I would give 5 for the product as for an ex display can't fault, although an instruction manual would have been helpful!
Customer service, though, is shocking! I received a call day before firm a woman who very cold and abruptly told me I would be first and to make I was ready for 6 am - 6.30. Next morning up 5.30 ready for 6am delivery arrives at 7.45! No explanation!

Our apologies that you have not had the most satisfactory experience with our company.
As we sell predominantly graded appliances, a lot of our product do not come with manuals as they are not provided with them when delivered to us from the manufacturer.
We ensure to give our customers a warning of the time of their delivery the day before it is due as we do have to start early in the morning due to coming from Leicester.
Late arrival could be down to anything from traffic, late leaving, there isn't a way we can fully explain this or find out as to why but we do apologise that this was not warned prior to your delivery.
Definitely worth every penny.
This company are a 100%with customer service and support. Excellent delivery service and driver. I can’t thank you enough.
The product a tumble dryer works great and more economical than I expected. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I am giving this a 2 star due to the audacity of the email and messaging I receive from customer services. I was in an interview and they rang me 4 times and send me the rudest of emails threatening to charge me £50.00 if I did not reply to them in 15 mins!!!
Rude much!
I had left a note on the door and phoned them I would not be in!

We do apologise that you're experience with us was not a great one, all of our standard delivery emails do state that failed deliveries do incur a re-delivery charge of £50, this is also stated when we send you your first delivery confirmation email as well.
We also do apologise that your note was ignored.
Value for money
Bought a Bosch Hob, described as Grade B, arrived in good tme, not in its origonal packaging, but well packed and complete. I can find no damage on the item whatsoever, so all in all a great purchase at a very good price. Would shop here again.

Scammers. They changed me 80£ and for cancelling the order after my delivery was changed many times and did not need the item anymore

We always ask for at least 48 hours notice when cancelling an order as these get packed onto our vans the day before deliveries are due.
As our terms and conditions state "If we have arranged for a product to be delivered and there is no one at the address to accept and sign for it, you are responsible for paying a failed delivery fee. If there are other reasons as to why the delivery cannot occur, such as it not fitting through the door, or the wrong item has been ordered, you will again be liable for paying a failed delivery fee. Failed delivery charges are £50 and at the discretion of the manager."
Because you wished to cancel your order when our driver was 20 minutes away from your property to deliver your item, this was classed as a failed delivery.
As the driver had already left the depot with your item and was on route to your property at the time of cancellation, the delivery fee was non refundable.
We apologise you don't feel you had a satisfactory experience with The Appliance Depot.

We're sorry to hear you weren't happy with how your oven was delivered to your property.
As we sell predominantly graded appliances that come delivered to us with box damage or no packaging at all, we have to re-package them ourselves to make them suitable for delivery.
Apologies the packaging was not up to the standard, we take comments like these very seriously and this will be passed over to management!

I paid £75 for delivery of a fridge freezer,I had to take the day off work,I got a call from the cowboy transport company( that the appliance depot use)saying they had no pallets to deliver the fridge freezer on and they would deliver it the next day so that was another day off work.
This fridge freezer ended up costing me dear no compensation from Appliance Depot,Definitely wouldn't use this mob ever again!
Should've stuck to AO.COM no delivery fee and delivers when they say.

When we book your delivery in with them, we give them an exact date to deliver your appliance and this is when we also expect this delivery to take place.

Our apologies you feel this way, I've had a look into your order and can see you ordered a B grade Samsung American style fridge freezer. This was listed clearly with text and photos on the original listing before you purchased stating it has dents all over the front and dents to the right hand side (the listing has 9 photos we took showing all the dents).
All listings that are graded and have any damage are clearly listed on each web listing for our customer to view before they purchase, this is so we remain transparent.
We also clearly highlight we are a graded retailer and have been for over 15 years.
Fast and effecient service
Fast and effecient service. Had a minor issue with missing parts but this was sorted in a timly manner. a very helpful team.

Be careful
Problems with my graded Smeg range cooker:
Sides far more ‘dented’ than described – more like caved in
Dent back of hob area (not described in listing)
Front foot plate scratched and dented (not mentioned in listing – front described as ‘no damage’ )
No gas hose adaptor or LPG fittings (omitted from delivery on Friday and noticed on Saturday by my plumber)
Door lines uneven (‘no damage’ to front of cooker in listing)
What I was told by AD:
Adaptor has never been missing before – implying I was mistaken
Can’t do anything over weekend – although I did then get another call
Adaptor will be sent 1st thing Monday to arrive Tuesday (It’s Thursday now and I still don’t have it)
Why didn’t you decline the delivery? (I accepted the damage to the sides and even the small dent to the hob as I am not a fussy customer and the damage to the sides would not be seen)
Why didn’t you tell us sooner? (I phoned and sent an email on the Saturday and another one on Monday after telephoning about the foot plate and being asked to send pictures. I only saw the uneven doors on Monday when the cooker had been put in situ and I had a moment to look at it from the other side of the room – not originally obvious in my small hallway)
Maybe I have uneven floors which would account for the uneven doors (?)
Further conversations:
I suggested I could have a replacement and was told ‘no’ – I would be given a full refund.
I was later called by Steve who offered me a replacement saying he had some new Smeg cookers in.
I accepted this after looking at the website, but noticed the one I wanted (albeit same model and grading) was a lower price.
Steve then retracted his offer when I pointed out the price difference and that I would be due a refund – saying that he had put himself out already, wasn’t prepared to refund me (what amounted to £50 in a potential sale of more than £1,000), I was clearly a difficult customer and he couldn’t be bothered with all the paperwork.
I don’t know what Steve’s problem is, but he needs to think about how much all of this has put ME out and I’m sure his boss won’t be too pleased with his lack of business acumen. I was prepared to give the business another chance.
So….I am now waiting in for the cooker to be collected. I have been forced to buy a new cooker from Appliances Online so that I have a cooker for my guests next week. My plumber will need to visit a second time. I will have been without a cooker for a week.
Update after reading response: Your response is inaccurate and misleading. Your oven was in far worse condition than described and I still don't have the hose adaptor....did you ever send it? No I didn't need the LPG kit...so what is your point? But i did need the hose adaptor. You are trying to imply that I am fussy...well shame on you for such a predictable stance.

Our apologies you have had a negative experience.
I can see when you called on Saturday 2nd March no managers or engineers were in for our customer service team to get the missing gas adapter ready, but after your phone call our team member was proactive with your issue and called one of them to get this sorted for you asap.
I can see from our records you were installing this as natural gas and not LPG and this is why the LPG kit was missing.
I can see the extra damages were small and we were willing to send out a new kick plate, but you wanted an exchange or a refund.
Due to us selling graded stock we tried to list all stock as accurately as we can with text and photos. Sometimes items can have very small imperfections that are missing or a damage can happen in transit.
As you wanted the item to be perfect we didn't want you to be disappointed if the appliance arrived with another small imperfection.
With regards to your complain about our staff this has been escalated to a manager as we take all complaints seriously.
Perfect experience
Fantastic communication from website to email to phone about the delivery time. Driver was very helpful in getting the large fridge into our house, taking it out of its packaging and inspecting. We are also very pleased with the fridge itself which is near perfect despite being graded A.
