I unfortunately had to return a kitchen tap that was
incompatible with my sink.
I had paid £6.95 postage but when I came to send it back to Tapstore
They wanted £15 to pick it up.
There are too many other good companies out there with a lot better delivery and returns policy.

Having been let down by another supplier, Will was brilliant at arranging next day delivery of my order and keeping me updated. Great customer service.
Customer satisfaction!
Ordered a shower pump 16 months ago from tapstore and received next day. This week, the pump broke down... I contacted tapstore. They were extremely helpful (especially Tim) and dispatched a new shower pump with a significant discount (reflecting the short life of the last one!) even though the old one was no longer under manufacturers warrantee. Received and fitted next day. I can't fault the customer service. Thanks guys - will definitely use you again.
Where do I even start
Where do I even start? Order an item online and paid £6.65 delivery for guaranteed 2-3 days. 10 days later, still nothing. Called and promised it would be next day. Next day nothing arrived. Called again and promised it would be between 10 and 12.30pm the next day. Again nothing.
As a strange coincidence, after ordering online, my debit card was compromised and had to be cancelled after a number of strange purchases appeared. This was the only item ordered online for 2-3 months. Make of that, what you will.

Sent a broken shower pump well wrapped so possibly not their fault - But new one arrived 1 day later so good service. Only 4 * though as not too sure about the small print "report any fault within 48hrs" not really practical to check everything I order within 48hr ! some jobs may take a week to get back to.
Totally arrogant customer services
Dreadful company avoid seriously, very unhelpful and down right insulting.

Went online and put >£500 in my basket. The website advised calling if you wanted express delivery, which I did. The service was slack, but my details were taken with a promise to email within 10 minutes with products that would be available. No email received, since ordered from Victoria Plum and PlumbNation.... Amazed these guys still exist with that level of service in an competitive market....
Worst customer service I have ever experienced
I ordered an item, they sent me the wrong thing and wouldn't send me the correct thing until they had collected their mistake. Very rude and impersonal service. I then went to Sanctuary Bathrooms who were BRILLIANT. They give you extra discount too if you phone and ask.

my old shower decided to die on me googled it and rang up tapstore and they advised me on suitable replacement ordered there and then and it arrived next day and it fitted perfectly
Could not ask for better service!
I had bought the wrong product from them (a pump), I called them they went out of there way to make sure that I bought the correct product, which my plumber had wronly advised me to get, they sent the new product to me at work and arranged the old one to be picked up from there as well. I would definatly order from them again.

One of my worst internet shopping experiences of all time and certainly the worst after sales service. When a shower valve packed up within the warranty period, they agreed to replace it, but the item was out of stock and was due to be shipped from China within 2 weeks. The 2 weeks came and went... Whenever they promised to ring me or return my calls they never did. When I did get to speak to someone they were off hand and disinterested.
Eventually the new component did arrive but couldn't be refitted because of technical problems in removing the old part (this was attempted by 3 different plumbers.) So I asked them to send me the whole shower unit, which they agreed to do. Again surprise, surprise, it was out of stock. 2 weeks, bcame 3, then 4. I said enough, and requested a refund. They said this would be made, although they were unsure by what method, on return of the old shower unit, which a courier picked up (promptly, for once!) After several days of no communication, the process of chasing them began again. There were repeated assurances of imminent reimbursement and then the bombshell that the promise of a refund should never have been made and was a 'mistake.'
Yes, I did get my money in the end, but only after a lot of aggro and being without a working shower for several months.
NEVER NEVER EVEN THINK OF USING THIS COMPANY.

Product arrived but it was plastic instead of a metal inside, subsequently it has worn away and now doesn't work. Emailed the company around 6 times so far, with no reply, tried to call but just says "no operator is available". I would understand getting this message a few times or even being put in a queuing system but calling 6 times at different times of the day and getting the same message is frustrating. Now looking at buying a new tap, any recommendations??!
I wouldn't pay Tapstore in washers! Use Tapstore at your peril!
Has to be one of the worst internet buying experiences ever. I placed my order for a £27 pipe and got nothing. I have e-mailed (and will continue to) but with no replies. So six e-mails on - nothing. I have left voicemails - nothing. I have left my phone numbers for home, work and my mobile - nothing. A truly awful company that I would strongly advise buyers to avoid. I have even checked to see if they have gone bankrupt!Sadly, nil stars isn't an option. I have now cancelled my order and await a refund (which should be a laugh). I could maybe view it as my Christmas savings pot!!
You had a chance. You blew it.
£250 tap arrived in a large jiffy bag with the contents squashed. Box containing tap had been taped up having been previously opened and re-packaged. Tap's pull-out hose was dented but I have no option but to fit it and fortunately the damage will not be visible. Instructions and guarantee documentation missing.
