Bought a 2020 mini from Sytner and Dayna was very helpful and professional. Phone calls were returned as agreed and the sale went smoothly. Collected the car and started to drive home last Saturday and soon noticed the air con was not working. Reported straight away and was told that someone from the dealership would be in touch to advise how to deal. 4 days later after lots of chasing the response from the sales manager was to clear off to your nearest mini dealer and put in a warranty claim. Not impressed at all.

A very positive first experience of buying a Mini on line.

We bought a 2020 JCW mini from sytner Chigwell and the plan was to have it delivered and our part exchange taken back , Dayna was so helpful and even drove the new car down to us in Suffolk which was lovely of her , the problem started the afternoon of the new cars delivery as we decided to put the roof down and take it for a drive , as the roof went down the passenger window made an awful noise and subsequently put a deep scratch all the way up the window so I contacted sytner Chigwell and after a couple of conversations I was told the scratch wasn’t there when it left them so they would not replace the window but if we drive it back to Chigwell as gesture of good will they’d have a go at polishing it out ( I’d already spoken to my neighbour who works for auto glass and he said it wouldn’t polish out) so the long and the short of it is we bought a genuine mini window costing £57 had it fitted and all in it cost £113 so sytner have now lost a potential repeat customer for just over a hundred quid.
3/6/21 update I received a call from the new mini brand manager who had read my review here and told me the old brand manager was on his way out at the time we bought our car and that we should not have been treated so badly , he asked me for a copy of my repair receipt which I sent last week and we have as of today been reimbursed the £113.11 for the new window . So thank you Mr Hancock it’s appreciated

Service has been great. Nothing has been too much trouble for Denis. He’s has been communicative and gone the extra mile. I would use them again without a doubt.

I have recently purchased a Mini Electric Level 2 from Sytner Chigwell and the experience was stress free from start to finish.Matthew Brightmore was always available and supplied a great service.And the car is amazing,retains the fun of Mini hatchbacks and provides power when needed.

Dayna rang me back after I requested details of a pre-reg. MINI they were advertising on-line. That vehicle turned out to be unsuitable (No "NAV Pack"), but she offered me, what sounded the perfect vehicle, which they were expecting in on the following Saturday. Without fail she sent me a video on the Saturday morning & the vehicle turned out to be just what I was looking for (pre-registered by MINI UK with 45 miles on the clock) & at a great price too. I live in the West Midlands, so it was agreed the vehicle would be "trailered" up to me & Dayna arranged this and also a set of replacement personalised plates for the vehicle, free of charge. The whole of the transaction was either done over the phone or on-line & I couldn't have been more satisfied with the condition of the vehicle or the final outcome, particularly considering the current pandemic. A perfect birthday present for my wife & a very satisfactory customer experience in every respect. Well done Sytner MINI Chigwell!!

From my first phone call until I drove away in my new car I received a first class service from your representative Matthew Brightmore. Matt answered all my question and nothing was ever to much trouble. He kept me up to date with delivery details and before driving away took the time to explain how everything in the car worked and said not to hesitate in calling him if I had any queries or if I needed further information or assistance. He then checked a week later that I was happy with my car and reminded me that if I needed any further assistance I only had to call

I recently purchased a new Mini from Sytner Chigwell and despite the difficulty of having to buy a car over the phone due to the pandemic the staff were very helpful enabling a smooth and pleasant transaction. The young female assistant gave sound and timely advice throughout the purchase and a young male assistant took great care in explaining the practical driving features of the car when I collected it.

Excellent value for money from sytner Chigwell. Marcel and Richard were very down to earth and helped us achieve a deal for our new car that met our requirements. We had tried with various mini dealerships for a few months to try and get a good deal that worked well for us and mini Chigwell were by far the best at going the extra mile to ensure a deal could be done.

I had my car booked into a local MINI Garage today for a service but decided to cancel it and book it with Sytner MINI Chigwell (an hour away, and Dartford crossing charges) as they had a car I was potentially going to purchase, so thought I would "kill two birds with one stone".
I have been liaising with John McKechnie, from initial contact he has been fantastic! Really professional, helpful and friendly!
He arranged the service booking for me and also arranged for me to have a MINI Convertible for the courtesy car for 24hours (as I was looking to change back to convertible) so I could get the feel of it again!
The courtesy car fuel level was on reserve and when I asked the service team, if they could put some fuel into the car they said they couldn't, as they do not have fuel cards and customers have to pay for their own fuel. I explained to them I have travelled further out to view a car and understand that fuel needs to be replaced by the customers, as a MINI customer for over 15 years, but do they expect their customers to collect a courtesy car and then have to drive to a petrol garage and fuel up before they set off on their journey home? Again, the service girl said, yes as they do not have a fuel card to put petrol in the car!
I decided to cancel my service booking and would re-book it into the local MINI Garage near me, in which then her Service Manager came to speak to me and just re-iterated the same thing! She then asked me if I was looking to buy a car from John and if that was the case she would see if John could put fuel in the car.
Finally they came back and advised me a Manager has authorised fuel and if I would be happy to wait, they would go and put petrol in the car.
By that time, it was too late, as I was not willing to wait any longer and what difference does it make if I was looking to buy a car or not?...So basically if I wasn't looking to buy their car, they wouldn't of put petrol in the courtesy car???
I cancelled my service and left the Dealership, after I explain to John the bad/poor customer service his service team had given me, a wasted journey and fuel/toll charges has resulted in him losing a sale! Being in Sales myself, I would not be happy if a Team member lost me a sale from poor customer service!
I cannot fault the Customer service John had given me, but the Service team needs to be re-trained on what good customer service is, which isn't handing out their courtesy cards with no petrol!!!!
Wasted journey, my time, fuel, toll charges and now a tyre cost of £150+, due to hitting a pot hole, 5 mins before arriving into the garage at Abridge Road, which wouldn't of been the case - So Thank you SYNTER MINI Chigwell!
