I did the new customer offer from them and they sent me 2 promotional offers via email. Then to celebrate my birthday, they gave me 5 free spins on some slots which was obviously rigged in their favour. After I did the said offers they stopped my account. They obviously could not handle me actually winning the fantastic sum of 5p, YES, YOU HEARD CORRECT, 5 MISERLY PENCE on their casino slots.

A bit of advice Scumbets, if you do not want customers to participate in any of your offers then DO NOT OFFER THEM.

Received an email from Scumbets today to say that as from today, Tabcorp who run Sunbets have closed the site down for commercial reasons. No wonder if they treat customers badly. They've probably got no customers left to keep trading.
Right, can Skybet do the honourable thing now and do the same.

Rip you off, if you win you have absolutely zero chance of a payout, they employ every trick in the book to avoid paying you out.

They are very quick to take your money but you just try and make a withdrawal it's horrendous.

I just hope people read these reviews before using this horrific company.

Don't use this company, by the sounds of it they are going in to administration soon.

Happy to take your money with no checks whatsoever but to pay out they make it very difficult - asking for evidence of id and proof of address. Poor service particularly if you are struggling with betting addiction. Surely it is illegal to keep your money and refuse to pay out?

Bet nearly my maximum daily limit £800 in a daily basis win or lose and get no free bets to reward loyal customers . When I asked the clown on live chat about it all he said was to check promotions which pi**ed me off cause that clearly wasn't what I was asking about. I'll bet elsewhere now .

Even after providing about 50 different documents about my ID (enough for them to impersonate me), they still refused to reopen my betting account. Continuously disconnected me from a live chat with customer support. Will be betting with any site that's not this place.

One of the dodgy scammers out there. They advertise them self with nice promotional offers but after winning couple of time they restrict your account from getting any promotional offers. And there is no valid explanation or reason for it.. contact there customer service and they say they don't know the reason why, all they could explain to me was it was a business decision. They asked me to contact complain team so o did and they replied me with this_

Just totally unacceptable. They let you open an account and then if you have the audacity to actually win a bet they take all the promotions away. What an absolute joke of a company.

I had an online account with this company for 18 months and they were fine until the day I won a reasonable amount of money. Suddenly there was a problem with my identity, which meant I was unable to withdraw the £510. I then posted to them copies of my birth certificate,p60 tax form,and my current rates bill. Still no joy. I rang customer services,and was told these copies needed to be in colour. I explained that two of the three originals were in black and white so what should I do ?. I was told I could employ a notary to prove my identity. I ignored this advice posted a coloured copy of my birth certificate and again copied the two black and white originals. I was eventually allowed to withdraw my winnings

Spent a few hundred quid playing the justice league slot, working my way up the bonus game ranks. Finally got the the top batman bonus game, and it paid £0. Wasnt happy, but carried on and finally got back in the bonus round. Guess what...it paid £0 AGAIN. Had enough by now, but carried on to get yet another bonus round. Yep, you guessed it...a big fat £0. Slots are random win or lose, but this feels like a massive rip off. I will never play slots on this website again

I can honestly say that Sunbets have been more than fair with me and without going into too much detail, they are a credit to the bookmaking industry. I opened my Sunbets account earlier this year in time for Cheltenham and to date I have placed bets on golf, football and horse racing with them, and to reasonable stakes too. Not once have they knocked me back and offered a lesser amount which seems to be the norm these days (sadly). Add to that they offer BOG on most UK races, the Sunbets App is easy to use and I am happy to give this company a maximum 5* rating.

For those doubters out there who want to believe that I am on their payroll for writing such a good review, I can assure you that I have been placing bets for many years and I am 100% genuine. I simply want 'fairness for punters' and when a company impresses me (as they have done), I feel it only right to praise them as I am doing now!

AWFUL service! I signed up with them for an account deposited into the account. I then won 8 times what I deposited and tried to withdraw.... I was then met with a message that the account wasn’t verified yet so couldn’t withdraw (but don’t worry you can still deposit and bet more money!) I then contacted an agent through the live chat and was told they carry out auto checks which can take 72hours to verify and I need to wait. 72h came and account still not verified... I contact them again and question as to why and I am met with a response that sometimes auto checks don’t work and I need to send over documents to prove my identity (drivers license, utility bill, bank statement and a photo of my bank card) I then do so straight away and I am again told 72h for someone to approve the documents. After that my account still not verifed now 6 days later... so I contact again and find out that the picture of my bank card was not approved (but I had no contact to request a clearer photograph even though it was crystal in the first place). At this point I send over a further two pcictures and am told to wait another 48 hours! Still no contact so I message again and am put through to a manager which finally verified my account. So after a week of opening my account I am finally allowed to have MY money. Absolutely terrible service, unhelpful ‘agents’. Would strongly advise everyone to stay away, plenty of other bookmakers such as coral, skybet etc out there.

I found Sunbets to be open, very fair and give fair prices on all events.

Ive personally had a great experience with this bookmaker. The withdrawal times are faster than most out there (usually 24hrs)

Customer services are quick and effective in response.

Serioulsy, DO NOT open an accoutn with them. Shady company and will rip you off. Their system is shocking or its a con.

Cash out is clearly there showing on the screen. Yet it wont accept it.

Sunbets are not all bad. Yes, they do seem to have a lot of verification requirements, if not when opening, then definitely when withdrawing.

They requite a copy (masked) of the debit card you are using, photo id, plus one (or two if electronic) forms of proof of address, utility bill, bank etc..

However...

I wanted to withdraw winnings (£2000) on a Sunday evening, after all the documentation was sent (this took approx 45 minutes) I was verified and the money was in my bank account the next day.

Also, they seem to have better "live video" than most bookies (William Hill's tiny video screen comes to mind)... and their prices are not too bad..

there are worse Bookmakers out there in my experience, Betbright for instance..
