We did some great trips, visited Clarence house and swam with stingrays. Amazing

Just returned from the Algarve and a tennis holiday. All went very smoothly and well organised by Mark our tour leader. Hotel was in a great location with a fabulous beach nearby. Thanks for making the trip good fun.

Excellent social tennis holiday in the sun organised by Mark Atherton. Great hotel with food above the normal standard of the all-inclusive buffet, with a wide selection of drinks. And good long walks along the beach.

Came back to Solos for a tennis holiday after a few years doing more coaching based holidays because I now want social play more than drills and coaching and it delivered the best experience. The hotel in Algarve was really good, great choice of food, but the standout thing was how well the tennis was organised. Our host Mark Atherton was excellent, arranging games and mixing people round and running the show with great humour and a laid back style but always professional in how he looked after us. Already booked in for my next one!

Great tour leader in Mark Atherton who looked after all our party making for a good holiday with excellent tennis for a range of peoples abilities. He made the holiday for everyone, many thanks Mark.

This was the first time that Solos had done a bowls trip. The location was the Athena Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, which is located about a mile from the harbour. There is a seaside promenade, or a short taxi/bus ride into town. The rooms and food (half board) were excellent, and the trip included a half-day tour of Paphos. Scott, our tour leader was excellent, and the group gelled together very well. The weather was generally good (maximum temperature about 22C), with one torrential downpour only. The trip is scheduled for March again in 2027.

Recently went to Puerto Santiago in Tenerife. Absolutely brilliant hotel and resort, Stunning location and fantastic food and facilities.
Lovely group of people and the Tour Leader Kim Jones was great fun and did a fantastic job looking after us all.
Would thoughly recommend.

Went on the wonderful women only Golden Triangle and Rajasthan tour with our tour leader , Mandy , who was fabulous at organising us to make the most of our days. It was amazing seeing all the sights, but what really made it stand out were the experiences of riding around Jaipur with the pink ladies, sunrise yoga at the Taj Mahal, visiting the Sheros cafe, established to help victims of acid attacks, visiting the welcoming Hindu temples and lake boat trip in Udaipur. These were the standout things that made it an experience not just a sightseeing holiday. Mandy our tour leader , meet us at Heathrow and looked out for us till we got back. Although I travelled alone, I felt I was with a group of friends . If you are worried about travelling alone, don’t be. Mandy and our local guide looked after us so that we didn’t have to worry about anything, just enjoy this amazing experience. You won’t regret it !

I have just returned from the Women Only India trip. Everything about the tour was well organised and we visited some fantastic places, stayed in lovely hotels and ate delicious food. Our group leader Mandy was brilliant and our tour guide Shakeel was very knowledgeable and proud of his country. If you have ever thought about visiting India I highly recommend this tour.

I'm not long back from the Western Algarve walking trip, it was brilliant . Fantastic walks , during which every moment seemed to be a 'wow' moment. We had a great rep in Fiona, and a great guide,Guilleme. The hotel was lovely , with friendly staff and great breakfasts.
Our evening meals were taken in local restaurants where we were treated to some lovely cuisine.
It was so nice to spend a week with such a lovely group of travel companions! It felt like we'd known one and other for ages.
The only downside was that the time went too quick, and we couldn't take the sun back with us.

My first Solos trip and it didn’t disappoint! We had an amazing tour of India’s golden triangle and Rajasthan. The itinerary for this trip was varied with many amazing sights and experiences. The local guide Shakil was informative and knowledgeable which enhanced the experiences we had. Mandy our Solos guide made sure the tour was inclusive, all important information was shared and was keen to ensure our experience was a positive one. Would highly recommend.

Just returned from my first Solos holiday. It exceeded my expectations. Amazing island (Antigua) great group but so well lead by our tour guide Gary who was super efficient, approachable and made sure we were all ok. Can’t wait to book my next trip

My first, but not my last Solos holiday, ended on my birthday. It was a fascinating trip exploring Madeira made extra special by the leader Michelle J.Her good humour enthusiasm and excellent organisation ensured we all had a great time. The farewell meal at a Portuguese resturant ended the trip in style with local folk dancers and singers serenading us. Fab-u-lus!

Just got back from a trip to Madeira. We were very unlucky with the weather, but I have nothing but praise for our tour leader Michelle. She did a fantastic job of making sure we were all taken care of and went out of her way to find alternative activities for us due to the very unpredictable weather.

We all loved the hotel and the setting right on the beach in beautiful Antigua. A lot depends on the rep and we were lucky in having Gary for the 10 days as he was great with us - quite excitable individuals. He was calm & practical but able to join in with us in a way we all appreciated. Trips were all spot on - just the right level for adventure/excitement or you could stay on the beach /do your own thing - no pressure.

I’ve just got back home after a truly lovely Solos holiday in Antigua. I had a fantastic stay at the Catamaran Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A big thank you to our tour leader, Gary, who made sure everything ran smoothly and kept the group entertained—his evening quizzes were definitely a hilarious highlight!
