Horrible service, my dishwasher had some issues and we booked an engineer to come, they fixed it temporarily, but still waiting for parts to fix it properly. But that's not the issue, they freaking managed to break my oven door glas and guess what, we called them multiple times when it's gonna be fixed and they say they are waiting for the parts that's happening for two weeks and we are unable to use the oven cook food. Same story every time. What freaking parts do you need to order for oven door. You go and buy quick cuz it's not our fault that engineer broke it and what we have to wait months for that. Absolute joke. Never using them again unfortunately with new products.

Absolutely shocking service, I have a 5 year care plan for my washing machine, this is the first time I have rung after 4 years. I was in the phone for 45 minutes, having given the same information over and over again. I was put on hold multiple times, the last time I was put in hold, I wasn’t even told she was putting me on hold. I gave up after 15 minutes of no one coming back to me as I have a life to lead. Absolutely disgusting and we paid £250 for this! What am I supposed to do now? Can I go into the Curry’s Know How store in person?

The engineers changed the parts for my MacBook and assembled it in a shockingly poor quality. The buttons are misaligned and the overall fit is terrible, particularly with the bottom case. Even worse, the trackpad is significantly lower compared to the bottom case.
I have already returned the product three times to Knowhow, hoping for a resolution, but to no avail. The staff at Currys who inspected the product were equally shocked and have already filed two reports documenting the issues with the MacBook. However, the Knowhow engineers have continuously denied any faults with the product.
The level of service I have received is deeply disappointing, and I strongly advise against anyone using Knowhow for their needs. I am now left with no choice but to file a formal complaint, as I am unable to complete my essential tasks without a functioning MacBook.

I have a Hotpoint washing machine and a KnowHow plan. We spent a day last week trying to book an engineer going round and round in circles on phone calls to Knowhow and Hotpoint. When we finally managed to book an engineer for this morning (after considerable effort) he did not turn up. We have spent half a day on the phone again going round in circles. Hotpoint have asked for B9/P22 numbers in order for them to book an engineer which we cannot get as the Knowhow lines put us though automatically to Hotpoint. It feels like they are trying to get out of repairing our washing machine.
After a few weeks of being messed around the washing machine has been fixed to our satisfaction.

I was apprehensive about using the Team Knowhow repair service for my laptop after reading some of the reviews. But my experience of the service was really great. I have been paying for the Repair insurance since the laptop was new. The 3.5 year old fairly basic HP laptop (used daily) was collected from my home, when they said. I had only reported the main problem which was the left / right touch pad buttons getting stuck on. The repair took less time than the 7 day estimate. When the laptop was returned to me, not only was the reported problem fixed, but the laptop had been fully tested and other issues (unreported by me) also were found and repaired. One of these was the laptop battery (which did not always charge fully) had been replaced for a new one. I had backed up the laptop as I had been warned when I first phoned the Repair number that data could be lost when the repair took place, but the laptop data I had left on it was all there when it came back. The repaired laptop was returned in 5 days and I had been kept informed, by text throughout. Overall a great service.
I wish I had read these reviews before paying insurance each month. This company is quick to collect your money but when you actually need to claim they’ll find a way to wiggle out of it! Don’t be fooled by promises of repairs or replacements, this is a con.

DO NOT USE I would have left -1 if I could :( took out in 2017 for 5 years. Didn't use it as its so difficult to find anything (like looking in a black hole) didn't realise but last year "automatic renewal" they took £60 off me. Spent hours this morning looking for website as I have an email saying they're taking subs again - had to phone as there is NOTHING online about my account and subscriptions " AVOID AVOID AVOID " - "followup" email from them says "sorry you are disappointed"!!! really - Disappointed "NO" that's not what I would say - I feel like I have extracted a blood sucking LEECH. :D

Terrible service, I was sent over to multiple departments with long waiting time. Finally got through to be told the terrible product I was sold needs to be repaired again, instead of just being replaced. 3 times they have been out to repair it but they are saying only two. Once again I have to wait 5 days for a repair for a broken useless oven. For a £1200 oven and a policy I have be paying for 3 years I expect better.
Update:- Complaints team confirmed it was the 4th breakdown but Knowhow team are not agreeing with it. I’m now stuck with broken £1200 oven plus 4 years of paying insurance after making 10+ calls and hours on the phone.

Booked our 5th service call to my daughter’s dishwasher. Intermittently it makes a loud screeching sound that drowns out our tv!
The engineers have been out 5 times now but still can’t fix it. It has cost Curry’s more than the original cost in call-outs so far. Ridiculous!
Last engineer said “just put up with it until it breaks”. Not a good way to look after customers!

I noticed this company under DSG retail Ltd, have been taking £2 a month out of my account for 9 years!!! Absolute scam. They probably owe thousands to people they have received with their misleading sales patter. Despicable company with compliant employees.

Although probably not Team Knowhows fault, as they atleast did their part in getting the tv picked up, the repair is not good!! Tv stopped, repair centre sent back after 7 days, all good i thought, new qled screen, new motherboard, set tv up...what a disaster!! Couldnt actually watch, as tv was so bright, nothing you adjusted made a difference and the screen itself had numerous places where it was marked, like the anti glare coating had worn off. So got them to pick it up a second time, highlighting the issues. 7 days later, tv returned, note on the front saying tv reset as wrong settings put in...this is not correct!! They are the same settings i used on my previous tv...now the tv is on brightness of 0, contrast is on 10(instead of 45) just so you can have the tv on!!! The screen is awful, blooming everywhere, because everything is turned down or off, picture is horrendous, and still overly bright...im assuming that when a visual check is done, it is just on the samsung page, where its just one big bright colour!! So now have a £2000 tv, that basically doesnt give you what it should.

I contacted Team Know How as I needed to raise a repair for my Washing Machine. I di not have my paperwork with me. The first person I spoke to after waiting over half an hour stated they would have to put me through to the care plan team who were able to locate me and stated they would put me through to book a repair over an further half hour wait to be told they need the serial number, so not impressed with customer service when asked to speak to a manager transfered back to the main switch board line having second thoughts about using Curries in future

I took my phone in to be repaired. The guy said they will have to wipe the phone. I asked why, just for a simple screen replacement. He said he doesn't know, they just do..........Err....losing it all, just "because they do" is not great now, is it? (I'd replace the screen myself, but why would I when under warranty?)
So, he sends it off...says it will take up to 2 WEEKS to come back......a job that takes about 60 minutes in total will take 2 weeks......that is atrocious!
So, we send it off, it gets sent back 2 weeks later with NO REPAIR! This is because it is an iPhone and needs find my phone turning off.
Now this never got mentioned when sending off so is the stores fault.
In the interim, the store called me from a private number. I ignored it thinking it was spam, but a voicemail told me that we needed to turn find my phone off and they needed to speak to me to confirm it was off before resending for repair.
So, I looked for the stores phone number.... they DONT have one. So, I call the central customer services number.... I get a very rude, clearly hates her job Indian lady who cannot.... I say again...cannot speak English very well.
Even when spelling out letters phonetically she couldn't understand.
So finally, she calls the store for me.... then puts me through....it rang and rang...in the end I gave up.
So, with no car, as mine was being repaired, we made our way to the store, about 40 mins drive away, but 2 bus rides and 2 .5 hours away via bus, just to stand there and say find my phone is now turned off.
Then we got quoted 2 weeks again....and left. What madness. What bad customer service.
Another week, and they say, nah can't repair in, here is a refurbished phone back instead.
I will never buy from them again, they should be ashamed of this service.

Been waiting 3 months for a new oven door. Got the door but no handle. They have stopped sending me updates. I’ve just been cut off on the helpline. Got through again and told me Curry’s have emailed Hoover and they’ve not replied. That’s it. I just have to wait.

I will never ever take any insurance protection again and I will guide everyone the same. How many of you like myself been told, the item will be replaced if it can't be fixed. We'll that is certainly not the case, as they will say the same problem has to occur a number of times etc, when that last hope is there, they claim another part is the issue and not the same as previously before. Try to call customer services ref the washing machine & dryer, the biggest joke on the planet. Numerous calls hanging kn for 45+ mins only to be cut off is so frustrating. £31.92 each month gradually increasing the past 10yrs including 3 tv's, do the maths. Best way is cancel the DD, if you can't just starve your bank balance and they will soon make contact. There is no morals left in this world, once you buy there is no aftersales, courtesy. Items are fairly cheap these days, assess your warranty length......do you really need KNOWHOW insurance!!!

I have been paying for insurance for my Dyson hoover for approximately 3.5 years and then have needed to get it repaired. Currently it has been almost 3 weeks since the initial claim and pick up of the hoover from my home address. I have spent roughly 3 hours on hold to several different people and have been told numerous different answers to my questions. The latest person I have spoke to has now stated that my hoover has been lost in the warehouse and they are currently unable to provide and update for when/if I will receive a voucher or my repaired hoover. This insurance is an absolute con. Customer service is absolutely disgraceful.

My mum has been paying Insurance for years to cover her washing machine. When asked for a callout as the rubber seal had broken. The engineer claimed the rubber wasn't insured as it was from wear and tear , and charged her approx £32 to order her a new part. And then gave her some detergent as part of a 'package' and said it comes with the rubber.
When I called know how they said the rubber is covered as part of the insurance. And I informed them of what happened. They contacted the engineer and he claimed the £32 was for the detergent! This was not the case! And he never gave a proper invoice that showed this... management then dismissed everything... this is clear fraudulent behavior. He is obviously charging older people for parts that are covered and pocketing it for himself but then claiming afterwards that its for detergent!!!! FRAUD

Whilst I am happy that I eventually received a credit note, curry's intervention. My data has mysteriously been entered onto the dark Web whilst in for repair. Data full with Microsoft. Not happy with them at all for this.
