I would like to raise a concern regarding your email communication and my personal data under the GDPR.

In the last 2 weeks I have received 27 various emails from you these being addressed to different names than mine. All of this is still occurring after my details have been mixed up in your system and we are both aware of this from the day I have collected my car from you. You stated that this will be systematically rectified and an accurate invoice including personal details will be sent across, yet you have failed to confirm this and all I know at the moment is that I am bombarded with daily emails of different people’s personal data (names, registration plates, addresses, etc) of which none is addressed to myself.

Please take a minute to evaluate this situation and correct this issue ASAP.

An email has also been sent to Jaguar Reading on 3rd July 2025 at 21:18 with no response whatsoever.

AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD- RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL JUST AWFUL

I recently took my Jaguar XE in for MOT and service to Strastone Jaguar Reading, because I am of the understanding this helps in upholding the value of the car when I move on and want to sell. This is the branch that represents Jaguar and Land Rover, so I am expecting nothing short of the very best service.

Booking not a problem
Leaving my vehicle not a problem
Reporting of failed MOT and jobs that need doing not a problem, everything sent through is quoted to cost me £689. No problem, all good with me.

So far so good…. until AYESHA- the office pass around got involved. Ayesha from the service department calls me up to follow up on the failed MOT and vehicle health check and the jobs that needed doing. I reply all good, I’m with Warranty wise, I am covered with the cost. Ayesha explains my car failed on my back indicator bulb not working and asks again I’m I ok to get the jobs completed, I reply yes please, but I’ll take care of the adblue myself. I tell Ayesha my wheel arch on passenger’s side back seat is broken and I would like a new one fitted as wasn’t mentioned in report, Ayesha reply no problem I’ll get that looked into for you.
Call is ended with the understanding that my car is going to be taken care of all fixings, plus my additional request for new wheel arch. Ayesha tells me me she will call me to update me the following morning on everything.
The following day it is half 1 in afternoon, still no call, I go to my emails if anything, there’s an email sent at 11.49am, my total cost is £108. This surprises me, have they missed out an extra digit as I’m expecting a bill of over £700 with my wheel arch taken care of.
I call the service department, Ayesha answers, I asked why only £108, I thought it was over £689? Ayesha explains oh no, it was just the new bulb that was fitted, you on your way to collect?
I’m baffled on the phone, what about all the other jobs that needed doing? Ayesha replies oh no, just new bulb needed to pass MOT.. I am now of the understanding, Ayesha didn’t listen to a word of my response previous day. I question Ayesha why wasn’t the jobs done, now I can sense she doesn’t like the question and automatically starts to go on a rant:-
“I told you yesterday it was just the bulb for MOT to pass! We can play back the recording if you want, everything we talked about has been recorded!… you did not say anything about all the jobs to be done! I can get the recording play it back if you want!
I can’t believe what I am hearing, before I can explain that I needed the all the jobs done, which included tyres and screen washer tank leakage fix, Ayesha hung up the phone me abruptly.
By the way Ayesha has managed to put in a completely wrong address for me, I don’t know how that is possible, upon booking I has to put in my full address. CONCENTRATE on your job.
I call back several times no answer..

Keith answers the phone after presumably briefed by Ayesha, could tell by his deliberate sarcastic soft tone. I explain everything to Kieth, he replies leave it with me I’ll get all the jobs looked at and sorted…..as of today…? Did he F.
I have now collected my car and will take it to a garage that is hopefully good to take care of my car that their manufacturers itself do not care one bit about.
Don’t waste your time taking your cars here for service/MOT believing it to be best option, you will be disappointed. Rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff who will make you feel crap.
That building and their Woking practices need investigating, awful

Effortless and Organaised

No empathy or understanding for when your vehicle has a fault. Happened to me and also my wife. Once could be a mistake, twice suggests this is a level of service they think is acceptable

A car costing over 80k breaking down after 7 months and 6000 miles is not acceptable.

Straightforward service of my Jaguar by Stratstone JLR in Reading, but handled efficiently, courteously and promptly.

After ringing round a few other JLR dealerships within the local area before reaching out to JLR Stratstone, I was incredibly impressed with the customer service and overall experience I received 10/10!!

Would definitely return for future servicing needs. Steven went above & beyond to get my car fixed. Will recommend to friends & family.

I felt I could trust the workmanship, when car was diagnosed with fault time was taken to explain the fault, reason, and what was going to be done. From the start was told it's not an easy fix because of parts.
