Sytner Group - Sytner Chigwell MINI Anmeldelser 

I had my car booked into a local MINI Garage today for a service but decided to cancel it and book it with Sytner MINI Chigwell (an hour away, and Dartford crossing charges) as they had a car I was potentially going to purchase, so thought I would "kill two birds with one stone".
I have been liaising with John McKechnie, from initial contact he has been fantastic! Really professional, helpful and friendly!
He arranged the service booking for me and also arranged for me to have a MINI Convertible for the courtesy car for 24hours (as I was looking to change back to convertible) so I could get the feel of it again!
The courtesy car fuel level was on reserve and when I asked the service team, if they could put some fuel into the car they said they couldn't, as they do not have fuel cards and customers have to pay for their own fuel. I explained to them I have travelled further out to view a car and understand that fuel needs to be replaced by the customers, as a MINI customer for over 15 years, but do they expect their customers to collect a courtesy car and then have to drive to a petrol garage and fuel up before they set off on their journey home? Again, the service girl said, yes as they do not have a fuel card to put petrol in the car!
I decided to cancel my service booking and would re-book it into the local MINI Garage near me, in which then her Service Manager came to speak to me and just re-iterated the same thing! She then asked me if I was looking to buy a car from John and if that was the case she would see if John could put fuel in the car.
Finally they came back and advised me a Manager has authorised fuel and if I would be happy to wait, they would go and put petrol in the car.
By that time, it was too late, as I was not willing to wait any longer and what difference does it make if I was looking to buy a car or not?...So basically if I wasn't looking to buy their car, they wouldn't of put petrol in the courtesy car???
I cancelled my service and left the Dealership, after I explain to John the bad/poor customer service his service team had given me, a wasted journey and fuel/toll charges has resulted in him losing a sale! Being in Sales myself, I would not be happy if a Team member lost me a sale from poor customer service!
I cannot fault the Customer service John had given me, but the Service team needs to be re-trained on what good customer service is, which isn't handing out their courtesy cards with no petrol!!!!
Wasted journey, my time, fuel, toll charges and now a tyre cost of £150+, due to hitting a pot hole, 5 mins before arriving into the garage at Abridge Road, which wouldn't of been the case - So Thank you SYNTER MINI Chigwell!

I have been dealing with John McKechnie at Synter Chigwell and he has been absolutely brilliant. He is so helpful, very unpushy and a real pleasure to deal with. It has been a really great experience and he really listens to what you are looking for. Would highly recommend.

Had a great experience buying a new Mini Electric at the Sytner garage in Loughton. It was a smooth and seamless process from ordering the vehicle in November to receiving it in March. I was kept fully involved throughout the process by Marcel who was extremely helpful and always available if I needed him. Thank you Marcel for all your patience - nothing was too much trouble for you.

Purchasing my second Mini Cooper from Sytner Loughton has proved to be another great experience! Having seen the vehicle on display outside the showroom I enquired and spoke to John McKechnie a very pleasant salesperson who gave us all the information on the vehicle specification, he wasn’t at all pushy and offered to assist further should we wish. We subsequently rang a couple of days later spoke to John and purchased the car after discussing price,various purchase options, gap insurance and Autoglaze treatment. After paying a deposit we were given a date for collection, only 3 days later, we received paperwork for purchase and were reappraised of all finance and other options, I collected my car a week ago today and once again am highly delighted with my purchase, John phoned to ask if I was happy with the car and helped me on a few queries, excellent service!

Although it was not the best of times to buy a new car due to the lockdown restrictions I was impressed by the way the sale and part exchange were handled. Due to my experience I would definitely recommend this dealership.

This was the first that I had bought a car remotely without visiting the showroom. I was helped by Denis who was professional start to finish even following up with a call to check all was ok when I returned home. Every stage was explained and all paperwork arrived in timely manner. Good service, right price, great car -Would definitely use Sytner again.

I found mini at chigwell very well informed and very helpful to deal with. This is my fourth purchase from them and every time Iv'e come away satisfied with my purchase. Sadly though they have discontinued some of there courteous things like a mini valet on collection. Also collection and drop off of a vehicle for service and no more TLC pack,but other then that you have been professionally through out and a thank you to Marcel for exceptional service. Also a thank you to Jackie in service who is a star.

John McKechnie provided an excellent service. I can't rate him and the team at Sytner Chigwell Mini highly enough. Despite the intervention of new Covid restrictions, John was able to ensure that the transaction was concluded in a swift and highly professional manner. It was also greatly appreciated that he went the extra mile to ensure that I was fully aware of all the new processes and completely happy with them.

I originally spoke to one of Sytner’s salesman, Mathew Brightmore I knew what car I wanted and even the colour. They didn’t have one in stock or even at another dealership, I then settled to go for a different style Mini in another colour. 3 days later I visited the showroom windows my son, and lo and behold the original car I wanted was in stock at another dealership, finances were done quickly and discreetly as I had a car to trade in, I put down a deposit, when the car got to Chigwell it was paid for immediately.Then 5 days later I drove away in the car I originally wanted.!!!! I would recommend Sytner ( Chigwell) and Mathew Brightmore if you’re thinking of buying a mini.

Staff very helpful and accommodating and made the whole experience seamless with replacing my car .

The customer service at Mini Chigwell was the best I have ever received in my life. Not only was I under no pressure to buy a new car, but I was genuinely sold to, John and Richard took all of my needs and financial situation into consideration. I am so happy with my new vehicle and due to the outstanding service received by John McKechnie and Richard Airey I will always choose mini. They offered me kind and personalised service to the point where they would wait until I had a gap at work and call me then, John would also stay late and answer all of my questions. I have dealt with Sytner Chigwell for over 10 years on the BMW side and have never received anything less than excellent 5-star service, so my wife wanted to try Sytner Chigwell Mini for her new Cooper S and we were fortunate to be dealt with by Denis Stewart
Denis didn’t sell us a car – he encouraged us to buy. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable and always smiling, he answered every question fired at him and together with Richard Airey, put together a great deal with which we were very satisfied.

We received regular email updates via the MINI Order Status Programme to help us keep track of the new MINI as it became a reality. “Your car is now in the paint shop” which showed a picture of the body shell going in and below it, what the finished product will look like; “Your new MINI has been fully assembled” - now being given its final checks and tests by the quality control team, followed by “Your brand new MINI Cooper S 5-door Hatch Classic has just left the production plant. We’ll be back in touch once it’s arrived at our MINI Centre” Each email maintained and then built up the eager anticipation

After the car arrived at the dealership, Denis sent us a video – just a couple of minutes of him walking round the car with a commentary but my wife said it made her feel very special as the car had a big red bow on the bonnet. This was followed by a longer more instructional video in lieu of the usual ‘sitting in the car’ handover.

There were some minor hiccups along the way but thanks again to Denis and to Richard Airey for managing our expectations and by the time we had driven off the forecourt, exceeding them.

Superb team effort – would recommend Sytner Mini Chigwell unconditionally
