REFUSING TO REFUND! (NOW TRYING TO REVERSE REFUND)
UPDATE: since posting this Trustpilot review, Riccardo suddenly and miraculously processed the refund to me via PayPal. However he then proceeded to start blackmailing me on email saying: "I’m about to issue your 540€ refund now. In all honesty I have to tell you that the credit issuance is strictly related to the removal of the review and that the PayPal credit can be recovered within 60 days in case of failure to remove, modify or republish."
As I have not complied with his wishes to remove the review, true to his word Riccardo has raised a dispute with PayPal trying to reverse the refund issued to me for shoes that I sent back. So bizarre! GLAM SRL are posing as "the buyer" on PayPal and me "the seller" when in fact it is the reverse.
I am now having to explain all of this to PayPal over email/calls. Honestly it's the most bizarre, long-winded, complex situation I have EVER been in with a company simply to get a refund.
I really hope the team at GLAM SRL read this and amend their approach to refunding and customer service in general.

ORIGINAL POST: Same story as many other reviews on here. I returned an order to them for a refund on 23rd August. On 19th October there is still no sign of the refund. I have sent 42 emails chasing up the refund and every response is full of excuses but no action is forthcoming. I even received an email from Riccardo on 27th September saying that the refund is in process but still nothing.
It’s SUCH a shame that they are running their business like this as I like the shoes I have bought and would have definitely become a loyal repeat customer buying more. But how is that possible when they treat their customers this badly? Such a shame.

Raffia mules became un-stitched after a few days
Purchased a beautiful pair of raffia mules, arrived on time but after wearing only three times the stitching on one side came undone within two weeks.These cost over £205 (243 Euros). Expensive foot wear. Several emails and photos sent to company but no response. Tried ringing the shop many times but no answer. Eventually after several days had a text from them to send more photos???
A chap called Riccardo answered an email saying they would repair them but at my cost to return them.
The shoes shouldn't be 'broken' after three wears. A refund should be forthcoming. It's been a terrible experience. Was so looking forward to glamourous mules and not sub-standard mules.
After reading your company’s reply today 4th Oct, you’re correct my first email which you didn’t answer, does state I wore the shoes six times. If I had known that your mules were only going to last six wears before the stitching gave way then I wouldn’t have purchased them. If they were repaired, what’s to say the other 3 sides don’t come unstitched?
Just let you know….. I am a woman who wears a size 6 and am dainty on my feet. I have not worn them recklessly.

Dear Sue Padgett from Uk, thank you very much for your valuable review which - although not positive at all - allows us to clarify to all the readers here our transparency at Suprglamourous.
First of all, we are very sorry to see that you are a bit of a lying customer: as per your own admission written via e-mail your raffia slippers have been worn several times (at least six) and not just three and as with all straw and unlined summer shoes it can happen that a reckless use causes damages that can be serenely repaired by a cobbler on site or by us directly by sending the shoe back.
We want to clarify that we have NEVER denied the authorization to return the shoes for a repair that we have offered to do even if yours was the purchase of a pair on sale received with free shipping... and if you didn't want to send the shoes back to us we could certainly have contributed by reimbursing you for the little money you would have spent at a cobbler in your city to do the same restoration.
Since you have given up our offer, we had to deny the possibility of returning your used pair for a refund as any other e-commerce in the world would have done: the used pairs damaged by the customer after the purchase (as in this case) are never refundable but only repairable.
We have also forwarded your request to our managers for a more specific evaluation but you've preferred to immediately write this review that demonstrates our good behavior and that often a review service for customers would be needed... not just for companies!
If you should reconsider our repair proposal, you can contact Riccardo who will take care of your case with his usual professionalism.
