F Type in for an Engine warning light thinking it was going to be a day job. Ended up being nearly 2 months due to parts and staff shortages (and a few conversations with some very rude and blunt people in the service department). The only positive was Simeon, a very polite and honest gentlemen who ended up taking on my repair who was a pleasure to deal with in the end. But unfortunately I cant see myself going back - especially having bought a separate car from the same dealership a couple of weeks before this all unfolded.

In 3 times for the same issue and still not resolved. Especially annoying as they caused the issue in the first place.
The Service department doesn't answer the phone, its not unusual for you to be on hold for 20 or 30 minutes. They don't respond to emails either.

Unsatisfactory Service Experience and Conduct of Service Advisor
My experience was particularly disappointing due to the unprofessional conduct of your customer service advisor. I've been advised by the service advisor that the lower suspension arms and timing belt needed replacement.
While reviewing the vehicle's service history, I noticed that the cam belt had been replaced in November 2023. When I asked the service advisor whether the cam belt and timing belt were the same, he initially denied it. However, after consulting a technician, he confirmed they were indeed the same. I then raised the concern that if the timing/cam belt was replaced a year ago and is now defective, it should be covered under warranty and replaced at no cost. Additionally, I expressed my apprehension about potentially paying for unnecessary repairs due to an inaccurate report or defective part under warranty.
Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the service advisor, however, continued to be dismissive and rude. He began raising his voice and responded aggressively when I addressed him politely as "my dear," —a term I believed to be polite—he responded aggressively, "I am not your dear, call me Mr. XXX." While English is not my first language, I intended the term "my dear" to be a polite and friendly expression. His reaction was unnecessary and unprofessional, making an already uncomfortable interaction worse, as no disrespect was intended.
Recognizing that the conversation was unproductive, I chose to conclude it and agreed to bring the vehicle back for further inspection, solely to leave the premises.

I have always been treated very well…
I have always been treated very well and I have bought a Range rover Evoque and a Jaguar XF Sportbrake Portfolio. I also have a Jaguar F-Type from the first year of production (2013).
Everybody there is great, especially Gary Jones and Shanika, and all staff. The mechanics are great also. It has been very difficult to contact the dealership by phone, as you have used an outside call centre, which is extremely poor. I believe this is about to change so I can get through direct to the dealership as in the old days.
