Ditto so many others in as far as they refused to sanction two sizeable withdrawals until an excessive amount of personal documentation had been provided. Not only could they receive large amounts of money in deposits without this being deemed necessary as 'a fraud issue', they could also process more meagre withdrawals without it too. Such criteria surely have to be requested before deposits are accepted, rather than before withdrawals are refused. Significantly, no major online bookmaker seems to insist upon this, and I shall not be going further afield from now on. However, it would be interesting to know how much these bookmakers are keeping due to people being technically unable to provide this documentation or simply not being in possession of it (and also why ibas et al are doing nothing to stop it). Website freezes every saturday. Obv the site can't handle the amount of people. I've told them numerous times only to be told the website is fine try clearing your cookies/cache. I sent them 5 tweets asking and they ignored each one.

If the site is fine during the week but freezes on Saturday it doesn't take a genius to see the problem

I've tried on multiple platforms and still the same but they claim it's fine their end. The customer service is terrible. Take days to reply or ignore it altogether. When you get a reply they have no clue what they're talking about

Deposit fine they never moan but first time I wanted to withdraw they want the account verified. I understand why but why not verify it before I bet? They don't care about verfication when I'm depositing and spending money.

This company is worser than foreign company's the amount I.d you got to send in unbelievable then it takes 72 hours to look at not including weekends! Then a manager had to look at after the 72 hours but he was off for two days (not my problem) then was asked to send in more I.d then my account was frozen I was mentally sick with all the chat and emails live chat they didn't have a clue as they never save there notes and so rude.

If I could I would give them no stars. To cut a long story short they stiffed me on a bet and showed no good faith whatsoever even though the mistake was entirely theirs(as they admitted). They then tried to say I owed them money for their mistake and if I had not persisted in pointing out their error I would've ended up paying. Their customer service is very poor. There are plenty of other companies out there who don't behave in such a cheap and unprofessional fashion so I would suggest that you use one of those instead.

I was looking for a new online bookie to use and signed up for Sunbets.

My account was suspended as soon as I signed up so I assumed from reading a few comments online that I would need to verify my age.

I emailed Sunbets to ask what they need from me.

No response.

I just signed up to a different bookie instead.

Like a review below... Disgusting, open and account, deposit some money, only then they say "we made need verification" as an after thought. But they want passport, driving licence, utility bill the works. The funny bit, is should I win, they won't let me have the money. If I book a holiday abroad, you know you need a passport, but with betting it is not obvious.

They must indicate this information, before they take your money, but it is all part of the scam it's a win win for them. Don't bother.with these cowboys, they should stick to printing newspapers

Shocker, same as many reviews, opened account, allowed to deposit and bet then asked for verification. Card i deposited with is registered at address given, i am on electoral roll. What else should they need?? I couldnt be bothered providing docs so asked them to cancel bet which is in several days time, return my funds and close my account, reasonable request i thought?? No, my bet has to stand and should it win i will have to provide docs to receive my money although they continued to close my account. Real joke of a company this and don't deserve the customers, am happy to take my business elsewhere. Please if you read this don't bother.

I joined and made a deposit, luckily I had a nice win. I had to send ID documents in order to be able to withdraw. I looked for reviews and read lots of bad reviews and was getting worried that I wouldn't get my winnings.
However, customer service was excellent and super quick. I even got my money the following day!

this is an edited review.. afterall there customer service is so great and i must give my compliment towards it. there was long delay on suspended match but after contacting them it was sorted out in sec .. bet plus on live section.

from opening the account back about a year ago i have received excellent customer service, very generous bonus system and also quick withdrawals. few chat advisors including MAGARATE AND JASON really stood out..... cheers for the great online experience

Basically i have been punting for 10 years online and sunbets is by a country mile the worst for business practice i have ever come across However the customer services are friendly and patient they just happen to work for a terrible company
Its probably the same for all the staff who work for mr m! they have my sympathy luckily i only deposited a tenner and i have written it off rather than deal with idiots

absolutely shocking - Opened an account and tried to place an each way bet. They only allowed part of the bet to be placed which is fair enough. I then tried to withdraw the unused balance but the restricted withdraws from m account. I have sent 7 forms of ID and Proof of address and wrote numerous emails and the still have my money and wont let me withdraw. This is just plain theft - nearly 2 weeks and still I cant withdraw my money.The staff there treat you like a criminal. Avoid

I'm surprised how good this bookies actually is, they have got all games from all around the world offer good odds and are the most generous bookies for free bets also withdrawal is quick, I've not had a single problem from them depositing betting and withdrawing all works fine and easy.

They let you deposit money first. Then you can't log in to your account, but it doesn't tell you why, it just says your user name and password are wrong.

I had to get hold of customer support and then they tell me my account is frozen and I have to give them my passport and a bank statement.

Not worth the hassle. It would have been nice if they told you before, because I could have just avoided this all together and used another site.
