Fobbed Off

Exactly the same issue as the 1-star review on 22 Dec 2025 and many others earlier. We ordered through Virgin Experience Days in good time but did not receive the goods within the promised timeline. Their lines were dead, they did not respond to emails (VED were also unable to contact them and you'd think they'd at least have a hotline to their suppliers) and we missed the deadline for the event. When we eventually received the goods (more than 2 weeks late) Tapp'd said they were sorry but were "in the process of moving and lost a lot of our emails" - seems like they must be moving all the time. Don't like being fobbed off. Tapp'd should sort out their customer service comms, take accountability, stop making excuses and compensate where the customer has been adversely impacted - this helps to stop recurrences such as we're seeing. Really poor experience

I placed an order towards the end of…

I placed an order towards the end of November for the Coachella box which was 50% off so I ordered 2 boxes. When they came one box had 5 breakages. I e-mailed them and they replied the following day and said they'd replace the order. I was hoping my 5 bottles would be replaced or maybe the one box at a push but I got both boxes again and I received them a couple of days later. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Please don't let the recent bad reviews put you off. Breakages are the couriers fault not Tapp'd.

SCAMMERS GOING INTO LIQUIDATION - DO NOT BUY.

Ordered a package through Virgin Experiences in early November, and as of 21/12 still not received items paid for. The company's phone lines are dead, or time out - they do not answer. They do not reply to any email correspondence. They do not reply to Instagram posts. I got hold of a "director" through Instagram, who promised to investigate, but nothing happened. Currently seeking financial reimbursement through Virgin, as Virgin also can't get through to them. The reviews all state their communications are non-existent - listen to us. And those that get the drinks find them covered in dust and battered - they are simply clearing out inventory before the company goes under. Do not throw your money away.

Serious lack of customer service

Some items that I ordered were delivered but boxes damaged and items missing. I have emailed customer services 6 plus times, called 16 plus times but have had no reply to the emails and the phone just rings out. I have now contacted citizens advice regarding this.

I placed an order which was ‘delivered’ nearly 2 weeks ago, I use the inverted delivered as it arrived leaking and bulging so credit to the DPD courier he said it would be best to refuse it as clearly is damaged inside (which is what happened and the proof even states refused as damaged) Cue the next 3 days trying to get hold of Tapp’d by phone (18 times in 2 days), email and web form. No answer or ignored across all channels, so commented on their social media post and quickly get a DM asking for details. Was promised 10 days ago a replacement had been sent on the Friday, when I stated I’d already re-ordered due to lack of contact so was I now going to receive 2 orders, after ‘checking with them’ the answer was yes ‘plus extras for the inconvenience’ The start of this week comes, only 1 parcel arrives which is my second paid for order and upon opening 1 of these is also completely smashed inside. Back to DM I go, to a reply of ‘oh no, we’ll definitely get this sorted for you’ I sent the requested video of the box label and smashed bottle within a couple of hours of request that day. It’s now been over a week since this replacement for the non delivered was allegedly sent with nothing received at all, and nearly a week since I sent the video and again nothing done about this either. DM’s are now basically getting ignored, except when I said do I need to come to the warehouse to sort it I quickly got asked if I was local then. I shall be forced to dispute with my card issuer and let them deal with it, maybe if they keep getting charged for chargebacks they might improve their non existent customer service. It’s put me off ever ordering again and would not recommend to anyone unless you want a failed damaged delivery, a damaged delivery and to then be out of pocket with no response.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. My order arrived damaged and incomplete. They ignored emails. When I eventually got a very poor answer from their website contact page, they said they had resent the order and had replied to my emails, all of which is still untrue more than 2 weeks later. They have been ignoring me ever since. No problem with the cocktails, just business which doesn't care its customers. Never again.

Non existent customer care team. When I finally did get a response it wasn’t polite and poor use of grammar.

A Very disappointed customer - Be aware

So we ordered 3 crates of 24 bottles on Tuesday 26th August which were to be used at my father’s surprise 70th party on the 29th and so far 2 weeks later we still have only received 1 box. We have also sent 5 emails which have been ignored apart from one which we received a reply stating that Tapp’d delivery driver would drop off the 2 additional crates. That email was nearly 6 days ago now and still we have heard and received nothing.

Great products and customer service…

I have ordered from Tappd a few times and find their cocktails the best. DHL damaged my last order, but after contacting customer service with photos replacements were sent out straight away. I can’t fault their customer service or products.

Really quick delivery

Really quick delivery. Cocktails are as close to the real thing as I have tried. Will definitely continue to order. Only thing i would add is that delivery charges a bit high but would not stop me buying.

Wouldn’t use again

Ordered 3 presents with them. Can only write a review for one at the moment as the other two haven’t arrived after a week and a half (having paid express delivery 1-3 days). Contacted customer services and still awaiting a response. Sent as a gift and they didn’t include the message we wrote in the box so the person had no idea what they were.

I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the service you received. I can see only 2 orders that you placed with us, using the 1-3 working day delivery method on 27/06/25 - as this order was placed after our closing hours on Friday afternoon, this would not have been actioned until Monday as we do not operate on the weekends. The first order had an attempted delivery on 01/07 which was unsuccessful at the address, and was then delivered on the 03/07/25 and the second package was delivered on 02/07/2025. I sincerely apologise that the note was not included in your second order, I will take a look into why this has been missed and make every effort to ensure this does not happen again. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to take it onboard to better improve our service.

Order never arrived!

Ordered two festival boxes (12 and 24 box) on 30th May used the MAYDAYPAYDAY offer.

Paid a total £58.78 with delivery expected in 1-3 working days.

Still not received my order!!! It's now 11th June!!!

Emailed last week, they claimed my order had been dispatched and there was a problem with DHL. I emailed again today at 6am no response

I'll be starting refund proceedings tomorrow if no reply I'll be instructing my bank.

Terrible customer service 😑

we received an email from yourself to chase your order on 06/06/2025 -the tracking from our courier service stated that there had been a delay but your parcel was in transit at which point we emailed back to apologise and advise you of this. We hadn't heard anything else from yourself until yesterday stating it still had not arrived, that email was picked up early this morning, and when checking the tracking information we could see that the parcel was refused at the door and it had been returned to us.
After speaking with you on the phone, you stated this was not the case and our team promptly packed your order again and have had it shipped out this afternoon for Saturday delivery.
I completely understand your frustration and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, we will be sure to open an investigation with our courier service to find out why this happened in order to prevent this occurring again.

Who cares about £20!!

I placed an order for £50.25 and paid £73.74!!
Paying by Apple Pay the delivery address was incorrect, from that point everything became my problem with absolutely no customer service or support. I placed a 2nd order to ensure a timely delivery to the correct destination paying £63.99. I returned the original order and was refunded the cheaper of the order values. (Maybe if someone cared they would have understood the situation)
Trying to correct the original order, I telephoned the customer service team 4 times and it was never answered. Responses to emails were delayed and very lacking in any support. After this event I summarised my experience in an email and hoped for an acknowledgement, but nothing, radio silence!!!!
We all appreciate that things go wrong and even if the customer has made a mistake, it would be nice to have to help to rectify the issue…buyer beware!

Yes, I made an error with the delivery address when using Apple Pay – something that can happen easily and should be manageable with some level of customer support. However, from that moment on, I was met with silence, unreturned calls, delayed and unhelpful email replies, and zero ownership from your side. That’s the real issue here — not the logistics of the refund, but the complete lack of customer service when it was most needed.

I placed a second order to correct the issue at additional cost to myself, and when I returned the original order (unopened and unused), I was refunded the lesser amount — which may be down to your system limitations, but still feels like an unfair outcome to a loyal customer trying to make things right.

A genuine apology and prompt human support would have gone a long way. Instead, I had to chase, explain repeatedly, and eventually give up hope of even receiving acknowledgment for my final email.

Mistakes happen — I completely agree. But how a company responds in those moments is what defines good service. Sadly, this fell short.

I'm sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the service you received. We have looked into this and can see that you made contact with our customer service team requesting for your delivery address to be amended as you had mistakenly entered the wrong one. Our team then got in contact with our courier service to see if anything could be done at which point it could not as it had already left us and was on its way, In the meantime you placed another order to the correct address. We then received a return from yourself a few days later at which point we immediately processed a refund, our system does not allow for us to refund anything greater than the initial order total and therefore we could only refund what we had received back and scanned. Apologies for any confusion however we at Tapp'd followed all of the correct procedures and adhered to all of your requests except the request of additional costs refunded which we were physically unable to do. We would be happy to offer you a discount of your next purchase should you want to order again, please do get in touch.

Very Good!!

I recieved a voucher for a box of drinks. The process for submitting it all was very straightforward.
There was a mix up with the delivery (I think this was DHL!), but as soon as I contacted customer support, things got sorted very efficiently- Annie was very helpful!!

Faultless

I ordered this time when there was an offer on. When I placed the order there was a problem with the offer code. I contacted customer service who explained that they knew of the problem and were shipping the free item with all qualifying orders.

Everything arrived in super quick time.
