden niet aangeven. Dus als je mooie kledingkast binnen is blijkt die wel bijzonder smal te zijn. Minimale verwachting voor een kledingkast is toch wel 55 cm beter nog 60cm. Mijn levering bevatte een kast met slechts 50 cm. Duik in de website van de bedroomshop en deze maat is eigenlijk niet te vinden. Afwerking is matig.
Conclusie deze zaak is niet helder.

Fitted wardrobe

Fantastic experience with the bedroom shop , really very happy from start of order to the actual fitting of wardrobe, Claire was very helpful at the shop ,and the guys who fitted the wardrobe were very friendly and professional,can’t recommend them enough.

Bedroom Delight

Ordered my Kent bedroom furniture by phone. Lady who dealt with my order was helpful and so professional. Came earlier than expected. Two delivery men took items upstairs to bedrooms. Very nice and so obliging. Quality looked great and looked expensive. All items fully assembled. Only thing was to put handles on but that was no problems.
Reccomend this company highly for excellent service and price.

The Best

Ordered this bedroom set in January but it was not required until April when decorating was completed, this wasn’t a problem.
I rang when the room Was ready and things were organised, date and time set.
I was phoned to check all was still good an hour before delivery time, delivery team arrived on time.
They offloaded and navigated all items to the bedroom, built them and positioned them where asked. All the time cleaning up after themselves, were polite and respectful at all times.
I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for good quality products, at good quality prices, with a workforce that go they extra mile, thank you to all at the bedroom shop, I will be seeing you again.

Shambolic

We moved home recently and spent a lot of time looking for quality wooden bedroom furniture to suit our new home and stand the test of time. We wanted to move away from Ikea/Argos-type flat-pack furniture, so when we found this website, with the words “Assembled Bedroom Furniture” plastered all over it, we thought we’d found what we wanted.

We chose items from the Corona range, but when I went to place the order online the website said there was only one bedside cabinet in stock. I called the next day to ask if more were expected, only to be told the website was wrong, as there were 125 of them in stock (!), so I went ahead and ordered. A simple system error, or a red flag?

When I received an email confirming the order a short time later, I was surprised to see the words (flat pack) on the invoice, so I called up the next day to ask for clarification, only to be told that the Corona range wasn’t delivered assembled, but was instead flat pack. As we’d spent so long looking for suitable furniture, we decided to go with it anyway.

The lady I spoke with when I placed my order told me to expect delivery within 7-21 days, and that I’d be contacted to confirm delivery details. However, I heard nothing until the couriers arrived at our house – thankfully, I was at home at the timeso didn't miss the delivery.

We started to assemble the bedside cabinets and quickly found that some holes had been bored in the wrong place, others not at all, and that the instructions were often confusing, sometimes actually incorrect (e.g. showing holes in the wrong place), but we managed to assemble both cabinets with some additional effort.

We then moved onto the chest of drawers, only to find six damaged parts and three missing fixtures. There was also a fixture that was completely pointless - it’s supposed to provide additional support to the base of the drawers but the way it’s aligned means it actually raises the base away from the groove into which it sits, which totally defeats its purpose.

When we opened the packaging for the storage box, again we found multiple damaged parts and two damaged fixtures.

I took photos of all damaged parts, labelled everything very clearly and emailed customer service, asking for someone to call me to discuss the issue. Instead, I got a short, borderline rude email telling me to send it all back if I wasn't happy... clearly, this was someone who's never tried re-boxing flat-pack furniture.

So I called them up and asked to speak to a manager - who either works about 10 minutes a week or doesn't exist, as they are never ever available. The person I spoke with (Claire) offered me a £50 refund (on an order worth over £500) and promised to arrange for replacement parts to be sent out.

The next week, the parts arrived and... you guessed it... again, most of them were either damaged or the wrong items - even though I'd listed everything by part number and provided photos.

So again, I contacted the company with details of the parts I needed and, again, they said they'd send them out. It was almost a case of third time lucky... I had to bore a few missing holes in a couple of drawers and some pre-cut grooves were too wide, meaning the drawer bases wobble around, but we got there in the end... no thanks to the bedroom shop.

The extent of the damaged and missing parts, in what is undeniably nowhere close to the build quality of furniture of this price, combined with the company's refusal to take responsibility, have made for an extremely frustrating experience. We’d have excused Ikea/Argos for this, but we really thought we were buying very good quality furniture from a UK company that made it themselves.

However, it turns out the very same range – Corona by Core Products – is available on Amazon for lower prices. We didn’t bother checking prices before we ordered as we believed they were the manufacturer.

I contacted them a couple of more times, asking for the elusive/non-existent manager and requested more than a measly £50 partial refund for all the hassle and time wasted, but the official line is that "we've asked our supplier to compensate us so we can compensate you, but they're refusing"... Wow. Just wow.

Take a bow, the bedroom shop.

I didn’t suggest you hid product information, but the font used to alert customers to the flat-pack nature of the Corona range is quite a few sizes smaller than the font used to alert customers to the fact that you sell assembled bedroom furniture.

When you made the offer of returning everything for a full refund, I pointed out how impossible it would be for me to pack everything back into boxes, especially as I’d already partially assembled so much.

I never even hinted at wanting money to not write a bad review - it’s not about that. Of course money back is great, but I’d rather just not have had the grief.

Thank you for your review. I can only apologise that your experience is not as we expect. The reason for my late response is I have investigated points made to hopefully prevent this from happening again. As a company we value feedback to improve in the future. I also believe I owe to my staff to fully investigate before making assumptions feel it is only fair to state facts regarding your full experience.
Firstly, it was my self you placed the order with & I must state clearly stock changes daily & sometimes, due to us being a family run business, our website cannot be updated immediately with stock levels for each item due to the sheer number of products we offer. Hence why on your initial call with myself I offered to check this for you, so I wasn’t giving you incorrect information. No system error, no red flag just simply a stock change.
Secondly, we did not advise you of any ranges to purchase you called after looking on our website & knew what it was you wanted. Our website is self-explanatory with the Corona Range marked as flat-pack & on each item we also advise if you want the items assembling the steps to take. We feel it unfair to blame us for the error you made in assuming this range assembled. We don’t hide information on our products and our Corona Range is clearly stated with the manufacture should you have wanted to do more research.
In regards to delivery, company procedure of all our deliveries whether that be direct from our warehouse or direct from the manufacturers, as standard notification is given, so for this I can only apologise and luckily you was home to accept delivery. The reason for no notice I have not been able to get to the bottom of but can safely say this would have been an unintentional error which would have been more inconvenient to our supplier & delivery firm to re-deliver & was not done on purpose.
Now to the damage and problems with your order, I can only apologise to you, this has not happened in the past and we hope this does not happen again. No explanation can be given for this and with our supplier producing 1000’s of items daily we don’t know how holes have been bored wrong as machines are set for each production using high spec machinery. No other problems from that production line have been reported.
We did everything in our power to rectify the problems with your items and as a gesture of goodwill offered a £50 refund to compensate for hassle and time. We feel this was never going to be good enough and must also state our supplier have not compensated us as they have tried to rectify the problems for you, but nothing seemed good enough & it seemed like you wanted to keep all the items along with a full refund. We offered to provide a full refund and collect the items but again this was not satisfactory.
The impression from the many phone calls that if we didn’t give you money back then you would be writing a review. We have never & will never be held over the barrel of a gun which my staff have reiterated to me they felt you tried to do, to be refunded even more money whilst keeping the items.
I am sure you can appreciate in the present-day times are hard for EVERYONE, customers, stores and manufactures and it is very disappointing that you are so surprised we would not offer more money for an order we have tried to resolve by errors caused by delivery and manufacturing, and it was clear you wanted to keep for a heavily discounted price.

As your review advises us to ‘Take a bow’ I would just like to say I am immensely proud of the way my staff have handled your order & how they tried their upmost to rectify all the problems in the best way they could, not only problems out of their hands but also you. The way in which you have ended your review clearly says a lot more about you than our company and hope in the future you can find a company who will provide you with furniture you wish for at a price you deem fit.
