Brille ist unverhältnismäßig schnell kaputt gegangen dafür das diese so teuer sind. Vor 2 Wochen dem Kundendienst wegen der Garantie geschrieben & bis heute keine Antwort erhalten.

EDIT: Nachdem ich eine Antwort erhalten hatte, ging alles super schnell & unkompliziert. Von daher gibts die 4 Sterne!

Ali, SunGod's co-founder, replied here and emailed me directly. He acknowledged what went wrong and covered the cost of a replacement pair, which I've now ordered.

Worth adding that the product was never the issue — I've been a customer since 2019 and the glasses themselves are excellent.

Fair play to them for sorting it.

Abysmal customer service. I contacted these guys the day after ordering my glasses as I wanted to change the colour of the prescription lenses. Contacted them on the 17th of August and am still waiting for a reply. I’ve had regular sunglasses from Sun God before, and they’re great, but for prescription glasses, unless you’re absolutely sure… Go elsewhere. I don't even know if I'm going to receive these glasses as their website is telling me that I have not placed an order with them despite taking my money.

Same as lots of others, order placed and payment taken but no delivery after 3 weeks. No response from sungod so chargeback requested through bank.

Absolutely LOVE my SunGods. I've had mine for over 10 years and have only added to my collection over the years. The biggest draw card is the strength/flexibility which for anyone with young children cannot be overstated! If they do happen to be damaged, as mine were recently, their lifetime warranty (no questions asked) is fantastic, with you actually working with REAL PEOPLE to resolve any issues!!

Oh golly wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order! Having the same experience as so many on here.
Placed my order 2 weeks ago, had an order confirmation and money taken but no sign of sunglasses or that they have been dispatched. Messaged after a week to get the AI Bot who has forwarded on my messages to get a response in 3 days and have heard nothing. If you keep your customers in the loop it would be so different. So yesterday I messaged to cancel my order to get another AI response. What is going on? Come on SunGod do you really want these reviews.

My original review is below. The update is much more positive. Following the review the company got in touch and a) sent me a pair of replacement socks for the frames b) acknowledged their slow response and c) offered me a discount by way of compensation. I feel better about the brand as a result.

The glasses look good and the lens is a quality one but parts of the frame are not well designed. The rubber parts of the arms perished within six months! Very poor customer service with a useless chatbot and no obvious option to email them or speak with them. I sent a message over a week ago and so far no reply. There’s plenty of other options and my next pair of cycling glasses will not be from Sungod.

Really poor service and aftercare despite a good product. I made an error on my order and immediately emailed asking for a change. Someone emailed back saying it had been amended. When it arrived it hadn’t, and now despite emailing the person and support multiple times they have completely ignored me for 2 weeks. A real shame, whilst I own multiple pairs, I think it will be my last out of principle.

Still waiting for my order over two weeks on. Multiple emails asking for an update with no response. Absolutely no option to speak to anyone obviously. A week after ordering I had an email asking me to review my purchase. Ill have to claim through Barclaycard

First off the fact that they have a lifetime warranty is, inofitself, brilliant. When I went register because I had sat on my 5 year old glasses, they were super helpful at finding my order number so.i could make a replacement glasses application.

I broke my sunglasess and contacted them whilst I am away for an extended period. The service I recieved was first rate and I now have a new pair waiting for my return home.
I love the glasses as they fit so well and have no worry about them falling off. Best pair I have owned.

I needed to exchange a pair of glasses and the service I received from every member of Sungod staff was excellent. Communication is swift and clear and I am now the proud owner of a replacement pair of Forty 2s.
Very happy.

I've bought 2 pairs: one with the upgraded BKO lens and one without, but both are Renegade frames.
I find them lighter than some brands, which is refreshing, since they don't feel heavy or keep slipping.
I wore my KO lenses while driving yesterday, and again this morning. They seemed decent in lower light and bright sun, too.
Normal lenses are perfectly adequate if you are wearing them socially, casually, or around the pool. If you want the BKO lens, you pay for what you get. I personally don't think there’s a massive difference in what I use them for. Maybe BKO for more purposeful tasks. Others will disagree with me and won't have anything else.
You pay your money and take your choice.
Customer service and communication were good; they told me my order would be late before I had to do anything. They kept me informed on stock levels and when they would arrive.

Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 8 August and still haven’t received them. The payment has been taken from my bank account and I received an order confirmation, but when I enter the order number online, it says the order isn’t recognised.

Trying to get help has been extremely frustrating. The online chatbot doesn’t work and doesn’t respond, and I’ve found it very difficult to actually speak to anyone about my order.

I would really appreciate some proper customer service and an update on where my order is. At this point, I’m very disappointed with the service I’ve received. Based on this I wouldn’t recommend using them nor would I buy from them again.

Their logistics and customer service are actually terrible. I’ve been waiting on an order to be delivered since the 6th August, so it’s been 10 days now. Meant to be 48hr delivery, only reason why i’m making a review is because they haven’t responded to me for past 3 days on their chat bot.

For the price of these sunglasses the customer service should really be better.

Used them many time in the past but my latest order never arrived. They're ignoring my emails and chats and haven't refunded me. Atrocious customer service. Human replaced with a bot which seems to take bi actions at all. There's now better alternatives. They've lost the startup customer care that was initially attractive.

There were a few hiccups with my first SunGod order, initially around stock availability and then an issue with how my sunglasses had been assembled.

However, what really stood out was how the problems were ultimately dealt with. Seb was extremely helpful throughout, found a solution to the original stock issue and then worked with me to resolve the subsequent problem so I was happy.

Things don't always go perfectly with an order, and for me the real test of a company is how they respond when something does go wrong.

Thanks largely to Seb's help, everything has now been resolved fairly and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I wont shop for Sunglasses anywhere else ever again!!! I brought my first Classic 4k pair last year and this year purchased the Classic 8k.... sadly a freind decided to sit on them and damage them.... raised query with them, 24 hours later confirmed they would send me a new pair !! Not only is the product fantastic but the service is just as good !! Well done !

Honest review. I had the arm of glasses pop off unexpectedly through totally normal use. Unfortunately I was on a pier, and it fell through the gap, 50ft over water. I emailed. The initial response hadn't taken into account any details in my original email. But once I had the attention of an actual person, the service was superb. So given how much I like the product, and how happy I am with the resolution, I'm happy to give 5*.

I bought a pair of sunglasses for my holidays a week ago on the back of Sungod's claim of next day delivery. I have not received the product and have had no information regarding why dispatch has been delayed. I contacted customer service by email but got replies from an AI chatbot which was of no use - could not access my order or provide any info. Told me they would pass on to a real person but have had no email since. Chatbot said that if I tried to email again it would result in my query going to the back of the queue!! Absolutely terrible service. The company clearly cannot fulfil its promises and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your sunglasses.
