As an experienced teacher of over 10 years…
As an experienced teacher of over 10 years, I found that the TEFL certificate course was very instrumental and providing additional insight on some of the teaching applications that I may have missed in my initial training as a teacher or has provided a voice in how my teaching method should be presented. It also provided names for a lot of the things that I do so that I knew that I was doing things correctly. I would like to thank TEFL.org for their program, solidifying my teaching credentials in Asia.

Honestly i really enjoyed the course…
Honestly i really enjoyed the course was very interesting. In addition the lessons are well structured and organized with video example to help to become a good English teacher. Nevertheless i would have like a video example for the " teaching online " lesson because i am a visual learner.

Easy to navigate and understand the requirements.
Easy to navigate and understand the requirements. However, I have a recommendation since I've been teaching EFL for 25 years in Taiwan. I think you could put a lot more into your program about helping teachers understand a) how frequently they'll deal with students who misbehave with school-age students and how greatly it affects classes, and b) more info on how to handle such situations. I'm also wondering why TEFL Org bills itself in the names of classes/modules/units as teaching US EFL instruction even though all the speakers in the videos are from the UK and the organization is based in Scotland? (Not that it matters; just wondering.)

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback!
We really appreciate your suggestions around classroom management and supporting teachers in dealing with student behaviour. We’ll pass this feedback on to our course development team.
Our course content is designed for an international audience, and the terminology used in some modules can reflect the broader use of EFL/English-language teaching terminology rather than indicating that the course is specifically US-based. As you noted, we’re based in Scotland so our course materials feature UK-based tutors and speakers.
Thanks again for the recommendation and for your kind words about the course being easy to navigate. We wish you all the best in your TEFL journey!

My coach Angie is super
My coach Angie is super! She has given me really useful feedback that is detailed but concise enough to digest/understand. Taking up the course has been such a humbling experience. Really, learning never stops even for experienced teachers like me. I find it amusing how the missing "aha" moment in one assignment about PPP was also an "aha" moment for me. Thank you, Angie!
