Wonderful group of people and a variety of activities and experiences all put together by our wonderful, friendly tour leader Mandy who seemed to have the patience of a saint and was always proactive in ensuring everyone was ok

The host, Russ, ensured the whole trip was well organised and ran smoothly. The two guides, Kath and Sue were very knowledgeable and made the walks informative and fun. The hotel was smart and clean and staff welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Russ was a great team leader, the knowledgeable guides were excellent and the company of all participants was fabulous.

I paid over £6,000 for this holiday, with the main attraction of course being the Carnival. It was the sole reason for me booking it, and paying an enormous premium to attend. Unfortunately, we arrived late to the carnival, and our seats had been taken by another group. We were therefore herded into another area which it turned out had been booked by another group. What ensued was terrifying. The other group became very angry and started to push us away. I was pushed down to the row in front, jostled from both sides, and verbally abused by a number of members of the other group. Our guides were nowhere to be seen. Even worse, when they did turn up, we found out that exactly the same thing had happened last year. I have never been so frightened in my life. Solos response? £200. In addition, I was downgraded at the departure gate, and I had to fight for weeks to get a refund from Solos who came up with excuse after excuse after excuse as to why they wouldn't refund me. I would think very carefully before using this company again.

The trip was brilliantly organised and managed.
The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable.
The activities and optional choices well researched and supported by our in-house guide Debs who worked tirelessly.

I had a great trip to Amsterdam and the bulb fields at Keukenhof. The itinerary was just the right mix of included trips and free time to explore. We were expertly guided by our wonderful tour rep Debs, and it was great to have the WhatsApp group to post messages and photos.

My holiday to Malta was excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the whole process.
Our tour leader, Jo Pateman, took care of us so well. All the trips ran smoothly, she went out of her way to make sure we all had a good holiday.
The staff at the Preluna hotel were great. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them
The hotel is very good. The food buffets were awesome.
Everyone in our group got on well with each other.
I would highly recommend travelling with Solos.

The tour director Jo was extraordinary and the other guests were so much fun! Well organized and the hotel view was amazing!

This was my third trip with Solos to Amsterdam and the Keukenhof Gardens. The Gardens were amazing and we had a super guide round Amsterdam. As always the holiday was enhanced greatly by our friendly and resourceful tour leader Debs. Lovely hotel, although situated quite far out of the centre.

It was an absolute amazing experience and I met some lovely people. Sue went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after well. Dublin is a fantastic place to visit and the people there are so friendly.

A great week, very well organised by leader. Despite poor weather, in accordance with which, the itinerary was altered, but still covered all the expected highlights. The guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The hotel was excellent. The fellow travellers were very friendly. My 3rd Solo's trip, the best yet. Have booked another on immediate return

Solo Holidays first bowling holiday in Phafos Cyprus. Our tour leader went above & beyond ensuring it was inclusive & enjoyable for everyone, whilst encouraging those who wished to be more independent to 'do their own thing' outside of the scheduled 2 hr bowling sessions.

This was my fourth Solo holiday - the second one with Mark as the leader. He looked after us and ensured that everyone was having a good time.
He also has a great sense of humour - he really made the holiday!

Just returned from a great week of playing tennis in Portugal, Hotel was excellent, tour leader Mark was excellent, the courts made playing very taxing and interesting! Excellent group all so friendly and lots of laughs. Would highly recommend (as long as I can get on it again!!)

Had an amazing holiday in Antigua.Gary, Our tour leader was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed in their rooms ,sorting any issues out quickly , he managed to squeeze in all the trips various people wanted to do, even finding a new trip to Clarence House which was amazing! Would recommend this trip 100%.

Excellent social tennis holiday in the Western Algarve. Very good resort with a sociable group of players. Especially thanks to the host, Mark Atherton, who ensured that every member of the group had a fun, enjoyable holiday, both on the tennis courts and generally.

Excellent holiday in Istanbul with a great tour leader and friendly group of fellow travellers. A combination of excellent trips - to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi palace and enjoyable group meals made for a memorable experience. Recommended.
