Very disappointing experience with Land Rover Birmingham North. When I arrived with the vehicle, nobody took responsibility or offered any help. I was left stranded without a replacement car or any alternative transport. The reception staff simply shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. Despite following the instructions given by Land Rover Assistance, I was left to deal with the situation myself. It took more than 24 hours and numerous phone calls to finally receive a replacement vehicle. This caused unnecessary stress and disrupted important business commitments. For a premium brand like Land Rover, this level of customer service is completely unacceptable

I have an intermittent issue with my cameras not working on my 18 month old Evoque. Reported it to Stratstone Reading and booked it in for March 26. Was told it had been fixed but the issue persisted.

Booked it in a further 4 times this year - each time told it was fixed and each time it wasnt (the last time, I didnt even get out the car park before it failed!).

The Stratstone team's responsiveness and attitude is very poor. They never call when they say they will; they never return my calls; no accountability or appreciation that this issue has existed for nearly 8 months with no fix;

The customer experience has been terrible - it simply feels like no-one cares or has any appreciation of the inconvenience/frustration. Very disappointing!

I very rarely leave reviews like this, but after the way I have been treated I feel other people need to know about my experience before spending their money here.

I purchased a Range Rover for nearly £130,000. The vehicle is less than a year old, yet it has broken down and has now been with them for approximately SIX WEEKS.

Six weeks later, I still don’t have a proper explanation as to why a nearly new £130,000 vehicle has suffered such a serious failure, nor do I have any confidence as to when I will actually get it back.

They have even removed the engine and yet the vehicle is still not fixed. How can a Range Rover costing nearly £130,000, less than a year old, be sitting in a workshop for six weeks with its engine taken out and the customer still be left without a clear resolution?

But as dreadful as the situation with the car itself has been, the after-sales service and communication have been even worse.

The communication from them has been particularly poor. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication and the way I have been left chasing answers. There seems to be no urgency whatsoever. Updates should be coming to me without me constantly having to chase, especially considering the value and age of the vehicle and the seriousness of the problem.

I am a pensioner, and this whole experience has caused me an enormous amount of unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I spent nearly £130,000 believing I was buying a premium vehicle backed by premium customer service. Instead, I feel as though once they had my money, the level of care I expected simply wasn’t there when I actually needed their help.

What exactly are you paying a premium price for if this is the treatment you receive when something goes wrong?

I wouldn’t expect this level of after-sales care after buying a cheap second-hand car, never mind a nearly £130,000 Range Rover that isn’t even a year old.

The whole experience has been shocking from start to finish. Six weeks without the vehicle, the engine removed, no proper explanation for the failure, no clear resolution and communication that has been completely unacceptable.

I genuinely wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

If you’re considering spending a substantial amount of money on a Range Rover here, I would strongly suggest thinking very carefully about what happens after they have your money. Selling an expensive vehicle is the easy part. The true test of a dealership is how they treat their customers when something goes seriously wrong.

Based on my experience, the after-sales care has been nothing short of disgraceful.

Nearly £130,000 spent. Less than a year old. Six weeks in the workshop. Engine removed. Still not fixed.

That says everything.

The team at Stratstone Landrover are always friendly, polite, efficient and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying a Landrover

Purchased a car from Strathstone Landrover Reading . Coolant light came on on the way home from collection. Fast forward 2 weeks of little or no communication, other than when chased . I’ve now cancelled the finance and handed back the car and I’m being ignored when chasing my deposit and trade in value to be returned . Awful service which surprisingly wasn’t the case when I wanted to buy £80k worth of car ! Avoid at all costs

Service and MOT on time and within budget. Kept fully informed all through the process.

Excellent and professional staff who handled the whole process very efficiently.

Service department is busy and hard to get hold of, tried to get Land Rover assist to sort the issue out when it was a delay tactic, and then it took months for them to fix an issue under warranty and the car electronics are still not working properly. Spent more time back and forth to the garage than should be necessary.

They could'nt fix the problem very well.
