Midrange sunglasses are a myth - these are no better than the cheap ones. I went with the classics 8ko polarised lenses, still awful. I expected mid range as its a midrange price, but the quality of the product is cheap/low quality, not mid range. Trying to return them now. Odd returns process, they asked for a picture? If they were damaged or defective i understand the need for a pic, but returning due to poor quality. They know what their glasses look like, why do they want me to take a picture?

Reply to Ali's reply - the main issue was the lenses, there were reflections from the coating on the back, i dont know if the shape contributed to the issue, but it was ruining the field of view as was almost like having a ghosted image from behind in your fov. I tried them in a few different light conditions too and was the same issue. The reflection issue is a common issue with the cheaper sunglasses brands that I have tried. Compared to the Rayban polarised G15 lenses, i felt that the clarity and contrast was lacking. The g15 are green lenses. I appreciate that some of this could be personal preference, but I felt the contrast and clarity on the Rayban lenses was superior. If you have data showing how your lenses compare to the lenses of other brands, that would give people a better of idea of what to expect. The low score is partly because i expected better for the cost, but what I got was similar to some of the cheaper brands I have tried.

My sunglasses turned up with two small chips on their lenses. I contacted support and got an immediate AI response telling me someone would be in touch. I then chased twice over the next 2-3 weeks - no response.

I finally got a response from them (again AI) pushing me to a claims platform.

That responded quite quickly telling me the damage wasn't covered under the warranty.

Pretty dire service really.

UPDATE: Updating this to a 3 star, as they did eventually send out some replacement lenses.

Great sunglasses & excellent customer service. I made use of the lifetime guarantee after having had my sunglasses for 5 years & they came back good as new; so much better both environmental and financially than having to buy a new pair! Can’t fault them as a product or company. Highly recommended.

Bought some sunnies. Looked decent but nothing special for the price. Also, for that price there is no case to carry the glasses (you have to pay extra for it), just a little wipe/bag.
Now the good part. Their lifetime guarantee is not what it seems. My glasses got run over by a car leaving scratches on the glass. They say they don't guarantee scratched lenses thus no service. Even though my glasses fell during a bikeride.

Was a huge fan and advocating SunGod.
Placed a few orders almost a month ago. Chased a couple of times via support too. Funds went out of my account, but I can't track my order online, have had 0 confirmation that it has been shipped and no replies to my support tickets (last one raised almost 2 weeks ago) whatsoever.

2 year old pair of renegades had a busy life then got crushed ina shoulder bag and the frame broke-- replaced via the lifetime guarantee in 48 hours- what a sterling and unique service- well done

Put the shades (Renegades) to one side, they are great!
It’s the customer service that gets 5 stars.
Following my order I was advised there would be a delay with the delivery, for no there reason they were overwhelmed with orders.
I bought them for a forthcoming holiday and feared they wouldn’t arrived in time. But when I explained my issue, Abby jumped straight in. My delivery was upgraded to a next day service at no extra cost and Abby continued to email me with updates relating to the order status and they arrived in good time.

Shocking Customer Service. Money Debited, Item not delivered, zero communication from company.

I ordered a pair of replacement lenses and a frame conversion kit from Sungod on the 12th August. it is now over 4 weeks later and whilst the money was promptly debited from my account, the items have not been delivered. I have tried contacting the customer service team on multiple occasions for a status update only to be responded to by their utterly useless AI chat bot Sol.

At this point, it's nothing more than theft and I will be filing a charge back from my Bank.

Do not trust Sungod, do not purchase their products. Incredibly disappointing experience.

Terrible customer service and a completely unacceptable returns process. I ordered a pair of glasses that unfortunately do not fit me, so I simply wanted to return them. However, the returns portal does not work, and despite contacting customer service by email, I have received no response whatsoever.

01.10.2026 Update: Issue resolved very well

I wanted to update my original review, as SunGod did eventually resolve the issue very well. They arranged the return, covered all the costs and issued a full refund. They also apologised for the problems with the returns process and customer service.

While the initial experience was frustrating, I really appreciate how they handled it in the end and took responsibility for the situation. Thank you for resolving everything so fairly.

good luck getting a refund for a return . customer service are non existent and when they exist are useless. had to involve my bank and only
then they magically issued the refund, more than a month after they received my returned items

My feeling with the brands was a rollercoaster. I first found them through an Instagram post. It was for the Airas stealth that I ended up buying. I paid £150, which is quite a lot for me. The boxing is really good, it looks like they take the brand seriously, similar to what Apple does with their product. My first impression of the glasses wasn't the best. They were extremely light and when wearing them the view was amazing, but there was something with the quality that didn't feel right. A week later, I saw in the same ads that I was receiving that they were offering 2x1 for the same glasses. I was pissed off, and I contacted them through Instagram but didn't receive any response.
I kept using the glasses, and after a road trip where I was using them as normal sunglasses, the glass broke when I was removing them. I then remembered I had a warranty, so I used it. The process was relatively quick, but not ideal. They have a system with sort of a chat/messaging system, where they weren't straightforward on how the process would be. This is, whether I would receive a whole new pair of glasses or just the lens replacement, or if I would receive any replacement at all. It took almost 2 or 3 weeks, but I got the replacement after all. Now I'm back to using them, and they are one of the favorite glasses. With the new change, they feel more robust, but still light.

On top of that, because of my experience, customer support was kind enough to give me a discount voucher to get a new pair. I recently used it to acquire a new pair of normal sunglasses. They also shared that they were changing their system to handle the replacements, and my experience with it was due to the change.

In overall, my experience with the brand didn't start at its best, but was growing over time. I have other friends who are also using Sungod, so I'm happy to recommend the brand.

Fast delivery UK to UK, poor after sales service. I have issues with my pair, email CS asking for help, no response whatsoever.

I still don't know what is wrong with my pair, and no one email back, unable to use what I have paid for and now sitting in the drawer gathering dust.

I ordered a pair of Classics4 Pro for my wife, and the design ended up being way too wide/large for her. I've been trying to return my order for the past 10 days and all I get are canned responses from their Sol bot. Their standardised returns process does not cover my jurisdiction. I'll never order from them again. So much for being a B Corp!....

I have been a loyal SunGod customer since 2021. I've purchased two custom pairs of Velan sunglasses, and they are fantastic! I have sensitive eyes and these glasses have provided a very high level of comfort/protection. Additionally, I've received numerous compliments on the style of the glasses. Anytime I need to contact SunGod they've been extremely responsive and helpful. I am a SunGod user for life!

I’ve been extremely impressed with SunGod’s customer service and warranty support. The entire process was seamless, with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to resolving my issue quickly and professionally.

A special mention to Ryan, who was fantastic throughout. He was responsive, helpful and kept me updated at every stage, making the whole experience incredibly straightforward.

I placed an order on Aug 9 and since then there have been no updates, no responses to my multiple emails to orders@ or support@, only auto replies from their bot and even those are completely useless. That’s not the first time I buy sunnies from them and I was quite patient about this order, but there is always a limit.

UPDATE: Another week has passed. SunGod has still not replied. I have been forced to initiate a formal dispute with Klarna to protect my money due to complete customer abandonment.

UPDATE2: On Sep 25 SunGod finally reached out to me with an explanation for the delay - stock outs for lenses for sunnies that were a gift in my order. The order has been shipped on Sep 28. I still feel quite flat about the whole experience and I'm sure accepting the order, i.e. not canceling it, was the right way.

UPDATE 3: SunGod and Ali have reached to me again and kindly provided a promo code for a significant discount for a next order, which was very great to see. Thank you.
The order it seems was cursed from the beginning and DHL Express lost the parcel.

UPDATE 4: Ali and SunGod reshipped my order and it finally arrived. I just want to say a big thank you to Ali and the SunGod CS team for their help in resolving all the issues, which is really appreciated ❤️

Please avoid this company and don’t believe the absolute rubbish they spout ! Item 2 weeks late, not the item I asked for, claimed it was an upgrade , I contacted to say I have not received a refund and showed proof of postage and delivery and was then asked to return the item ! Please please avoid.

Lo peor de todo es que he contactado con su servicio de atención al cliente y no contestan, están ignorando mis mensajes.

Really like my sunglasses, love the style and they work really well to protect my eyes which are really sensitive to bright sunshine.

Absolutely fantastic service and company once you can get through the Ai help desk the people at sun god are superb there customer services is second to none and they are very customer orientated and driven having a complex situation I needed dealing with SEB absolutely went above and beyond to help me resolve this matter I sent back the pair I had and Seb stayed in contact right the way through and my new pair has arrived today

All I can say is great guy great company fantastic products and absolutely amazing experience please keep up the amazing work guys
