One of our main local swimming pool closed down so all other pools were booked for under 12 months old. Signed up my 6 months old for 3.5 months (15 lessons) with Swimming Natures' nearest venue (not local to us). They cancelled 5 lessons ( worth £100!) in less than 3 months, 4 continous weeks due to pool closure. Kind of defeat the purpose of continuous early child development. Put "cash credit" on my account, but refuse to actually refund it. Why do some people think they can take someone's money, not provide services it was paid for, and keep it - is beyond me! I paid for gym membership and swimming classes at a gym so my baby did not miss weekly swims during closure of their venue (Highbury venue is not suitable for baby classes anyway - pool is too deep, no safety enclosure and changing table in changing rooms). As if parents do not have enough to handle managing their children's activities. I shall be reporting it to the Trading Standards.

Please don't go near this company. They are one of the most expensive and yet, due to last minute, on the day, cancellations - my children have swam about half the number of swimming lessons they are supposed to. Yet, when I try and change lessons I know we cannot attend (like half term holidays) and the staff are unhelpful and refuse to cancel and rearrange lessons in advance.
The rules and regulations mean you are not treated like a busy mother with balls to juggle.
The staff turn over is HUGE. We have had several different managers/ teacher changes - this says a lot about a company.

FIND ANYWHERE ELSE - I cannot wait to pull my children out of this awful awful swimming company.

So far my daughter has not been to have a lesson for 4 consecutive weeks. In September, we had different teachers at each session, then mid October the water quality of the pool was sub-standard and since then the classes have not restarted. We have dreadful molding in the storage room and the swimming teacher covered in rash - yet the team is not acknowledging it. We have had limited communication and no clear inform as to what was happening and when the class would start again. I got contacted to re-enroll being told the pool would reopen however the following day, only one hour before the class was due to start the lesson got cancelled again.

Impossible to talk to a senior member of staff or hear of a refund. At 40£\session this is very disappointing « All cancellations made by us are added to your account financially and can be used as a discount for future registrations. Apart from this, I recommend you to review the Terms & Conditions for your refund requests. »

My son really loves his lessons at Fitness First Streatham. Really good customer service and overall experience.

Swimming Nature (especially Jennifer) have transformed my daughters’ swimming. I wish I’d found them sooner.
The progress each week is unbelievable.
Highly recommend to all.

Our girls have attended lessons at Swimming Nature for over a year now and I couldn’t be more delighted with their progress. They love their weekly lessons and the instructors are all excellent. Jennifer, Joanna and Caitlin are brilliant with the kids, very patient, encouraging and bring fun to the lessons while focusing on developing great technique. Definitely a step above in comparison to other swimming lesson providers we have used in the past. Highly recommended.

One of the worst customer services I have ever experienced , put money over Childs safety and lesson structure is laughable. Only wished I read the other reviews before booking my child on

Isham’s a great teacher, my daughter learns really well with him. He engages her, but also has fun through the lesson. We have been using Swimming Nature for some years now, for both of my children, and I highly recommend them for the quality of the lessons and the skilled swimmers my children have become.

Teachers are all professional and kind. The lessons are funny and playful. My two girls are improving their skills very fast and are so happy to go to swim.

We started private swimming lessons with Swimming Nature for the final term this year. Needless to we have had 4 different teachers in 7 different sessions. Inconsistent feedback to us. Something is not gelling here, totally unprofessional and not what we signed up for.

Swimming Nature is brilliant and the best lesson provider we have used. Karolin is an excellent coach, she is patient and encouraging with my son even when he doesn’t lesson. I’ve watched his confidence quickly grow and he loves his weekly lessons.

I have just spoken to Swimming Nature customer service and suggest the chap Shamin I spoke to goes on a customer service training course. What a completely dreadful company to deal with if this is the level of their customer service. My experience merits not even One Star.

I would like to thank our fantastic teacher Jill from Swimming Nature. I am so glad we met her. She is a wonderful swimming coach achieving great progress but at the same she is calm, playful, fun and her communication with parents is excellent. She has a lovely relationship with my daughter making sure that lessons are fun but at the same time challenging her to progress with every lesson and rewarding her so she feels motivated and proud of her achievement. Thank you so much Jill!

My advice would be to make sure what you are booking when you book. ie maximum number of children and teachers in a lane, so you can make sure they actually have the space they need to swim.
When I raised a concern, I was run around by customer services and not responded to until I finally raised the issue with the venue management - at which point Swimming Nature responded immediately.
The teachers we had were lovely though.

First lesson - My daughter fill ill in the evening and the lesson is next day at 9am. I couldn't contact them as I was busy with my daughter in hospital etc...
I spoke to customer service and they simply do not care about my ill child and they will not give her an alternative. With this kind of attitude, I will not continue with them and I will go somewhere else. Moneywise, I have lost a small amount of money however Swimming Nature will lose a lot of money in future revenue from me, as I would like to continue the swimming lessons, but I will definitely go somewhere else. So, if there is a manager out there who has some business sense, they should have taken my daughter's illness into consideration.

I like to say special thank you to some swimming instructors for teaching my son, 4years old ( Alessandro, Dario, Diogo, Matheus, Emily even myself) to make building his confidence and make he is swim. We are very happy with whole progress he had on baby lesson and know on seal program.
The Maqan venue it’s amazing…. It’s not only take your child swim, you can have a lovely coffee and homemade cake, yoga, music rhymes and of course make friends. We loved it!!!!

My daughter started lessons in September at the Rec Club in Hampstead. She has had five different teachers since then, some good but some average and one terrible. The changes prevent good progress as she is constantly adjusting to a new person. She’s lost confidence in the water and is now reluctant to go the the lessons. She’s been matched a new child who is a higher level and that also makes the lesson harder. We have had to change lesson times to accommodate them and have had pool cancellations. It’s surprising that they can charge so much for such a poor service.

On top of lack of response and the fact that the excellent teachers are leaving, they have not refunded me money. They are basically stealing from long term customers. Avoid.

Honestly the worst company to deal with just concerned about taking the money and not giving any customer service. No understanding of the kids progress. Swapped multiple teachers who all seem to have their own swimming technique. Would not recommend.
