The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields and leather/fabric furniture in the country without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom.

Good quality sofas but beware of stains
We were sent a number of swatches but one set did not arrive. The staff were friendly and helpful on the phone when we placed the order but we given the impression that the stain guard option included having had the sofas already sprayed for protection - which they were not.The delivery team were excellent, arriving when they said and giving us 30 mins warning, and then moving our old sofas as well as installing the new ones. The sofas are good quality and comfortable but we have already had a couple of marks which we have been able to remove, but we thought the sofas would have been pre treated we a stain guard as offered by some other manufacturers.

We’re sorry to hear that you have experienced some staining on your furniture. We can confirm that your sofas were fully treated. On fabric, stain guard works by applying an invisible protective coating to the fibres, helping to repel liquids and prevent them from soaking in straight away. This gives you time to clean and remove marks more easily, which sounds like exactly what you’ve experienced.
While it doesn’t make the fabric completely stain-proof, it does provide an important level of protection and helps keep your furniture looking its best for longer.
If you ever experience a more permanent stain, the Protect and Care cover you purchased will also provide support, giving you added peace of mind.

This is a small company owned by all…
This is a small company owned by all the workers/ staff. We traveled 3 hrs to visit their showroom. We were shown round by a lovely lady who told us all about how our chesterfield sofas would be made on site and advised us on the quality of leather for our house hold needs. The delivery was free and they honoured a sale price that had just finished. I wrote down the wrong date for delivery so wasn’t ready when the delivery man called to say he was 1/2 hr away. So they helped to move my old sofa into my garage waited while I hoovered then set up my 2 new sofa which were perfect. I can’t rate this company high enough. Would definitely recommend even if you are not local.

We discovered Sofas by Saxon while searching for British‑made leather sofas for our living room, and the entire experience has been brilliant from start to finish.
After browsing their website, we contacted their customer service team and requested leather swatches so we could see and feel the quality before placing an order. The team was extremely helpful, polite, and knowledgeable, which immediately gave us confidence in both the product and the company.
