I travelled from Warwickshire to Land Rover Reading with my wife and dog to collect a five year old Land Rover 110 defender that was sold under the JLR approved scheme. First of all, what a fantastic facility. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, unlimited biscuits and coffees. They even provided our dog with water and unlimited dog treats. Thank you all.
However special thanks has to go to Tim and Tabs for exceeding expectations and putting together a fantastic deal. They also expedited the whole process to fit our busy schedule to enable us to collect the car within three days. A simply flawless process. Tim was great and conducted the handover despite our dog grumbling because all he wanted to do was go for a walk. The handover was very thorough. Thanks Tim. Tabs also took the time to introduce himself to us and made us feel special despite the fact that we were buying an approved used car. Keep doing what you are doing as we had a great day and experience and we were also treated to a great bouquet of flowers and more importantly a fantastic car. Thank you so much.

Excellent customer service, kept fully informed on progress of service, MOT. Took time to change battery on unused spare 8 year old key fob. Thank you.

On the whole went well, all done in reasonable time very smooth, vehicle health check video provided,prearranged loan vehicle arranged and a nice team of people. Only thing was being asked to pay and having to point out the vehicle had a a service plan, this I feel they could and should have checked before asking for a payment. I will certainly return.

I rang Stratestones Reading on Wednesday the 21st of January to ask about getting my Velar in for an MOT and service . The phone rang and stayed ringing for a full 5 mins no answer .so I rang again and this time waited to get the receptionist who apologised for my wait , but said she would put me through to the service manager . He never answered either ! After a long while I put the phone down and rang again reception answered and yet again apologised , I then asked to speak to the general manager who after waiting again was not available , I asked that he call me back he never did , i am just a loyal brand customer , who yet again has been treated like dirt . I have bought new through my company and privately over a million pounds worth of Jaguar and Range Rovers . But can I get to talk to anyone , no !
Have I been treated badly by what is supposed to be a luxury brand yes ! I have to now be a realist and find another car to spend my money on . Why ! Because no one should put up with time and again rubbish service . To the Reading general manager , you are a disgrace for not returning my request to complain to you. Range Rover you need much much better partners than this !

I am not the norm when it comes to buying a new car as I prefer to buy my cars outright rather than use finance or pop Alex fully understood and continued to support me with my purchase
To say im thrilled with my car and the buying experience would be an understatement so thank you to all the team at JLR Reading for making this happen

This garage does not communicate. I have been taking my evoque here for 4 years. I have to chase and chase for updates on the service. It's always kept in for more than a day despite assurance that it's all routine maintenance. This time it was kept in 3 days. They charge you for a courtesy car. The service itself is ridiculously expensive I don't know why I continue to bring it here, the customer service and charges never improve. I had to call 5 times in 3 days to find out when /if I was getting my car back! This time will definately be my last time using this garage.

Friendly staff, excellent standard of work, quick turnaround.

Went in to have its headlight replaced that failed. When the car was in I asked to have the engine coolant topped up. Checked with the service rep both when dropping the car AND when collecting that this had been checked/done. I was assured that it had been completed. On the drive home my engine coolant light came back on so the service manager lied to my face. Also origianlly made the appointment in August. At 5:30pm the night before my 8:30am appointment in October, I was told it was cancelled and then had to rearrange to November. A four month wait to get a headlight replaced, and being told the appointment is cancelled the night before the first booked at the last possible moment.

There's a theme here of terrible customer service. Will never go back to this dealership.

Friendly service and my car running smoothly after the repair at the main Jaguar dealership.
Only thing I m not happy that my car had not been washed properly after the service and repair .

showroom. After collecting my car from its recent service, a warning light appeared on the dashboard immediately. This is unacceptable, especially from a showroom of your size and reputation.
Such oversight raises serious concerns about the quality of work carried out and the attention to detail in your service department. I would never recommend this service centre to anyone based on my experience.
I expect a prompt explanation and resolution to this issue. Please advise how you intend to rectify the situation.

The job was done well, but I had to return my vehicle because I was initially informed that the work was complete when it actually wasn't. The communication needs to be better; I found myself repeatedly calling for updates instead of being proactively informed when the timeline extended beyond what was scheduled.

Why can Stratstone let us know when our service is due? I missed mine and now my warranty is affected. Stratstone have all this information on their systems, why can’t they send an automated message to let us know. Other car companies manage to do this.

In 2024 I bought a new Jaguar F Pace Hybrid from the Stratstones sale office in Slough - during the sales process they couldn't have been more helpful however subsequent issues caused by their own service department and appalling inactions and repeated failures to respond to reasonable requests led to a complaint and ongoing support from JLR's customer service department in the Midlands. Even with JLR's Customer Service team help several actions have still not been followed through. Due to my own personal experiences I have resolved never to use their services again. In addition, when I bought the car I paid nearly £700 to have the car Ceramic coated. It turns out that this payment pays for the car dealer to have one of their staff apply a fairly basic Diamondbrite product to the car and certainly didn't do anything like they claimed it would in protecting the car and is no better than applying a car wax. The guarantee is pointless and worthless as Diamondbrite merely send a bloke round to wash your car and re-apply this very average product to your car and then claim that they cannot be held responsible for the garages initial application costs nor claims regarding the products benefit's.
I would suggest that to anyone wanting to apply a Ceramic coating to their car that they buy the product from Diamondbrite and do it themselves. The three year claim about never having to wash or wax your car is completely false and you will need to re-do it regularly.

I had a wing mirror collision which needed repair and it was dealt with immediately I called at the garage.
