UPDATE Oct 2024 13 months after the previous update
Still no resolution to our problem. The structure continues to leak. we have had two visits ( both arranged after multiple emails and considerable delay- dont get much choice, just have to take the date they offer, if not then they will make you wait even longer) and each time the structure has leaked on the next day it rained. The attending fitters keep blaming the fitting of the original installers but themselves are unable to make the structure watertight. I have again been waiting since July to even get a date for someone to attend ( had one email two months ago but nothing since. The will keep prioritising new customers and are ignoring people who have already paid them good money to install the structure on good faith.

Review from Sept 2023!---I have been extremely unhappy with the customer service. we had a glass room built last year after a long delay due to errors with the planning permission. within a few weeks of the install, the roof started leaking. after repeated requests, a visit was organised a few months later. this did not resolve the lead and subsequently there is another leak and the doors do not lock. I have contacted Sunspaces at least three times since September and received one reply in November promising action, but nothing since. There is no customer service whatsoever and i am not sure this company can honor a warranty nationwide as they have no local installers. The glass room was a dream project for us and looks great, if only it did not leak and the doors locked (a security hazard for us as well)
I am at a loss as to how to chase this company to resolve the matter and hope others will read this review and tread cautiously.

We explored numerous of options and had quotes from 3-4 companies but the Sunspaces were the ones who were rated quite well and their price came very honest from the beginning
The person dealing with our enquiry was very knowledgeable , offered free survey and didn't really pushed us into making a decision which was appreciated as I hate being hustled.
The install took just over 3 days and we are very happy with the finished product happy to recommend them

What a fantastic experience of getting our sunroom booked ordered and constructed, it looks fabulous 🤩

Luke must be very good at his work. He handled all our queries during the house visit, that allowed my wife and I to become comfortable. I still remember the big suitcase he had brought with him, there is nothing better than to feel the materials. I think the virtual pictures of the sunroom in the background of our house sold it for us.

I must specially commend the professionalism of both Chris and Craig who came in to construct the sunroom, of course they were very experienced, they consulted us very politely whenever needed and listened patiently to address my comments…. I know I was just nitpicking because there wasn’t anything to fix. The job was very well executed !!

1st class service from start to finish, exactly what i was looking for to house my jacuzzi, purchased the aspire+ 6m x 4m with just 2 posts to avoid spoiling the view of my garden.

I couldn’t be happier with my new glass room, from the initial survey to installation everything went smooth with regular updates and it was installed within just 6 weeks! I will be recommending to friends and family.

I had compared a few different veranda designs & suppliers, but the Aspire had the edge. Everyone at Sunspaces was very helpful, and not at all pushy. The install team arrived the week before Christmas, and managed to install our veranda in the rain. Top job!

We are extremely satisfied with our sunroom, it is a fantastic addition to our house and the quality is spot-on. The installation team (Craig, Noah and Ben) were excellent - top class workmanship, and they did everything possible to make the experience painless.
Communication from the company was absolutely terrible but we are still very happy customers....

With the installation finally completed we can say we are happy with the product delivered. Several issues were resolved promptly during the last visit from Neil and his colleague. The communication from Head Office has also been notably better in assigning ownership for the remainder issues. I have updated my review to reflect the overall outcome more positively.

Previous update:
We are in the 5th month since the project start and it is not yet completed. All communication from the Head Office following the sales cycle has been by email only and they are not reachable to call directly. This approach I feel makes understanding issues and thus resolution difficult, but there are also other factors, such as specialists availability, ownership gaps, and quality of delivery. On the more positive side, the product quality is good and there is ongoing communication, albeit sporadic.

We have had a 6m veranda installed by Sun Spaces at the back of our house recently. The experience with them from start to finish has been outstanding. Ben was incredibly helpful to get what we wanted and the installation team were first class. We are delighted with the results and highly recommend them to anyone interested in using them

Overall, not the experience I would expect when spending >£16k for a veranda.

The Good: The installation team. They're knowledgable, friendly and the finish is good.

The Bad: Customer service is poor.

If you have a very straight forward installation then perhaps you will not experience this. But in my experience they just don't get the basics right. (ie: updating the customer)

example: I wasn't told they would be leaving the rubbish behind, nor was I told they do not wire in the lights they sold me. This is small and easily rectified, but when you add it to the fact that you can never reach them by phone, or if you email it takes over a week to get a response, it can become frustrating.

At present, I've been waiting on an installation date for the final piece of work. Getting a date is like pulling teeth!, I understand they are waiting on a manufacturer themselves, but its not good when I have to keep chasing them for them to tell me 'we'll come back this afternoon with a date' and then its a another week and I have to chase them again.

Simple thing is. Their payment terms are weighted in a way that the risk is on the customer and not them. So now they have my money I just have to be patient I suppose - And keep emailing!

I am losing patience with this business. Had a poor experience when ordering my veranda, and they even installed the wrong glass. We were asked to remove our review and promised a better experience when ordering a blind for the veranda. Once again let down. I really would not recommend this company. They have taken my money but not provided the goods yet!

From initial contact to having Ben come over to complete the survey the service is smooth and all are responsive, Ben took onboard our concerns and wishes and we received what we asked for. A few calls back and forth and we received our pro forma ( read the information carefully as locks and lead flashing are not part of the price and need to be asked for at cost) this was resolved easily and we tried to pay using their recomended SAGEPAY ( not the best and needs work)
A few delays with installation dates but this was not unexpected due to reading the reviews but in fairness the delay wasn’t that bad and once Craig and his Son Noah arrived they were curtious and professional and carried out the installation with care ( note to company - get the instructions issued in English). Works took a little longer than expected but it was not rushed so quality was high throughout. Delivery of the product was on 6 very large pallets and space storage could be a major issue for some but we did have a drive so was managed, rubbish and pallets would normally be left which could cause issues as no skip was offered but we were told that they would phone on completion and a lorry would turn up… as it worked for me I broke the pallets up as have plans for the wood (also good for wood burners as not treated).
Overall impressed with the product, workmanship and service, so would highly recommend on what we have seen and the level of service we have had

Absolutely love our veranda. Really competitive prices, loved the 3d pictures they provided with our house. Instalation was seamless with 2 really wonderful guys. No real issues. Been in for s couple of weeks and so far so good!

Cannot thank the whole team at Sunspaces enough! From start to finish everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. What is most pleasing though is that the finished product exceeds expectations! We would highly recommend.

I love the look of my veranda however I have only given 2 stars as VERY disappointed with it as I am unable to use the space as I wished it has leaked from day one so I’m still having to bring in soft furnishings 6 weeks now still no one has been out to look at despite my emails asking them to fix it
They came out and I have literally been told it's down to the weather REALLY REALLY BAD told me

Purchased a 6x3 m veranda and after comparing with other suppliers I can honestly say that this was and is the best quality product by far. The installation team worked tirelessly through inclement weather to complete the installation. I consider them to be first class.
I do however wish to share a few learned points from a health and safety perspective.
A 2 man team should not be expected to lift and install a reinforced beam. Additional manpower was provided after the initial failure to lift the beam onto the support jacks.
Accessibility issues was not identified for the glass lay down area which meant a little disruption but was overcome.
Overall I would throughly recommend both the product and installation teams. Thank you.
