Obviously Josh at hands the guy on the other line providing any out of hours assistance. The storage area's are nice and clean. I can thank them enough for what they have done .

If I could give a ZERO i would! I enquired about the cost of a 25ft unit, was quoted a price which was less than my current unit and paid a deposit and reserved a unit. I gave notice on my current unit and attended today after having a days annual leave with a car load to start moving out of my existing unit into this. On arrival I am then advised that the price quoted was incorrect and they wanted an additional £30 per month !!! Several calls and half an hour later I’m told the best they can do is £72 (£12 more than what was quoted) and despite having my own insurance for outside of the house which is in excess of £10k they will not accept unless their name is on OR I gave their insurance !!!! Absolute SCAMMERS …. Beware

First time using this company and so far I’m very happy.
Luke at the Stafford branch was very helpful and friendly and Ben who was on his first day was great too.
Luke explained everything clearly to me and made me feel confident in the service offered.
The facilities are clean and secure and I’d definitely recommend them.

When a notice period is given you should only be charged up to that point, that is the whole point of a notice period. However I was charged the whole of my next billing period despite giving in my months notice well before the bill was due. So I expected only to be charged to the end of my notice period. Surestore said it was to cover themselves as people hardly ever leave when they say they will! What is the point of the notice period then? Surestore then refused to refund me the extra money they had charged me when I handed my key back (which was before the end of my notice period) saying it was because I had a discounted rate! This is totally irrelevant because I should never have been charged past the end of my notice period. They begrudgingly gave me back my rental fees (after miscalculating them twice) but refused to give me back the insurance fees, despite the fact that these were also for the time beyond my notice period
So basically they have refused to return money that they should never have charged me in the first place.
Avoid at all costs.

SureStore WOKINGHAM and its staff, LOUISE SHORE, KAREN and AJ, have been terrible to deal with. In my opinion, everyone I have dealt with at SureStore Wokingham has been extremely unprofessional. LOUISE SHORE doesn't know how to speak to a customer. I challenged LOUISE SHORE on the theft of someone's belongs at SureStore Wokingham on 6 February 2024 (which was much talked about on Facebook and in the local Wokingham area). LOUISE SHORE'S response to the theft at HER storage unit, was to say that only one storage unit was broken into and that it wasn't important. I'm sure the person who's belongings were stolen had a problem with the lack of security at SureStore Wokingham. When I told LOUISE SHORE that I didn't want my belongings to be stolen, LOUISE SHORE actually said something along the lines of - nobody would want to steal my belongings! I have now moved the contents of my storage unit, at SureStore Wokingham, to another storage unit. Thankfully I will never again have to deal with Louise who is rude and unprofessional, AJ who sent me an email accusing me of being abusive and Karen who told me that she had been in a young offenders institute (a great attribute for someone whose job it is to ensure that people's belongs are kept safe).

Storage facilities are fine. However find any reason to charge extra to vacate unit and misinform customers of charges. Means any final weeks will more than likely cost double expecting. One weeks rental cost nearly 3 weeks initial rent Wouldn’t use again. There is also no customer service department the staff are just left to deal with the now increased cost and reduced access hours!
Staff in branch are lovely can’t fault them at all. I wouldn't recommend at all ..

Needed to put a four bed house in storage for 4 weeks having sold my old house and sure store has been amazing. Can’t fault the units, price or service provided by everyone from the unit manager and area manager.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING. No leave way to get your money sorted they keep adding fees and say it’s in your contract DO NOT USE

This company are making me have panic attacks and close to heart attacks now we are struggling to find the money to pay and they keep putting more late payments on £12 for first late payment 12 days after there is another late payment of £30 then 19 days after its even more. fair enough this is supposed to be in the terms of business but arent they supposed to lay out to everybody what the terms are in a verbal way also. Seems to be a trap so they can take your storage unit and sell it on. Me and my wife are disgusted with this firm and wished we never took our stuff there. they are not willing to help us and the further we are behind the more we aren't going to be able to pay. I have boxes of personal and confidential paperwork in this storage unit along with furniture. me and my wife both had to finish work through ill health and this is how these pieces of S**t are treating us. What ever you do do not take your goods to this place as they are rip off merchants and just a money taking company

Lichfield Sure Store Says 24/7 access - not true- my code didn’t work second time around and as I arrived after reception was open I rang the “out of hours phone line” which doesn’t work out if hours. Amazing. But there’s more. They kept ringing me to get me to sign up after so expressed and interest. Then when so ring them - they don’t answer. Chat bot says - “How can I help today?” I explained situation. Chat bot says- “sorry we are closed”. That’s great, thanks.

We rented a small unit in the Ashton-under-Lyne facility over the summer of 2022 and have nothing but praise for the facility and for the Surestore colleagues we dealt with.

Our main contact was with Vicky R-T, who (like her colleagues) was able to help us at all stages from initial enquiry, through the rental process and the exit process when we'd finished.

The facility appears to be super-secure. Access is a doddle and at all times we felt safe on the premises as well as reassured that our property was secure within our unit when we were not there.

The access times suited us perfectly and accessing our unit on the third floor was very easy with two large lifts, two ground floor loading bays and level access for the trolleys at all times. Other users we encountered were friendly and with the range of businesses that appear to operate from the facility as well as other users such as us, we were never alone, which gave us an added sense of security.

The unit itself was a simple metal walled room with concrete base. Very clean (indeed very clean throughout the premises). Easy to get things in and out. Our unit was alarmed when we were not there, adding to our sense of security.

On site we had access to modern toilet facilities, even a kitchenette with tea/coffee etc. had we wanted it. There is also a range of storage products available to buy if needed, which we were able to take advantage of.

Faultless, friendly service and we think, good value for money - we'd certainly recommend to anyone needing a short term storage solution in the area.
