i ordered 3 lures. 2 came timely. Im still waiting on the 3rd lure. Its been 2 months now
ive called twice and received information that you're waiting on a 2nd vendor to deliver to you. this is taking WAY too long.

Robert, the two lures that we listed as in-stock when the order was placed shipped out immediately, same day as ordered. The third that was not in-stock when ordered is set up to ship out as soon as we receive more in from the manufacturer. Certainly apologize for the longer than anticipated delay here, they have been delated several times. The third lure is set up to ship out the day we receive more in, and we have 18 of them on order at this time. If you do not want to wait for more of them to come in, we can try to find a comparable substitute for you, or we can certainly cancel the third lure and refund your PayPal. We will be reaching out to you directly to go over those options with you. Unfortunately there is not anything else we can do to expedite the process of getting more of this specific lure at this time.

I bought a brand new Shimano SLX 151X…

I bought a brand new Shimano SLX 151X XG. The reel was delivered defective. I call Tackle Direct and they tell me the the reel is under warranty. I call Shimano and they say I should send the reel back to Tackle Diret to receive a new non defective reel.
It will cost me $12 to ship the reel to SC and another $40.00 for warranty work.
Never again Tackle Direct.
I’ve been buying Shimano reels for over 35 years. This is the first problem I’ve ever had with a Shimano Reel.
Do not buy from Tackle Direct. Custom service is the worst I’ve ever seen. $129.00 pus tax for the reel another $50 to have the reel fixed
NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM TACKLE DIRECT.

Carl, we reached out to you directly to provide additional assistance here already and we hope that was a satisfactory resolution for your problem. Typically Shimano would handle an issue like this under warranty and you should not be charged for anything. $40 sounds like a repair rather than warranty. We would also have been more than happy to provide a pre-paid label for you as well. If you need anything else from us, please let us know. Our apologies for any inconvenience that may have been caused on our behalf.

Very disappointed in customer service

Very disappointed in customer service. I paid extra shipping fees to get my order by today. My order has not even left their warehouse. I checked fed-x tracking and all it says is “shipping label created.” I called Tackle Direct customer service and was told it left the building on the 7th and that it was a shipping company issue. This was not true. I get several Fed-x deliveries every week and fed-x’s tracking is pretty much up to the minute with delivery status. The bottom line is I paid for expedited service, didn’t get it and was lied to by the Tackle Direct customer service representative.

Greg, we certainly apologize for the delay in the order for the rods getting shipped out and ultimately delivered to you. We record all inbound calls for training purposes, and when you called in on Friday 9/9, you were told the rods were already picked up by FedEx, which was the case. Our customer service agent did mis-speak about the package being shipped out on 9/7. They saw that it was packed up at 5pm on 9/7 and it should have been in time for the pickup that night. It was indeed picked up on 9/8. Unfortunately FedEx did not scan the package when they picked it up on 9/8, and it did not receive its first scan until 9/9 when it reached their regional fulfillment center. The response you received from FedEx is one we would expect when the package was not scanned during pick up since they do not see it within their network without the pickup scan. They scan most packages at pickup, but rod tubes are frequently not due to their size. Your package 100% should have been shipped out on 9/7, and for that we apologize for any inconvenience caused on our behalf. You were refunded for the ground shipping charge and the rod tube fee accordingly. We will also be reaching out to you directly to follow up and make sure there is not anything else we can do to help you in regards to this situation. Thank you for your order and feedback, we truly appreciate both.
