Unfortunately more garbage; purely promotional advertising; they don't have a comments section on their articles, so can't and therefore don't, know and don't care, how BS their promotional 'reviews' are. e.g. recent article couldn't even recognise that the phone they were reviewing has a far bigger screen than the comparisons, which is exactly why it's NOT even a comparison review.

I came on an interesting article today but it was nearly impossible to read it because there was this new kind of advertisement where the ad swipes up from the bottom. You can then swipe it down but as soon as you scroll down the article, the at swiped up again. So I could not read the article.

By far the worst and most clickbait tech site you can find online. The articles are trash that tell you nothing meaningful.

Looking at adding an SSD to my sons PC and wound up on techradar. Its odd how they push certain products which CLEARLY show performance numbers and statistics that are far inferior to other comparable products.
The one I was initially reading, the reviewer at one point was comparing the item being reviewed to a completely different interface and how much slower it was etc. Apples to oranges.
The smallest amount of research would show the average person these discrepancies.
Or maybe the guy is just terrible at his job? Either way, not a reliable source to get a fair review of a product you may be interested in.
I looked at a few other random things on techradar and its all like that. A couple of minutes of my own internet searching and I found MUCH different info straight off of manufacturers sites or user submitted benchmarking sites etc.
Like someone else said, they're making money giving good reviews to lesser products so they certainly cannot say anything negative about those.
Its a clickbait advertising website.

Looking at your reviews along side sonos shows you are easily influenced by money look at genuine people's recent reviews of products on here when advising people to spend hundreds of pounds on junk

Extremely biased, ignorant and uninformed clickbait articles written by unqualified journalist in favor of lying to and misinforming the public. An article saying that apple is the future of gaming is an absolutely delusional statement that shows the writer's extreme bias. These articles are very insulting to those who are well educated enough to already be in the know on the industry trying to gain relevant information. Its sad that the average couch potato working a minimum wage job is more informed than most of tech radar's overpaid journalists.

TechRadar gives a comparison of "Best cheap phones in Australia 2022" and gives a link where to buy it from India..since your website is "au" you should give links to Aus.

Techradar is ridiculously biased in favour of Apples crappy iPhone range. No matter what phone they are reviewing, they always compare the device to the overpriced and overrated iPhones.
Not everyone wants or can afford those £1000+ phones. I have been more than happy with Sony and LG models and would NEVER go for one of Apple's trashy scrap metal with no sd cart slots or customisation.

Took their advice about IT security and bought Bitdefender. Only 1/2 weeks in and not happy.
Blocks a lot of things, seems to manipulate what you are doing, intrusive compared to McAfee.
Techradar has clearly not reported this correctly.

Many times I have found their reviews to be dishonest and unreliable

Used to like their reviews, until I read the one about Sky Q when it became apparently obvious to me that Sky had paid them to give it a good review. As having used Sky Q, I have to totally disagree with their review. Virgin 360 has a far better and much easier to use user interface. It's basically an upgraded version of the Sky Plus HD interface so pretty much the best of both worlds as the old Sky interface was so nice and easy to use, unlike the appalling Sky Q!!! Their review of Virgin 360 compared to their sky Q review is also very short and lacks any real detail.

I placed an order for HP SPECTRE x360 15 on May2021 and for a long period of waiting, I received the laptop on last week of July 2021.
Issues:
1.Webcam resolution looks like the older systems and blurred.
2.Display brightness issue
3.Sometime any file processing it's hang.
4.Fan sound noise.

After received the laptop when I rectified these issues and reported to HP on 2ndAugust 2021,they confirmed these units having webcam issues, it's a hardware problem. So if you want you will get a replacement and manager will contact me back within 5 business days. I expected a call from HP till 19th August, then I contacted HP again, they connected to various departments, after escalation I contacted Maxine supervisor/manager(resolution dept) on customer support, she said I have to pay a restocking fee for this replacement and again 2 months waiting period required.I felt very much disappointed once i talk to Maxine. Again she transferred to Tech team and waited for so long time it's automatically disconnected, even after they didn't call back or no response. I spent with this call around 1hr 30 minutes. Still I am facing issues, hope HP wants only customers money, doesn't have a good customer support,

Poor customer support. Long time waiting. Need to repeat all issues even after provide case number. I faced a lot of inconvenience and it's affected my work.
HP sent defective system without proper quality check to us.

This customizable laptop worth $1639.99+.I purchased on HP.com.So please think twice online shopping and please rethink before goes to HP for expensive one.

Their review of laptops for writers was horrible. I’m returning this piece of junk I bought due to their review. Shame on you techradar

The website is very confusing and pop ups are very annoying. There are better techy websites.

The ads on their website and articles take up litterally half of the screen when on mobile. Even though they have good and useful articles, I'm reading my articles somewhere else now. Looks like making money from ads is more important than functionality...

I read the article on webcams written by Carrie Marshall, Jess Weatherbed.

On purchasing one of the products featured, I was disappointed.

The info on the website was wrong, leading me to buy a product under my desired specs.

The Logitech C920 webcam does not do 720 at 60fps, as stated in the article as of 23.04.2021. Having made the wrong choice, I am now stuck with a camera that doesn't fulfil my needs, and am unable to return it. And they probably earned a commission on the click-through too.
