Brought out Dacia Duster Dec 2024 - Believed it had the Zen warranty, as long as we adhered to the required Dacia service (which we did) Failed MOT due to Turbo issue, Dacia Zen wouldn’t cover... Se mere

I purchased a car after taking my old car in for service. The salesman was charming but after talking a good talk and convincing me that the car he was trying to sell me would meet my needs it quickly became clear that that was not the case.
I already wasn’t happy regarding the extras that had ben added on at inflated cost (Driveway pack-mats, full tank of petrol) and the delivery fee which was explained as being a part of the (RRP) cost of the car that can’t be taken off even if you didn’t order the car. The first thing I noticed was that the rear number plate was damaged. I contacted the salesperson who said they could book it in. I then noticed that the parking sensors weren't working and the air conditioning can't be turned off. The salesperson said I would need to book this in myself which was fine but then informed me that and I quote "Air condition wise will always stay on but if turned off just ventilates the cabin with running air."
Given that one of the reasons that I wanted to change my car and my must haves on my car which were:
1. It needs to be economical. 2. Parking sensors (front and back) 3. I would prefer keyless entry (Amongst other things)
I compromised on point 2 in that the parking sensors were only rear and given that it was a smaller car it wouldn't matter so much. Point 3 I compromised as this car had been built to my spec and I accepted that.
The car is either hot or cold with the way the air-conditioning works and others have commented on it even though the aicon is off.
Another major issue I had after speaking to the service team was that the car had locked and alarm had enabled when I pressed the lock button on the centre console. And the cleaning fluid was dispensed then you had to pull the stick back several times to clear it from the screen. I was then told that the next appointment wasn't for 3 weeks even though I was concerned there may be an electrical fault.
I was the first person to arrive on the day as I arrived before 8. I called after 13:00 to be told the car wasn’t ready. They called after 3 to tell me there were no parking sensors…so it took them 7hours to figure it out…or rather they had left the car there and started on it when I called just like theist time I left my car for service and drive past 3x during the day to find my car in the same place despite dropping toff at 8am. The service staff although well meaning attempted to mansplain how to use windscreen wipers which I was extremely irritated about and to essentially say that I must have pressed the key and that’s how the car locked and alarmed with me in it. I had a a kia previously and the windscreen wipers did not work in the same manner. You shouldn’t be able to obscure your vision without it clearing automatically as it’s dangerous.
After telling me to book in for the “issue” with the parking sensors the salespersons response was “I sent you the specs”- Which I had to ask for. Parking system (Including cameras) would imply sensors and clearly he thought so too theorise he would have said “there are none”
When I asked to speak to the manager and specifically said I did not want to speak to the salesperson who had sold me the car. Then of course the salesperson rings me back and not the sales manager who was conveniently in a 2 hour meeting. They offered to fit parking sensors but for me the trust is gone so I said I would think about it. A bereavement has forced me to pause pursuing the matter but 2 weeks have passed and still no contact from the sales manager. I’ve called several times and been told he’s busy or he’s not in so there’s been no resolution.
Another thing I wasn’t happy about was when I went to cancel my service plan for my previous car I was told that they don’t deal with the provider EMAC any more so I would have to cancel myself. I then get paperwork through for my new car and the provider is EMAC so I very likely could have transferred the policy rather than cancelling.
The whole experience has been less than favourable and I would rather travel for miles to get a car from another dealership than visit this one again as much as I like KIA’s and the location is convenient for me.

Never again!! Very dissatisfied with the service department. No communication regarding progress of our service and MOT. Car not returned until the following day and no solution offered. Further travel expenses incurred. Total disregard for customer satisfaction. Two services have now resulted in complaints to Renault UK.
