A waste of time and money
Unfortunately the exam prep course offered no actual teaching insights or resources that can’t all already be found online for free.
Essentially you’re paying around 80 euros for an official certificate and that’s it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that the Exam prep course didn’t meet your expectations. The course is designed to teach already trained TEFL teachers how to assess what their students’ current level of English is, and create lessons that will help them with their English proficiency tests. While some content may be available online, the value of the course lies in its structured guidance, practice materials, quizzes and assignments, and the official certificate that proves your qualification to future employers.
We always aim to be clear about what each course offers, and we appreciate your comments as they help us continue to improve the experience for future students.

TEFL is a great org for learning a meaningful and in-demand new career. I'm a 63-year-old IT manager now. But mid-2026 I'm embarking on a new teaching gig, and I'm really excited.
TEFL provides a lot of good information as well as materials like lesson plans for use in my new teaching gig.
I'd recommend this cost-effective program to anybody needing a reinvention of self or younger people just striking out our their own.

It is crucial for people to be self-educated constantly. They should always learn the contemporary teaching method in order to get students interested in learning a foreign language.
What made me watch this course was that the instructors demonstrated the up-to-date method of teaching English as a foreign language and ways of dealing with the different types of learners. They also showed the methods of delivering lessons to students efficiently. Besides, I completed the quiz and learned to write lesson plans for students in order to be better prepared for lessons.

A complete teaching toolkit
This course fundamentally enhanced my teaching practice in five key areas.
First, it helped me systematically structure my knowledge.
Second, it supplied varied techniques for diagnosing student needs.
Third, it delivered an exceptionally clear and practical guide to teaching beginner grammar without using the students' mother tongue.
Fourth, it gave me concrete tools to teach in an engaging and playful manner, boosting classroom energy.
And fifth, it provided a robust methodological foundation, supported by key references, for adapting my instruction to large classes, small groups, and private students alike.
Therefore, I confidently recommend it to two groups: those preparing to teach English and current teachers dedicated to advancing their methodology and raising their performance level.
