TWO-HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLAR ORDER NOT RECEIVED. DISCOUNT TACKLE, on the other hand, always gets my order details CORRECT and my items are NEVER lost in shipping, UNLIKE TACKLE DIRECT. SHOP TACKLE DIRECT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! This has been my SECOND ATTEMPT in using TACKLE DIRECT services in almost six months! Save yourself the frustration and use DISCOUNT TACKLE, instead. Notice of delivery: "left at doorway". Next day received: "delivery delayed".
UPDATE:
TACKLE DIRECT immediately took action on my order and once completed; a representative from TACKLE DIRECT personally reached out to me to apologize and voice assurances that customer service is a major priority for them. It is only fair and responsible upon my part as a customer to provide an UPDATE of the corrective actions that were taken by the company in my regard. Thank You for your quick attention, corrective action, and reaching out to me personally, Tackle Direct.

Jean, our apologies for letting you down on this order. When you emailed in about the missing hardware with your Avet reel, we immediately reached out to our Avet rep to get them to send out the missing piece you are needed. Based on the picture you sent in you were missing a nut instead of a bolt/stud. We have followed up with Avet multiple times in regards to the missing hardware that you are needing, and there is no reason you do not have the missing hardware by now. We are reaching out to you directly to do our best to help you in regards to this situation, and are back in contact with Avet to make sure you get what you need to get back out on the water.
Customer Support communication a little slow but very fair ...
I have been very happy with their services until I purchased a reel that had a fault. After (too) much back n’ forth the reel was replaced. Only to find a new reel with same error. It’s now 5 days since I wrote them and no response… thats just not good enough..
Not suggesting that TackleDirect are to blaim for the faulty reels..but they are responsible for handling the matter in a swift and proffessional manner. This is far from the case. Their Customer Support is simply not geared to handle ..well, customers and issues

1. Yes since this post customer service has now replied. And offered a refund, which is very generous. Happy about that.
2. Its not that I live in Denmark - response has been via email and still slow, so that makes no difference.
3. As a summary Tackledirect have done what they could (and beyond) it just took to long to communicate and keep momentum in getting to solutions. But I have revised my review rating based on their latest actions..and would happy to shop there again..

First, this is not a normal return, exchange, or replacement situation since you are located in Denmark and not the USA. You emailed in on Saturday, 7/23, and we reached out to Penn first thing on Monday morning, 7/25, to initiate how they would like this to be handled. We have sold hundreds of this same exact reel, and your two reels are the only ones we have come across that the customer was not happy with the noise they made.
100% you should have been notified by our customer service representative that they were working on this for you, and that was already in motion on Monday morning. For not letting you know that, we certainly apologize. We have been waiting on a response from Penn, and you received an email as soon as we did.
We have already sent you out a second reel for no charge in replacement of the first reel that you received, which was delivered on 7/5. We will be refunding you for your purchase of the reel. If you would like you can send the reels into Penn for service if you think the reels are truly faulty. Our apologies for any inconvenience and that you did not like the Penn Slammer IV DX spinning reels, it certainly was not intentional and we tried our best to assist you with your order.
