It’s a shame you can’t put zero stars

It’s a shame you can’t put zero stars, your a disgrace the whole system is to send people round and round until they give up, I received a voucher for half the amount it should of been I’m now sat watching a tv half the quality my old tv was, I have spent thousands at Currys in the past but not another penny will I ever grace your till with in the future

Now passing repairs to Whirlpool

Warning! Team Knowhow have passed their white goods repairs to Whirlpool! After calling Team Knowhow and waiting on the phone to get through to book a repair to our Hotpoint Tumble Dryer, I was told that they don’t do the repairs anymore and would have to call Whirlpool! I then had to get into a second phone queue to get through to Whirlpool. I had signed my agreement with Knowhow, so why do I then have to go to Whirlpool to arrange a repair. I had cancelled my washing machine repair policy after Whirlpool damaged my floor and denied it was them, so had planned to never deal with Whirlpool again (including buying their products). I’m now forced by Team Knowhow to use them again!

Appalled at how I was treated

Appalled at how I was treated, rang about my appliiance as it's stopped worked and had to throw all my defrosted food away, they said they'd get someone to ring me back day after as systems where down, but nobody rang, had to ring this morning chasing it, and they can't get anyone out to me until next Friday now, I said I wasn't happy and the person on the phone just laughed at me, I said I'm glad you're taking this seriously. Absulutly disgusting.

UNBELIEVABLE

Absolutely disgusted to see my elderly father has actually been paying £7.99 A month to currys care plan for 15 years!
TV broken clearly could Not be repaired As they no longer have plasma tvs in circulation.
Never once contacted my father over 15 years, just continued to deduct 7.99 monthly for a care plan that no longer exists.
I've taken this further today as it's completely unlawful. They sent him a voucher of 369.99 to replace his TV when they've taken over 1,414.00 in care payments, initially paid over 1000 for TV originally, Then had audacity to charge 99.99 delivery today!
I'll be awaiting a reply from your complaint department because this is actually fraudulent. He's been paying A ceased plan for 15 years !

My washing machine just stopped working they sorted an engineer to call He was with us within 24 hours
Had to order a new pump
He returned within 3 days all sorted

Terrible customer service.

Had a broken screen on a very expensive HP Envy. Prior to this all was working fine however I was called up to inform me that a the motherboard had to be replaced due to the camera not working.

Pushed back as I didn't want to pay the £400 on top of £280( screen repair) and when I picked up the laptop, the camera and everything else was working as perfectly as I had handed it in.

This let me to conclude that they simply wanted to squeeze extra money from for something that was not needed.

All interactions whether its on the phone in their repair store or in store (lower sydnham) was frustrating with people that clearly hated their jobs and wanted to do the bare minimum and didn't explain anything to me.

Bottom line. Terrible service and beware of them trying to get more money out you. Be sure to know what is and isn't working prior to handing in your item.

NEVER HAVE AN APPLIANCE FITTED

I purchased an oven from Currys, fitted by Team Knowhow and they were to provide a Minor Works Certificate as proof it was installed correctly (I even paid for installation). This was in 2020... its 3 years later and I still cannot get a copy of the certificate of installation. I have chased multiple times throughout this period, falling off due to desperation and issues with health (which this hasn't helped).

I am repeatedly told "will be sent within 3 days/24hrs" and nothing has appeared. This is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT that the installers are to provide and are refusing to do so... do yourself a favour NEVER BUY from Currys and certainly NEVER have it installed by them. You will never get a certificate which means any savings made would need to go to hire another electrician to do the same job twice. Its pathetic bordering criminal customer service.

Repair took to long.they said it wasn't…

Repair took to long.they said it wasn't under warranty. Nobody seemed to know what to do with my phone.i was on holiday till February. 14th then phone went in for repair. Lost alot of photo's. Worse was they were from my wedding commitment day.

Dont ever get insurance for your items from currys.

Paid for laptop insurance over 3 years. Now I found out the screen can't be fixed because laptop battery need to be replaced first. However insurance won't cover replacement of batterie(£177)so they won't go ahead with fixing the screen.

Team Know Nothing…

After being taken through a multitude of different options when phoning I was cut off. There is no information on why I can't access any of my utility insurance plans online. Team Know How are just impossible.

I am really not happy with costumer service

I am really not happy with costumer service. Shop assistant not interested in helping to resolve my problem.
Staff keep my phone in store for 2 weeks before sending it for repair.
Paying monthly contract for phone I didn't use for 2 months already!

Went in to my local curry’s as I had an…

Went in to my local curry’s as I had an insurance cover for my phone and when I got there they tell me my cover has been cancelled as they needed it renewing but failed to tell me when it needed to be renewed. The staff Spoke to the insurance company to see if there was any way around this and they said nothing was possible even though they should of informed me and I would of renewed it straight away !

I completely lost trust in a company I use to trust!

Washing machine broke down, Engineer couldn't repair on first visit, so they gave me a second many days later. I got a call from the engineer after appointment starting time saying "unfortunately the wrong part was ordered" so he was unable to attend. I left WORK & was at home! Why couldn't they call me even a day earlier so i can make work arrangements!

I called knowhow, customer service in South Africa; who told me the part was out of stock!! Completely different what the Engineer told me. I can't wait any longer! Visiting the laundrette isn't easy and paying ridiculous amounts for washing clothes for a family with kids is difficult!!

I've requested an arrangement for a replacement which will take a week! That means so many trips to the laundrette! I don't think there's even a point paying for a care plan with Currys Knowhow!

The number to the team (for replacement) through prompts given by the customer service officer doesn't work!!

Completely stuck!

No response to email sent 6 months ago

You're supposed to be able to email for support. I'm still waiting since I mailed them on 23rd October 2022 (and followed up with another email a month later AND sent a tweet) - getting on for 6 months. And they wonder why we never choose to pay for their ongoing product cover ?!?

Not a good experience

I took my phone to Currys on 30th January and repairs didn't receive it until 23rd February, the store and repairs blamed each other. It was impossible to speak to someone on the phone to complain, it was very frustrating.

Tto get through to custermer services…and told lies

To get through curries know how to custermer services takes about 30 -40 mins 24/ 2/2023 when get through to get the telle collected told wouldent do morning or afternoon so had to have day off 28 /2/ 2023 they never turned up so had a day off for nothing .Allso had to stay in a whole day i think there like most of the other warranty companies full of sh1.t and liers

Unauthorised payments

Cannot begin to describe how angry I am! Had a payment taken from my bank for knowhow cloud today. An unauthorised payment! I spoke with the teamknow regarding this more than 6 years ago. I was advised as it was not in my name they are unable to do anything. They then told me the subscription was cancelled and I reported this to my bank, which at the time they dealt with. Now, payment has not been taken for last year or previous years yet knowhow cloud has decided to take it upon themselves to take yet ANOTHER payment for a service I told them I don't have nor have any knowledge about! DO NOT sign up for this service. They will continually take unlawful payments from your account even when cancelled! I will now be contacting knowhow head office and yet again reporting this as fraud through my bank!

I was not advised that the backup…

I was not advised by their expert that the backup system is too slow to backup very large amounts of data and if the backup stops for no apparent reason it can corrupt files, when I went online with a problem and their expert told me i need to organise into collections of small data to avoid this. No good for users of creative cloud with lots of photos. The expert also advised me to tell the system to delete files which I queried but did and lost most of my catalogue. I've stayed with my external hard drives back up and cancelled. I was not told any of this when I bought the system. The tech support side is also very variable as to their expertise. Dont buy this - it isnt fit for.purpose.

If I could give a zero I would

If I could give a zero I would, this company has been the worst I have ever dealt with. My husband passed in 2018 and we had a policy for our dishwasher in his name, I called to swap the policy over to my name and renew the policy. I had to send in death certificate and other documents. In 2020 I noticed the payments were not being collected so I contacted them again. They had not switched the name over to mine so had to send in death certificate again and reset up payments. I was told these payments would be on a rolling contract so I would not have to renew the policy. A fault has developed on my dishwasher so I called team knowhow to be told my policy had not been renewed and I had no cover since 2021. I have received no correspondence, nothing. The customer service term I have spoken with have been no help at all and did not have a bone of empathy in their body. Truly awful company.

Terrible after care experience

Would give them zero stars if I could, have rung them 7 times know to get my cooker fixed, each time they have kept me on the phone for over 40min. today was an hour and half. No one will take responsibility and just send an engineer out. I will never pay for protection again, they are quick to take the money, but do not repair when you have a fault. Would advise no one to deal with these people. This has now been going on for weeks, and apparently according to Knowhow there are no gas engineers in the whole of the southwest who can fix a gas cooker. So therefore nothing has been done. As I stated before this is terrible service.
